I'm so bad... I was just looking at the passholder discounts and thinking "Hmmmm I wonder if I could squeeze in a weekend for Emma's birthday? (in 2 1/2 weeks)" NO! NO! and NO!!! However, if that $39 Ding comes along.... NO!! I still have to pay for my last trip... and the next one!! I think I have a problem, where is the nearest Disney Anonymous group I could join?
Hi........I'm pozey......and I have a problem.......

My problem??? I don't get to go to Disney World nearly enough!!!!

Hey there Ashley. I've been wondering how you're doing! I love getting new bedding and stuff to redecorate:cool1:

Mike just called and said Kenny is in TROUBLE!!! He's not allowed to take $ to school, of coarse ;) well, he snuck $2 into his backback and apparently bought a bic pen from some kid on the bus w/it:rolleyes1 and wrote all over his hands and had cat whiskers on his face when he got off the bus:lmao: I know its wrong, but it's still funny! He's losing his wallet and his tv til school is out.:rolleyes1

I'm really enjoying it, except the down blanket inside the duvet keeps bunching up :headache: Anybody know how to fix that??

I had the same problem. I put a few stitches in each corner to hold the comforter in place. Then, when I switched duvets, I just clipped the thread.

Yes Amber, there is one person who annoys me *cough*FC*cough* and that's about it! Don't get yourself banned over it.

I can't wait to see what you do with your garden statues! Correct me if I'm wrong, but a while back didn't you make a thread here about your neighbor's having a coffin in their yard? Whatever happened to that? Is it still there?

I don't want to get banned, so I do hold my tongue.

I did have a thread about a person with the coffin, although it is not my neighbor (they live in the next town). It is still there.

HOA thread??

How did you know. ;) You can tell me if I was wrong, but I don't think I am foolish. That person is such a PIA.

Oh, I know it... I was really trying not to laugh as he was telling me what he did!

Reminds me of the time I brought him to work with me. I had him go in the conference room and watch tv until I was done and we could leave. We have like 5 lines that ring in. Well, we get a call from one of our guys saying that some kid keeps ANSWERING the phone:scared1: just as Kenny comes around the corner and whispers in my ear...I answered ALL THE CALLS.:lmao: I lost it. I was laughing so hard I was crying. My boss thought it was hilarious too and we should just teach him how to put them on hold and he'd have a job:rotfl2: I'll never forget that..."I answered ALL the calls". It never even crossed my mind that he'd do that:rolleyes1 oops!!!!

Ashley: Lyzzie has a duvet cover too, because my mom bought her this horribly ugly comforter from Goodwill "it was BRAND NEW and CHEAP" "yes Mom, but it's U-G-L-Y!" so I got a duvet to cover up the ugliness. It kept bunching up and sliding around in there too. We ended up tufting it like a quilt - Mom sewed little pieces of yarn - about 2" long - through from front to back, and then back to the front so it made a little loop and tied the ends in a knot. She did this about a foot apart in a grid all over the cover. It looks like it's supposed to be that way, and I suppose they could be snipped if we wanted to change it. We also tried safety-pinning it along the edges on the inside, but that didn't really work so well because her cover is SO heavy. I like the idea of just sewing the corners, sounds much easier to change!

Linda: Kenny is a hoot! I would be mortified about both the pen and the phone calls, but I don't think I'd be able to stop laughing. Good thing your boss saw the humor in it!

I brought my camera in today and hopefully I'll have time to get my pictures downloaded. I do have some actual work I need to do today, y'know!!

The sewing idea sounds like it would work, but I have no idea how to sew  I think I'm one of the only people on the face of the planet who did bad in Home Ec because I couldn't do it correctly:rolleyes1 One of our assignments in class was to sew a stuffed animal together and the only requirement was it had to stay together and that didn't work out very well for me :rolleyes1

Oh, just a good guess....:rolleyes1

I have been kind of keeping up with that thread. Mainly because of my next door neighbor's yard.

I have never "spoken" to the person you speak of, but I have read many of her posts and I can see how she can come off as a PIA.

Oh, Linda - that is hilarious!!! Someone in our family was famous for always taking things to school that she wasn't supposed to, and always spent a good deal of time in trouble. To this day she still pushes that envelope from time to time, usually with a cell phone.
Answering all the calls - yep, been there, done that, got the t-shirt for that one, too! He is so funny!

Ashley - redecorating, how fun!

Amber - HOA thread? (I'm so curious...)

Ashley, you can do it by hand and it's super easy. Just thread the needle (tie a knot in the end) and then run it back and forth through fabric. When you have made a couple passes, then tie another knot and clip off the excess thread. If you get matching thread then no one will see if you make any mistakes (they also have clear thread).

pozey, I have spoken to her on several occassions and she is for the most part very snobbish. There are times that I agree with her, but her whole attitude just puts me off.

I'm sorry, I just had to laugh!:rotfl:

Off to go find that thread.....

 OMG Amber!!!! now I see what you're talking about. You're not a foolish!

I gotta run...Kennys last soccer game:cheer2:

You should read the threads where she puts down most of FL (apparently, Kissimmee is where all the poor people live) or where she will go on and on about how much money she has.

Good Luck Kenny!!! :cheer2:

Amber -- the reason I was kind of interested in the HOA thread is simply because of the house next door to mine.

Our neighborhood does not have a HOA, but we do have covenants that cover some things.

However, the covenants and a lack of HOA cannot prevent this from happening:

Now, the neighborhood we live in is not in the city limits, so calling the city does no good. And their yard is “tame” considering how much worse it will get as the summer goes along.

It is a shame. Everyone in our neighborhood keeps their houses looking nice......with this one being the most notable exception.

When the people living across the street were trying to sell their house a couple of years ago, they actually went over and asked if they (the people trying to sell their house) could mow their yard before having an open house.
