Linda: Thanks for showing more adorable pictures of Kenny! We love to see them!
You'll have to tell me if you get tired of seeing them. For real ;) because I've got thousands of them :cloud9: I'm not a proud mom or anything;)!!!

Linda...that is good news about Kenny because his mom is very cool. :smooth: I'm so excited that he will be home soon...hang in there
Awww thank you so much :teeth: I am so excited too! I've never been away from him like this. Just the every other weekend w/his dad that started less than a year ago  ...that was hard to get use too as well!!!

I figured I'd get the eye color wrong...pictures are hard to tell! So you have a blue and a brown and yours are green...that's a variety...what about DW and DD?
DW has Hazel eyes and DD has brown eyes.

Well, you about have all the eye colors covered! My sister's family is like that...they have brown, hazel, blue, bown, blue...but no green. I think it's kind of cool. :thumbsup2

Hi Nicole! :) Our trip is coming up fast! I wish we could get together for a meet before I have to leave. It's 37 days to go for me!! :sunny:

42 days for me! What day are you leaving again? The only day that would be good for me to meet up is the 29th a Fri. What about you?

I'm leaving that day. :sad2: I think Magical Express is going to be picking me up at around 11 am. :guilty:

Oops I think I called him Ben  I'm glad he was able to go to school today but I wish we could zap his pain away.

That's alright I call them by the other's name all the time! :lmao: :rotfl2:
Thanks for your sweet words!

It's been a pretty slow day today! I found this on the 2nd or 3rd page!! :badpc:

Hope everyone is having a good day!

What is everyone having for dinner?

I'm making chicken & tortellini with alfredo sauce. I wish I had some bread to go with it, I forgot to pick some up at the grocery store!! I was too distracted by the banana bread!

Sounds good!

I don't know what I'm having for dinner yet.

We had chicken noodle soup. I would rather have chicken & tortellini.

I can't stop sending messages on oceangram. I have everyone at work doing it too. I spent my whole day sending stupid messages.

Ok..need to edit here lol...didn't see this thread was over 160 pages :rotfl2:

Only on page 8..but time for bed..

I definitely am not in any cliques..was always a loner in school too. Mostly because I am shy, though not as bad as I was when in school. I apparently didn't have the 'look'.... :confused3 or right vibe.

I do post but don't really expect any responses. As for PM's...I got one a couple weeks ago...! That was the only one.

Now get me talking about Disney, Vegas, Star Wars, and animals...and I am just a chatterbox :happytv: ...but mostly I am a listener. I just am not good at conversations.

Yes, those cravings can mess up a shopping list. :rotfl: We are have three-way chili...but the healthy version. The chili is made with black, red, and pinto beans...this goes over spaghetti...topped with some sharp cheddar and onions (optional)...and a nice fruit salad!

good evening all :) I sent you a pm Melanie...welcome!!! :)

OH.... its getting closer to Friday :Pinkbounc !!! I can't wait!!!! I'm so excited. I can't wait for his sons wedding to be over Sat. either... I'll have to send pix of that...Kenny in his little tux  he's going to be a little charmer for sure!!! such a handsome little devil!!
take care!!

How-D

How was everyone's day?? Good, I hope. Mine went fairly well, considering the mood I was in when I woke up----see my previous post from early this morning----wouldn't want to meet me in a dark alley, if I do say so myself. YIKES. I'm much better now. Just call me Sunshine. :sunny: :sunny:

Linda--again, LOL at Kenny's pics. Do I dare ask what was on his tongue that made it soooo blue?? Guitar?? How cute--I grew up with my dad playing the drums so I have a special place in my heart for musicians, not to mention JD plays the guitar---oops, did I mention that?? Here I go again. pirate:
2 more days!!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :woohoo: :woohoo: Are you going to make it?? I would bake him his favorite cake for when he gets home, or whatever he likes--but I'm sure you already thought of that. So exciting to have your little man home again. Are you getting ready for the wedding??

Amber--congrats on getting your preferred time and day!!! The Candlelight Processional package----is this where you eat dinner beforehand, then go over to the concert?? I remember doing the show in 2000 but not the dinner part. Where will you eat dinner?? Do you know who the guest narrator is?? Ooops, I just read the answers--NEVER MIND. I sound like Gilda Radner as Rosanne Rosannadana----on the original SNL--but you're probably too young to remember. :p You'll have a great time.

Pozey----
Happy Hump Day everyone
Well I NEVER!! :sad2: J/K--gotta remember who you're talking to. :lmao: :lmao:

You're Colten is very handsome, as well---we have some beautiful families here in our cliqueless group!!! The enlarged freckle is barely noticable, but we are our own worst critics. If it bothers him and effects his self-esteem you are right for looking into getting it removed. When did he become aware of and self conscious about it?? Recently, or has it bothered him for a while??

Good luck at the derm. and at your teachers' meetings.

P.S. Chase is a cutie too--but we've seen him before, right?? Beautiful eyes on both Colten and Chase!!

OMG---I think there is an epidemic of blue tongue-y-ness!!!!!!!!!!! Is there an antidote???? HEEEEEELP US!!!

Lyzziesmomma---
No I was not drunk, despite what it may look like!
suuuuuuure you weren't. would you like to tell us another?? ;) ;)

just joshin' with ya. pirate:

What were you drinking, btw?? Looks good!!

and of course Emma and Lyzzie are as cute as can be!!! Not saying anything about the third blue-tongued chick because we would not want her to get a big head and I am still holding a teeny grudge about someone in her tub. pirate: :teeth: double-cheek air kiss.

YM---BAAAABE!!!!! WHAT'S UP???? Why do you say you are boring with green eyes and blue eyes?? I think eyes are one of the most attractive features on a person. It seems that I always notice eyes. :confused3
Now I am picturing your oldest DS as a little you. Oh, wait, just one minute----is that YOU???? I can barely see--adjusting my screen--can you take your hat off so I can see better??---OMG--you totally remind me of one of my clients!!!!! Don't worry, this is a good thing!! :sunny: Once again--a darling family!!

Nicole--you are so correct in advising resort hopping during the holidays. They are all sooo beautiful!!! WL is amazing, as well as GF!! The YC and BC have some interesting decorations, as well---if I recall a chocolate carousel in the BC?? Someone correct me if I am wrong. But, all are so lovely.
I hotel hop anytime of year anyway, just because I am a hotel FREAK.

Miss Ashley---did I hear the word cravings??? hmmm.

Angela--glad to hear Conner was able to go back to school. Is he fearful of the playground now, or is he pretty unscathed like most boys his age?? Makes me shudder everytime I think of those photos. Poor little guy!!

Hi to Donna, MImom (hope you're having a great time), Lesa/Gracie, April, ?????????? mental block-----hi to everyone else whom I have so spacily forgotten. HI

Okay, I have a sweet story to share--makes my heart go all a-flutter.

I don't know if you remember, but the other day I mentioned that my sister had to have her dog put to sleep--his name was Willie (the Weimereiner--catchy, huh??). Anyway, they also had a mixed rescue dog that they raised for over ten years (Mel) who passed away last fall.

So, today, my mom had lunch with my niece and nephew up at school and she mentioned something about Willie and my nephew (5) says, "how did you know that Willie is in heaven??" My mom responded that his mommy told her, then my nephew proceeds to say, "yeah, Mel was waiting up there for Willie--he was waiting in a rocking chair." :sad1: gulp

First of all, it amazes me where kids come up with the things they do.

Second of all, I am going to miss them soooo much!!! Only two more weeks.

POZEY---

I forgot I wanted to share this story with you ------you'll appreciate this one.

The other night I had a dinner to attend at one of my co-worker's house. We all ate dinner, which was fine and then she announces that she has chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert. Sound good so far?? Well, as we are clearing dinner plates to get ready for dessert she says that the recipe called for some "spring" pan--and she didn't have one so she made it in a different pan. My eyes are getting bigger and bigger----"you mean a springform pan", I asked?? "yeah, that's it", she answers. So, she goes to the fridge and starts walking towards us with her cheesecake in...............................

are you ready for this one................

go sit down..............

A PYREX GLASS BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Insert smilie with her face in her hands shaking her head.

Guess what she's getting for Christmas??

Hello girls and guy. Everytime I think I have my cheat cheat down pat I realize I am missing so much  . It is coming along though

All the blue tounges are great!!! :teeth: You know something is delicous when your tounge gets stained! I use to love getting those huge gumballs from the machines bc they did just that.

I am jealous of those of you that get to go to disney for the holidays. We are so close being in south FL but with school starting I know we won't be going. Another time. I will live it out through all of you.

Ok so I have had a song in my head all day and I am going to sing it for you now..........

Sweet Caroline
(bah bah bah)
Good Times Never Seemed So Good
(so good so goo so good)

Aaaaack, pixie, that Sweet Caroline song brings back weird memories! When I lived in FL I used to go to karaoke a lot, and there was this guy that worked in the kitchen of one bar we'd go to (it later changed to a gay bar, but that's not part of this story). Anyway, this guy was a bit, um, shall we say.... mentally challenged. I mean he could work and at first you'd think he was okay, but then you'd realize that he didn't really understand money or social skills, little things like that. Anyhooo, (gosh I hate when people say that), he was a little smitten with me because I was nice to him, as I try to be to everyone. This guy loved to sing, but he would only sing Neil Diamond songs. One night he sang Sweet Caroline, really really REALLY off-key, and asked me how it sounded. I said, "oh it was definitely you. Very memorable." From that moment on, he seemed to think it was "our song" and would sing it to me, like on his knees in front of me. Yikes.

2x2s... I have no idea what I was drinking. It was at Universal in the Jurassic Park area, it was blue and frozen, and it was full of rum. Delicious. However, it was the only one I had, hence the "not drunk" comment. I was up since 3:30 am that morning, it was our arrival day, and my makeup had been MIA for several hours already. Lyzzie's drink, btw, was the same thing minus the rum. Emma's picture was actually on a different day here in KC at Worlds of Fun, she had been eating blue cotton candy all day.

YM, boring eyes? I think not. My family has blue eyes. All of us. Me, Lyzzie, Emma, both my parents (well Dad's are blue/hazel, but I digress), my brother, all 4 of my grandparents, all 10 of my natural aunts & uncles. Who says blue is the recessive gene? Not in my family! Emma is 1/2 mexican, doesn't she look it with her blondish hair and blue, blue eyes?

Hello, Mel! (the DISer, not the dearly departed dog) Wow, I didn't even realize we'd hit over 160 pages, thanks for noticing us! We are all introverted here too, can't you tell?? Jump right on in, the water's fine!

And speaking of water.... *^&%&*(^()*&ing oceangram!! 'nuff said.

Still speaking of water... found Emma washing her pacifier this evening... in the toilet. I was a little skeeved out, to say the least. Let's just say she's got a binky full of soap to sleep with tonight.

2xcited - I love your stories! I am a dolt in the kitchen, but even I know what a springform pan is! I may not own one, but I know what it is. Sheesh.

1st day of school for Lyzzie tomorrow! She is so excited. Went to meet her teacher today... chaos. She's thrilled -- her new teacher's first name is Elizabeth. (spelled "wrong" of course) Most of her friends are not in her class, but I think they break them up on purpose, it's good for the kids. Y'know, not to form cliques and such. We all know how they can be.

Lyzziesmom - what a great karaoke story. I love doing karoake I figure I am always making a fool of myself so I fit right in :rotfl2:
