Good morning!
I'm enjoying a quiet morning before the gang all wake up. Today we have to finish putting the rooms back together from the carpet install. We talked about trying to go downtown (Chicago) to see the fireworks tonight, but after they announced how many people are supposed to be there

we decided we have had enough of crowds and they won't match up with our Wishes fireworks anyway!
Michele and Lesa!!! WELCOME BACK!!!!
Michele:: Your family pictures are all wonderful!!! It was especially nice to see Miss Lilly enjoying herself at WDW and seeing a pic of your mom for the first time!!!
Lesa:: Sorry you're still having issues with your contractors! Yeah....Welcome Home.
Oh, I almost forgot....the Wishes Cruise sounds fantastic!!! Maybe something to keep in mind for a future Cliqueless Meet!!
Nathan and Gary were just outside and I heard a lot of yelling and the name "Buddy" (our dog) repeated quite a bit. It seems Gary pried a live baby rabbit out of Buddy's mouth. The rabbit was fine and Nathan encouraged it to hop away to a wooded area behind our house. Buddy is now being fed a hot dog as a reward for spitting out the bunny.
Good dog, Buddy!!! (ETA: for letting the bunny go!) That is Gracie's dream in life to catch herself a bunny.

Most of the babies have grown up and pretty much learned to stay out of the yard, so now we are working on catching Chip and Dale.

I've never seen chipmunks run so fast across the yard and up and over a fence in record time squawking the whole time!
I think I'm about to flip here!!! I just checked out Disneyworld.com and it's showing a rate of $254 for the Poly for our time frame. (7/07 to 8/03) I am paying $221/night for the WL. WOW!!! Should I check into this?? Gary and Nathan were really looking forward to the WL, but to be on the monarail circuit would be great!!!
I may have to run this by my "Disney Vacation Planner in Training"!! (Nathan)
I'll be thinking about this all day long!!!
Any opinions???
I would have to say GO FOR THE POLY!!!

What a great deal!!! I loved staying at WL, but I would say the experience at the Poly would be a better one IMO!

You could always go over and visit WL!
Linda....Your Disney plans sound wonderful! I am in awe that you are able to plan this far in advance. I'm a last minute girl! I have used TGM for our last 2 trips. I only use it for the important stuff such as which parks to stay far away from on which days. We didn't follow it that closely this trip, actually we were lucky to do all the things with did with 12 and a baby!

Our last trip though proved invaluable. We went with friends that weren't friends by the time we went and I didn't tell them I used him. We literally did everything and then some with no waiting and they spent most of their time waiting in lines.
YM....Feel better soon! I agree with Donna, all that rain is not helping matters. How is your son doing? Funny thing, as soon as the plane landed in Detroit, Madison started back with her coughing and wheezing. David said the same thing, his asthma improves when we are in Florida.
Pozey....I love your pictures, they are beautiful! Sounds like your family had a great time! I love the last picture of the kids all wiped out, I have a few of those with Madison. She wants me to erase them.

$40 at McDonald's!

Holy smokes batman! I hope they were at least better tasting than the "average" McDonalds!!!
Lin.....Good luck with your test results!

I'm sure you did well!
Dznyfan....Erin sounds like she is enjoying her job. Michele and I worked at TDS many years ago. It sure has changed since then.
I got a thing in the mail yesterday inviting DVC members to a preview of Disney's Doorway To Dreams opening up at the Woodfield Mall. It is the first of its kind to open and sell DVC outside of WDW. I really want to check it out. They are previewing AKV. Mickey and friends will be there.
We had neighbors taking care of Gracie while we were gone. We came home to the blinds eaten, the door frame chewed and a few of Madison's Poly Pockets eaten, but all in all they all said how good she was and how much they all fell in love with her. They said they would have her outside with them and she only tired to run away once and she listens so well! I had to ask them if we were talking about the same dog!!!

They all said (we had 3 different neighbors watching her at different times) they had her out without her leash and she stayed right next to them. We come home and the first thing she does is sneaks out the door and runs down the street and wouldn't come.

Damn Dog!!!
