Another great memory DW and I have from a Disney trip also involves Alfredo’s. We went to Disney World with our two closest friends – a married couple we had known forever. They are really funny people – him especially. Anyway, he of course HAS to order the Fettuccini Alfredo – the house specialty. He had never had Fettuccini Alfredo. In fact, he had no idea what Alfredo sauce was. He was surprised at what Alfredo sauce was.

So, the waiter brings out the dishes and asks everyone if they wanted freshly grated Parmesan cheese. And his reaction to this day is often repeated in our household………he says to the waiter “Do I want more cheese on top of my cheese?”

How's everyon doing?

It's snowing, and I'm loving it! Snow is still new for me so the novelty has not worn off yet.

When I got home from work, DD13 was peeking out the storm door and waving at me. On the big back windsheild of our minivan, which was covered with snow, I wrote "Heather is a dork". I told her if she didn't like it, she'd have to get bundled up and go out there and fix it. I was laughing like a hyena. She's so self-conscious, I KNEW she'd be out there fixing it in a jiffy, and I was right. She crossed out her name and wrote in MOM. Of course I don't care, it's still on there. I'm sooooo glad I'm not 13 anymore and don't care so much about what other people think!!

Bonnie, When it started snowing today I had the opposite reaction!!! I hate it...I've lived here since 2004 and I'm still not used to it. That is pretty funny about your daughter though

Pozey, I was disappointed when I heard about Alfredo's because I've never gotten the chance to eat there. Jeremiah & I had reservations there in November 2004 but we ended up canceling because it was our last day and I wanted to go back to Magic Kingdom. I was thinking of adding it to our ADR's for September, but I guess I can't now. I'm the opposite of your FIL- I'm always late to go to bed, late to rise!!

Lyzziesmom, I wasn't even paying attention to what Jared was wearing. That's funny because normally thats the main thing I pain attention to. If I'm not interested in the song I just go back to reading the disboards. I agree about Sundance, I really like Pearl Jam but it did sound like he was trying to imitate them too much. I remember liking him in the begining, but I don't think he has been as good as when he first auditioned. I don't know what the teenage girls see in Sanjaya, unless they are jealous of his hair. I was even getting jealous for a second. Although he does have really nice teeth! My favorites are Blake and Chris Sligh too.

I've neve done a DCL cruise, but Linda and DznyFan are seasoned veterans. There is talk of an October '08 Cliquless Cruise meet.

It's quite a while away. It's hard for me to say this far in advance, but it will be the year for mine and DH's 20th wedding anniversary....I'm going to use that as an excuse to HAVE to go!!! (Maybe I'll take DH along if he promises to behave himelf. )

HI all!!

We just got back from dinner...Lilly had her first outing. Matt went to a basketball game but the rest of us, including my parents went to a local italian restaurant. Lilly slept thru the whole thing. Now Briana has a friend over who is feeding her, so she is happy.

Briana went back to school yesterday. Her morning class ended early so she did fine there, but she did say that sitting hurt after a while. Those chairs aren't exactly comfortable. When it was time for her afternoon class she was not feeling great, so she went in and met with her professor and explained. He gave her the assignment and let her go

Today went fine. My dad spent the night again. It snowed a lot last night, about 3 inches, and Lilly was supposed to go with Zach's mom this morning but my dad offered, actually begged , Briana to let him watch her this morning too. Bree didn't really want Lilly to have to go out in this weather so my dad stayed until Bree got home a little after 11.

Hi, Michele!! Sorry to hear Briana's days have been uncomfortable. When you said she was going back tp school, I tried to remeber how I felt 8 days after having Nathan. Sitting on hard chairs would have been a no-no!!!
That terrific dad of your came through again today!!! Sorry Lilly peed on your couch.

I rented Peter Pan today, I think Nathan and I are going to start watching it soon.

When I came down this morning my dad was sitting on the couch and tells me he made a little mistake last night. Well this got my attention!! Apparently he changed Lilly's diaper about 2:30 in the morning, he pulled the diaper out and she pooped on her outfit so he left her on the couch while he went to get a new outfit and she peed on the couch

I made nearly the same dinner last Sunday. Made a roast in the crock pot with some carrots. And peeled some yukon gold potatoes for mashed potatoes and gravy.

Still have a little left in the fridge for leftovers.
