Linda, we loved it when we stayed at WL. I think the rooms at OKW are larger.

Michele, we are going to try to be over there about 5.:scared1:

Linda: I've heard the beds at SSR (and all the DVCs) are really comfy! But I'm sure it depends on what's "comfy" for each person. To me, the value beds are way too hard, but I can't take too soft either. Will ya listen to me, I'm like Goldilocks when it comes to beds! Mine at home used to be just right, until it developed a dent in the middle - oops. I keep meaning to ask my mom to help me flip it, I just can't do it on my own and I keep forgetting to ask for help. The only time I think about it is when I'm sleeping, or more accurately NOT sleeping, on it. I really hope the SSR beds are as comfy as I've read about - of course after a day at WDW the way we do it, I could sleep on just about anything. Ahhhhh, I'm really looking forward to a nice lukewarm soak in the hottub with the jets blasting my back & feet, and then climbing into a nice firm bed with soft covers... and the best part, waking up and still being in WDW!!

Three months of DVC points? Holy crap! I'd go broke from the food prices but that would be so awesome! I'd probably rather split it up into a whole bunch of weeks here & there... can you just imagine the possibilities?

Donna: I didn't like the tiki shirts when I first saw them, but they kind of grew on me. Darn that Disney! Now they have new "surf shop" tshirts that were really cute, sort of a pencil-drawn style, but the kids didn't like them. I might have to get some anyway though if they go on sale. ;)

so true...after a day at wdw I'm OUT...but Mike has such a hard time w/his back that I know if he's comfortable...I'll be able to talk him into going more often:lmao: yeah, can you even IMAGINE 3 months at wdw:cloud9: unreal!! they stayed Jan-Mar... I even went to the ABC websites to see what kind of jobs were available for the discount:rotfl: I know...I'm totally pathetic and really have a one track mind:rolleyes1 ahhh waking up at wdw:cloud9:  :cloud9: that REALLY sounds great!!!

Ensenada Chicken=Two tender, juicy charbroiled chicken breasts basted with a zesty Mexican blend of seasonings, then charbroiled and bursting with Baja-style flavor.

YM:: I would probably drive and stay longer. Would weather be a problem for driving that time of year?

Donna...did you steal a menu...nice description...s ounds yummy. It could be a problem but only a slim chance. We have had a few big snowstorms before xmas. It's all south from Tulsa...that's the good news.:woohoo:

So far we have stayed at OKW, Boardwalk and Vero and I have to say I love the mattresses!! Very comfy!!

Well I am off to bed soon...if I don't get a chance in the morning I will 'see' you all real soon. Blake is bringing his laptop so I can burn my pics onto a cd. Hopefully I will be able to sign on a few times to check in with everyone!

Bye!!!:woohoo:

Hey Michele :woohoo: :woohoo: Blake's bringing the laptop...maybe one afternoon while Lilly is napping you can sneak us an update. HAVE FUN!

I bet they are. I'm still drooling over the 1 bdrm at OKW on the online tour! I think we'd like BWV and BCV too. I think my boss is going to buy at BWV mostly b/c the location being able to walk to Epcot and MGM...and ESPN of coarse :rotfl:

Good night, ladies!!:rolleyes1:teeth:

Lyzziesmom, is the border you like the black and white photo border? I LOVE that and want to buy it, but don't have a room it would work in.

That's the one! I just love it, it looks so classic. There are some accessories that would go nicely in there too, like hand towels and bath mats and even a gorgeous wall mirror - I keep meaning to measure to see if it would fit. There are Mickey-head knobs that would go great on my wall cabinet above the toilet. See, I've got it all planned out! I'm trying to talk my dad into tearing out the tile and putting in some white wainscoting - it's only in the backsplash area behind the sink and on the two walls next to it, so it's really only about 5 square feet of tile, shouldn't be too big of a job, right? The colors of the tile truly are awful... there is nothing that would take away the 80s look. It's sort of mauve and pale slate-blue. Blecch! :scared: Since it's such a tiny bathroom, you can't use simple distractions. I mean if you're sitting on the pot, you can reach the sink in front of you, the window next to you, and the door on the the other side, all without getting up. Tiny!

Took me a while to find it, but here it is!

Ohhhh, now that itinerary looks familiar! I will have to try scheduling cry-time into our plans... think that would go over well with the girls? "Sorry you can't cry right now, that's not on the itinerary until tomorrow." :rotfl:

eta...oops, you might have been talking to Michele and Lesa LOL... sorry, 1/2 asleep here!!

Will you people stop posting already so I can quit reading and replying and just watch my movie and get to bed?? ;)

Linda, good luck with the sale of the duplex!!! As for your mattress question: I have a ruptured disc between L4 and L5, and on my home mattress I have to sleep on my side or I'm in horrible pain the next day. Old Key West beds? I stretch out on my back and snooze the night away and feel great afterward! I LOVE their mattresses and pillows.

Well...is everyone off to bed. That was a fast little party. I'm going to check in to the cost of a longer stay verses flying and then see what DH wants to do.:thumbsup2

Hi everyone!!!!

Whew, everyone has been posting alot!!! Looks like I missed out on the party.

Today Jeremiah & I went to the mall and I got two new bras (:teeth: I'm not sure guys want to read about this) I got a really good deal at Macy's so I was happy. I think I've lost some weight so the ones I had were too big!! Times like that though, I wish I had a girlfriend to go shop with me because Jeremiah is not very helpful :rolleyes1 He likes to find the prettiest most clevage-y looking ones which I don't think would be very comfortable :rolleyes1 Also, a new Yankee Candle opened and they had some great grand opening sales. I got some tarts and a tart warmer thing.

They are having some great deals at Bath & Body Works if anybody wants to go, by the way! They are discontinuing the scent of bodywash that Jeremiah likes (he would be mad if he thought anybody knew he used bodywash from there :lmao: ) so we stocked up on that. Apparently its a summer scent so if he runs out, (which I'm sure he will, we only got two bottles!) he's outta luck until next Summer!. Maybe we should go back tomorrow and get some more.

Lyzziesmom- I thought Transamerica was really good!!! Hope you like it.

Ashley: I went to Yankee Candle today too! Got a tart warmer for only $7.00 (woohoo!) and 6 tarts plus a 3-pack of cute little 3D tarts, even though I already have a drawer full, I "needed" one for my bedroom. All that was only $16.00 - I paid 20 for my first tart warmer alone! It took a LOT of self-control not to stock up, but it helped that Emma was getting a little on the wild side, she kept bringing me the tiny jar candles asking me to open them so she could smell them. I was so afraid she was going to drop them or knock over a display, she's like a bull in a china shop!

I wanted to go bra shopping too, I desperately need new ones. I only have three and they are all over a year old. The underwires are starting to poke out and they just don't fit right, but I hate shopping for them and didn't feel up to it with the kids along. Lyzzie was being good but I had to keep chasing after Emma and you can't do that while getting sized for and trying on bras!! I'd shop with you Ashley if we lived closer! Maybe I'll go during the week at lunchtime. I really need to get measured, I'm tired of trying on 5 different sizes in 10 different brands/styes and still nothing fits right. Ugh!! Hate the darn things, but its pretty scary if I go without. TMI, I know!!

I got caught up reading a TR from SSR with a ton of great pictures, now it's too late to watch my movie. I would just fall asleep, and since I don't have a DVD player in my bedroom I'd stiffen up horribly from sleeping on the couch. I could always hook up the portable DVD, but the remote doesn't work, plus it's distracting to see the picture on the little screen at the same time.

It must be bedtime, I'm rambling much more than usual, and about bras and DVDs of all things!!

Lyzziesmom, I got a tart warmer for $7 too! They must be having that sale all over. I was pretty excited because I thought they were much more expensive and I didn't think I would get one today. I was resisting stocking up but this was my first time at the store so I got a whole bunch of tarts in different scents. They had a sale where all the tarts were $1 each. We ended up leaving and only spending about $15. I was happy with that!!

I hope I got the right bra size. It seemed like it! ? I hate getting measured by the people at the store so I skipped that today!

Your half asleep! It only dawned on me what time it was on the clock.:rotfl2: Donna, you must have a computer full of clipart!:lmao:

Will you look at the time!! I have been up for over an hour now. :sad2: I guess I'm 2excited2slp!!!:rolleyes1

Our flight is just over 4 hours from now. :yay: I think we're going to go to Epcot this afternoon. I ordered the DDE card and have to pick up my voucher at Epcot guest services. Then we will head on over to have dinner at Chef Mickey's!:woohoo: The rest of the week we will just play it by ear. I know it is going to be buuuuusssssyyyyyyy!!:headache: I still can't believe we are going to be gone for 2 weeks, but I soooo need this vacation!

I guess I shall hop in the shower before the rest of the gang gets up.

But before I go..........................

Happy Father's Day to all our cliqueless dads!:cheer2: :dance3: :yay:

Bye guys!:hourglass

Well, I guess that Michele, Lesa and their families are in the air, flying to WDW as I post!!! I wish it was July 27th already, but my mother would say I was just wishing my life away.
I think we've been invited along to enjoy a fine breakfast on their plane.:woohoo:

I woke up this morning to the sound of the front door slamming shut -- not good. Scared the holy bejeepers of me. I yelled for Lyzzie a couple times, and no answer. Ran like a screaming banshee out of my room and down the hall, Emma's in her bed asleep but no Lyzzie. Turns out my parents were here fertilizing the lawn and nobody woke me up or told me they were here, and Lyzzie saw them out the window and just decided to go outside and say hi. Which is fine, but I think I scared it into her that she needs to tell me first! You guys know I live right down the street from where Kelsey Smith was abducted and killed, right? The Target we shop at is the one where she was taken. Anyway, I just can't stress enough to the kids, especially Lyzzie, that I need to know where they are AT ALL TIMES. I still feel shaky, and it was over an hour ago.

I see our WDW-headed friends got on their way this morning. (jealous!)

Donna: I haven't heard that wishing your life away saying, but I think I'm going to have to adopt it, I like it!

We need to make a Sam's run today, but that's about the extent of our plans. Have to stock up on SlimFast and there's a new Stephen King/Richard Bachman book out that I can't believe I missed the release date last week!! That's my other obsession, I always get his books on the first day. Oh well, I know they will still be first editions so that's good, but I could have been already done reading it! Grrrrrr!!

I forgot to mention that we got my dad a Snickers cake for Father's Day -- hey, the man is hard to shop for but he does love his sweets! -- and the kids of course can not keep a secret, so since they were here this morning we gave it to him. While I was headed to the fridge, Emma said, "Poppy, it's your Father's Day birthday so we got you a cake!" Eek.

It made a delicious breakfast.

Hi,guys!! I just baked Nathan some Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, now he is just laying on the couch being silly.

lyzziesmom:: The Snickers cake sounds yummy!!! One year when I was in California, we had a Snickers pie from a place called Molly's or Aunt Molly's?? It was very rich AND delicious!!
I had heard about Kelsey Smith getting abducted and at the time I had wondered how close you were. I had no idea you were actually THAT close. I would have been frantic, too!!! I'm sure Lyzzie wouldn't have gone outside had she not seen your parents.

YourMajesty:: Are you still thinking on you Dec. trip. I forgot you were eligilbe for SOG!!! You wanted to do the Dining Plan, though, right?? If it weren't for the DDP, I would definitely recommend driving and staying at SOG.
Didn't mean to disappear so fast last night, but my back and shoulders were starting to kill me!!:headache:

I really need to get motivated. Gary is oustside working on the lawn mower. He has requested hamburgers on the grill for his Father's Day meal. I counted the trip to Red Robin as a Father's Day present too, since I paid and all.
