I had the camera out to take pictures of the kids doing fireworks last night, but I ended up lighting most of them myself.

That's why the only fireworks pictures I have are the sparklers, and even for those I had to beg my dad to light them. My mom is too afraid to get anywhere near them, and my dad doesn't really pay attention to what the kids are doing - I still had to throw the camera down when he pointed Lyzzie in the direction of the spot where Emma was running right towards.

What kind of camera and what kind of card. My camera uses Compact Flash cards.

I have four (4) 1 Gig cards. But I found a 2 Gig card on Ebay for less than $20, so I bid and won it. So, with shipping, it was about $25 for a 2 gig card.

It's a Sony Cybershot DSC-S650, and the kind of card I need is a memory stick Pro Duo. I just bought a 1 gig card from the site Amber suggested, but want to buy at least one more before my trip.

Good morning and Happy 1st anniversary cliqueless crew! I was a bit late joining and my post was actually a post to Michele because I knew she frequented this thread and that was/is the only way I ever get to talk to her. So essentially I was stalking her until she gave me away!

I am watching Madison's friend from across the street this summer. Today is the first day I have had her since our trip. Well she has been here since 7 and already I think they are on fight #4. I swear girls!!!

Donna....We could all were our purses with our Disney jackets! Won't we look cute!

Like Michele said it was so cool meeting Divine in person!! We both squealed like little girls. She is the most graceful person I have ever met.

Lizziesmom...The girls look like they enjoyed the fireworks. We did nothing that resembled the 4th of July. I painted, and then we went to see Ratatouille.

Amber: I'd heard rumors of the wand coming down for a few months now, but I'm so happy to see it's official! I guess I don't HATE it the way some people do, I just don't think it looks like it belongs. I'm sure they'll put up something new for Epcot's 25th though. I just hope it looks better. I liked the "2000" they had up there, maybe because it was new & different and not meant to be permanent.

I see you got a new tag from the odd habits thread! I think I must be out of room for new tags, because I said a lot of weird stuff over there (and elsewhere) and nothin'. That's ok though, I like my tags!

Linda: Hope you feel better soon. You must not be feeling TOO bad if you can still plan!

Lesa: I know what you mean about the girls fighting. Lyzzie's best friend is away for a month right now, but usually my mom watches her and after a day or two they really need a break from each other before they tear each other's throats out. I couldn't do it, I'd be sending them outside and telling them not to come back unless there's blood -- and I don't mean 1 or 2 drops!

Thanks for pointing out the tag! I stopped looking, because I figured I would never get one. They even colorized "Mike's Princess"


I have never seen SE without the wand (except in pictures). I don't hate the wand, but I do like the look without it. It's more classic (same with the castle; the gold was neat, but I'm a traditionalist).

I never really hated the wand either. It didn't bother me as much as some others. Same with the Sorcerer Mickey Hat in MGM. I like it. Some HATE it.

I like the hat at MGM, I just wish they'd have put it somewhere else. I really loved walking down the street and seeing the Chinese theater at the end, it seemed to fit so well with the theme and was a great focal point. The hat, while very cute and fitting for MGM, just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the street where the plunked it down.

As far as the castle, I liked the gold on it and would have liked to see some of it stay. I thought the mirror on the front was gaudy, and if they'd left ALL the gold it was a bit much. But I really liked the little gold characters, like Peter Pan & friends flying around the castle, and was sorry to see them go.

Amber...love the tag I like the wand...but its no biggie to me..maybe they'll come up w/something better sometime anyway

The first time I saw the castle it looked like a huge b-day cake...so I was happy to see the REAL thing !!

Aaack! I spoke too soon... I DID get a new tag from the odd habits thread! I like it, and the TF was nice enough to keep with my pretty pastel colors theme.


ETA: I'm glad I kept my hiney tag - it was my first and I'm weirdly proud of it.

Hi everyone!!!!

Whew, I was thinking that was going to be the next picture.

I don't think so!!!!! Love the pics!! Those girls are adorable. ETA, Congrats on the new tag!!!! I love my first two- but I could get a new one and replace the love bugs one But I'm not complaining- I've seen people get ALL their tags taken away because they complained about them!!

The party is Friday the 13th. And we are going gambling the next day.

I love to gamble! (thats not a good thing) It's good I'm not living in South Florida now, before we moved I was going to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino all the time to gamble!! Now its not so bad because I only go when I visit. I do have pretty good luck though

Does anyone know where I can buy a memory card for a decent price? I need a new card for my camera that I bought the other day.

Did everyone see that WDW is getting rid of the Epcot wand?

I liked the look of the wand, but it will be fun to see something new. I am sad about Spaceship Earth being renovated though I'm not sure if they are updating it or changing it, but I've always loved the ride and the song at the end. I even have it on my MP3 player!!

And congrats on the new tag! I love it!!

Well, I changed our CP lunch to San Angel. If we still get to go in Sept (please cross your fingers ) then that day is the first day of the F&W. I want to at least experience a little bit of it. We may try to hop over for the MNSSHP too. It's our last day, so I want to make it count.

Thanks ...according to TGM we only have 164 days to go I'm sure it will be here before we know it. Yesterday we went to Charles Mill Lake where our friends have their rv parked...and had a cookout. It was fun to sit around and socialize. A few of Kennys buddies were there so he was having a blast. Jenny was telling me how they went to the local pizza place and her boys kept going to the bathroom over and over...come to find out there were Playboy pix taped all over the walls Mason cracks up and tells his dad that "there are some pretty hot chicks in there" omg...BOYS!!! So...they got up and left. I'm so glad we weren't there!!! Now we're talking about a girls only Cedar Point trip that would be fun! You didn't even watch fireworks??? I don't remember watching any last year...but I woke Kenny up last night for them. He loved it.

Yeah, and coming from a 5 year old...oh my!!
164 days and counting... Sept. 1st we have The Lion King musical to look forward to first, so that helps and then w/this being over Christmas I can plan what all I want to bake and bring down w/us..and what decorations to take... that'll take awhile. It'll be better when we get to double digits
