Lyzziesmom - the pics are great, it looks like you are having a wonderful time. I read the story about the woman falling on the stroller... WTH? "I'm OK???? Well, yeah, good for you, but what about my KID? and the fact that you broke my stroller?
OK, better now.... that just hacked me off.

Oh I know, it was just crazy. I was too shocked to say much of anything, just stood there with the stroller parts in one hand and holding Emma in the other, silently shooting daggers at that idiot woman. I mumbled something about at least nobody was hurt except my expensive stroller. Later I thought of a million things I should have done, including calling loudly for security. The main part that broke was plastic and holds the safety bar/snack tray in place, I'm hoping some epoxy will do the trick. I'm more ticked off that she didn't even seem to care that she just fell on a baby! I would have been absolutely mortified had I done that.

Welcome back! How was your trip?

The trip went GREAT!!!

For not knowing exactly how to plan and prepare for this trip like I do for Disney trips..........I would have to say I did VERY WELL in planning the trip. Everything went smooth and there were very few disappointments.

I'll try to prepare a trip report (which will pale in comparison to DznyFan's).

Awww... Really, I just love to write...

I took A LOT of pictures!! 5 GIG worth of pictures......

However, I have only been able to upload 1 card's worth of pictures to my laptop. And only a few to photobucket. In fact, I have not even looked at most of the pictures to see how they came out. I'm not sure if I truly captured the beautiful colors of the Grand Canyon.

Linda: Those pictures are too funny! Especially the boys picking everything they can. Lyzzie's been going through a phase where she picks everything too, and then she gets mad when I call her out on it. Sorry, but if you've got your hand down your pants in public I'm going to say something!

you could sign John Doe for all they cared, as long as they had a signed paper for every transaction they were covered. Sort of defeats the purpose, I think!

The girls are in their beds just chattering away, telling stories & singing songs. It's so cute to eavesdrop and I hate to shush them! Emma keeps yelling "Action Fingers!" (from a show they like to watch, a spoof on action figures) and Lyzzie yelled, "No, it's Action Nose!" Boy would I have loved to see the gestures that accompany that one.

but it's kind of nice to appear to be "hard to get." Man I hate this stuff. It would be great if things could work out eventually... who knows?

Did you guys see that? I turned down an offer for FREE ICE CREAM! I must be more tired than I thought.

I remember lying awake talking to my sister for hours too, some of our best memories! good luck w/the exbf. Yes, I saw that...we're witnesses... you turned down free ice cream Mike ran and got DQ the other night really hit the spot! That way I got to stay in my jammies too otherwise I would have passed too

Thanks! I'm hoping to be able to edit that lion picture so you can't even tell there's glass there - I love the way it looks like they are looking right at each other! That's the funny thing... that idiot woman wasn't even on the phone, she just took a couple steps backward for NO reason, we had been standing there a minute or two and were talking loudly so it's not like she didn't see/hear us. From the looks of her, she might have been a little "slow" but she was in a group of people - family? - and not a single one of them said anything either. I had to try really hard not to let it ruin our trip. But later Emma was sleeping in her stroller, and she usually puts her feet over the bar that is now broken off, but since it's gone she just kept scooting up until her head poked out the back of the stroller. It almost tipped over backwards because the weight distribution was all wrong - if that'd happened she would have been very badly hurt! Geez, I thought I was over it but I'm still really mad... mostly mad at myself for not screaming at her. I just sat there stunned like a dope.

So how much planning have you done so far for the Xmas trip? I'd have probably had it nearly done by now! When I get an idea in my head, especially for WDW, I can't let it go and must make plans ASAP!!

Emma didn't want to sleep alone after sharing the hotel bed w/Lyzzie for two nights, so she took her blankie & Minnie Mouse and climbed into bed with Lyzzie! So cute. Lyzzie was going to let her stay, but Emma likes to spoon and Lyzzie doesn't. I think they must have slept that way for a while (even though they deny it) because it was quiet in there for almost an hour before that. Those girls were pretty crabby this morning though... I'm glad to be at work and not home with them today!

I love you guys too b/c he hears me says... lyzziesmom is at wdw..and she's going again in xxx and dznyfan is at wdw and she's going again in xxx, and Donna is going again in xxx, and Michele and Lesa are there NOW for 2 weeks, and so and so and so and so.... then he see's I'm NOT the only one that wants to go, and does go more than once a year I'm not as obsessed as he thought...or I am, but I'm not alone
