I love you guys. You make me feel so normal! Everyone else IRL thinks I'm nuts with the Disney obsession , but not here! :thumbsup2 (thumb)

I feel the same way. Mike is pretty used to me by now, but everyone else thinks I'm crazy (although, guess who everyone comes to when they need help  ).

I haven't done much planning thought for Sept. I do have ADR's, but other than that, nothing really. It's still up in the air if we are going, so I don't want to do much planning and then have to cancel. :guilty:

omg I'm so excited...I just booked our trip:dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :cool1:  I don't know if I should try to surprise Mike w/where we're staying.... I booked 3 nights at SOG and 7 nights at the Poly!!!:cloud9: :woohoo: I'm SO excited!!! YM... Poly w/tax was $297 a night...but if we're lucky enough to get a code, or I thought about getting an ap..maybe a code for that will come up???:cheer2:

I love you guys too b/c he hears me says... lyzziesmom is at wdw..and she's going again in xxx and dznyfan is at wdw and she's going again in xxx, and Donna is going again in xxx, and Michele and Lesa are there NOW for 2 weeks, and so and so and so and so....:lmao: then he see's I'm NOT the only one that wants to go, and does go more than once a year:woohoo: I'm not as obsessed as he thought...or I am, but I'm not alone:rotfl2:

I couldn't have said it better! :flower3:

I want to stay there so bad.

You hit the nail on the head with that one. It's the same way with my parents, they thought it was only me until I found you guys.

good thing the tag fairy doesn't hang out here:rolleyes1

Careful, I think she's been here once or twice! Didn't Ashley get tagged from here? And if I remember right, it was a while after she said it too, not right away. I know I've said some doozies! One of these days I mean to go through some of my old posts and make a list of all the "tagworthy" things I've said, just for kicks. I'm sure there's some weird stuff in there!

Wow, a week at Poly, how fun!! You could have Tonga Toast for breakfast from room service, just imagine. That looks like a pretty good rate. This weekend at the Super 8 I just kept thinking, "This is ok but man, for the same price I could be at a value at WDW, and for the same price I'll be at SSR in a couple months!" BUT 1/2 a tank of gas, you can't beat that for transportation costs. I sure do miss being that close to WDW... but that's ALL I miss about Florida. They can keep the heat & humidity! You'll have to take a ton of pics at the Poly (duh, look who I'm talking to!). I remember being a kid and seeing it from the monorail, and I always imagined hula dancers outside every room and that the rooms were all little individual straw huts on the beach. :lmao:

I didn't think it was too bad:woohoo: Merry Christmas to me:rotfl2: I'm excited about Ohana, and Kona Cafe finally getting some darn Tonga Toast:lmao: and hopping on the monorail being right there :cloud9: I can see I won't be able to sleep much tonight:rotfl:

I just got an email from Buy.com They have 4 1GB SD cards for $41.95, free shipping, and a $14 mail in rebate. If you use Goggle checkout, you save another $10.

I just ordered a set.

Here's the link:

cool!! Thanks Amber! I may need a few more of those...I got 2 8gb, but to be honest, I dont' know how many pix they will hold...or if that will be enough for our trip:rolleyes1

Amber! I'm trying to save money here and you are NOT helping!! I'm going to have to buy those... that's just too good of a deal to pass up. Can you use Google checkout with a new email address & new credit card but the same shipping address you've used before and still get the discount? I used them once for Disney Crocs but I want that $10 off... it makes the cards under $5.00 each.

Linda, my 2GB hold about 700 pictures. I don't shoot in RAW so it takes up less space.

Yes. I won't tell you how many Google accounts I have made up just for the discounts. :rolleyes1 I believe you can even use the same credit card.

oh yeah, it was about the love bugs! I can't wait to watch Wishes from a hammock on the beach:cloud9: and the ewp!!!:woohoo: and moving from SOG to Poly will be really easy considering it's right across the street:yay: I can pretend we're going to Pop and then pull into Poly:lmao: that would be hilarious! 1/2 tank of gas is pretty good for travel costs!!! I'm going to watch and see if I can snag us $10 tix on skybus and get a rental car...but if that doesn't work...we can drive, no biggie. and Mike will be happy b/c he'll have his stinking coffee pot:rotfl2: his only request was NOT YC or GF... that's easy! he thinks they're too:snooty: for his taste on vacation...except to go eat ;)

oh...I should be ok then:rolleyes1 I hope...of all times in the world, that is not when I want to NEED a card:sad2: Kennys first trip to wdw...we just got off the 7 night cruise, headed to wdw... got maybe 50 pix and the batt. went dead, no charger, no spare... :sad1: I was so mad at myself!!! but thankfully we only had about another day or 2 left...so It was bad enough, but not the end of the world.

Linda, I know that feeling all too well. I now take several memory cards with me each day and a couple sets of batteries.

I was lucky this last time with batteries. I use Energizer Lithium (4 AA) and I only needed to change batteries once! We had gone to Sams and bought several packs of 12 for $20 each, but I didn't need them.

Oh, a tip I heard was to not fill your memory card completely up. Somestimes if it's completely filled it can be corrputed. So, just leave a little room (of course, I have filled mine completely before).

I'll have to watch that. I'm taking the charger this time ;) no repeat problems!! I hate to wish summer away...but I can't wait!!!

Kenny just called saying he's so excited about us going to Cedar Point in the morning:cloud9: I can't wait to see how he does:cheer2:

Cedar Point sounds like so much fun! Lyzzie liked our little "road trip" so much that she wants to go to St. Louis now to ride the coasters at 6 Flags... only if I can get my parents to go with or to watch Emma, otherwise we can't ride anything but the baby rides.

Another tip I heard is every time you erase your memory card, reformat it to help keep it from corrupting. Remember I lost all my pictures a while ago? I got most of them back thank goodness! I've been reformatting every time since then and no problems with that same card. I also try to remember to erase the pictures once I transfer them to the computer, otherwise I was keeping some in there and then shooting more and just transferring the new ones, I think all that copying only some of them at a time messes it up in the long run.

I just checked my credit card account and I spent a lot less over the weekend than I thought! I use my MyPoints card so I can get the points, and then (in theory) pay it off right away. So far I've got enough points for a $50 Target gift card and I'm holding out for a $100 card -- wish they did Disney Dollars though!

Linda, MVMCP huh? You're going to have so much fun! The only hard-ticket party I've done was the P&PP in Feb... and doing it again in Sept. on the last day. I really liked it! I love the parks at night, and the whole theme and treasure hunt makes it feel like a different place. I'd love to do all the parties -- someday!
