Thanks Donna, what a beautiful view! I think I will sit out there and enjoy my morning coffee.:sunny:

Today in another day and I have a feeling it's going to be a good one! :hyper:

Both girls are home sick. Maddie is still wheezing so I'm glad she sees the dr again today.

Well there wasn't much chatting going on last night so I don't have anything to comment on. So a big hello to everyone!:wave2:

Amber-- I think that you are the one in West Virginia right? What part? We'll be moving to the Charleston area in May.

I'm in the Eastern Panhandle. It's been a long time since I've been in Southern WV. Be prepared, you will probably run into some towns that are reminiscent of movies such as Wrong Turn and Deliverance. :scared:

Donna, thank you so much for the lovely breakfast - look at it - it's SPRING!!

Dznyfan, are you getting excited for your trip?
I am THRILLED but have to get thru this $*&@ musical first. We leave 2 weeks from TODAY! :woohoo:

Ashely, I only watched bits and pices of AI, but I liked the first guy (Blake?). I love 311 and while I didn't love his version, I liked that he picked that song. I don't think Sanjaya was good at all and I didn't like Sundance last night.
Have a great day!!!
I'm with you on the Sanjaya and Sundance.
Pozey it sounds like you worked out a great compromise with Colton. :thumbsup2 (thumb)

Ya'll have a great day!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!!!

Mike is killing me. Last night he said that maybe we could go to WDW in Oct/Nov. (he couldn't do Dec, because of his job). I'm not sure if I can use the same code I used for my Dec quote, but I'm hoping I can. I would love to go to the F&W festival and MNSSHP. If I can't use the code, we'll probably stay at POP again or upgrade to CBR.

Go in November!!! The 15 thru the 19th to be exact!!! :teeth:

Have to share with you guys……

My father-in-law is staying with us during the week until they close on the house they sold and move in to the house they bought. They don’t close on their house that they sold until March 23rd, so they can’t close on the house they bought until then.

Anyway……he is officially retired, but he is doing contract work at the company in Tulsa he used to work for. He is a Design Engineer. So, he will be working a few days a week, and until they move into their new house, he’s staying with us.

He is the epitome of “early to bed, early to rise”. He went up to bed last night at 6:30 p.m. Heck, we were barely done with dinner at that time. And I wake up about 5:10 a.m. each morning and get right in the shower. I guess he left while I was in the shower. He was probably awake and getting dressed and ready by 4:00 a.m.

I would venture to guess that he probably went somewhere to have breakfast before going in to work.

 Wow that's early.

Oh!! My dad gets here today!! :woohoo:

I asked him about that, but it's too close to the holiday (mid Nov through Jan is his busiest time at work).

That's okay!

Sounds like my dad. He is in bed no later than 7pm and awake about 4am. By the time anyone else wakes up he is already done a whole mornings worth of stuff and is ready for lunch.:rotfl2:

 Wow that's early.

Oh!! My dad gets here from CA today!! :woohoo:
He's staying w/ my sister for about a week, then will stay w/ me next week.

Have fun with your dad!:cool1:

I hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday!!!!:flower3:

Donna...how nice. I didn't even know you had such a green thumb.:thumbsup2

Yolanda...congratulations on the the job and good luck selling your house. You will be stuck with much of the dirty work so here's some pixie dust for you.pixiedust:

Lesa...good luck at the Dr. How's the hair? Do you have a bunch of bald spots right now? Here's some pixie dust maybe it will work better than the meds.pixiedust:

Amber....rats, I can't believe you won't get to take you Poly trip. Those rates were amazing. I couldn't even get the quote you got with the same code? Good luck nailing down a new date.

Gotta run meet the 'girls' at Panera...catch everyone later.

Hi girls (& pozey & sewer)! Ashley, I totally understand about Thursdays, that's my favorite TV night but there's so much on at the same time, it's hard to decide what to watch & what to skip. I'm behind on Ugly Betty too, I accidentally erased an episode from my DVR that I thought I watched, so now I have to watch that one before any of the newer ones. I think Sanjaya's going home on AI but I've thought that for 2 weeks now, and apparently so has he. I think he must be getting the teenage girl votes. And Sundance just bothered me - I love Pearl Jam and love the song he did, but I cringed all the way through. It just seemed like he was trying too hard to copy the song. I think it'll be a showdown between Blake and Chris Sligh for the boys, I predict they will last the longest out of any of the boys. Poor Lyzzie didn't get to watch because her homework took too long, by the time she was done it was bedtime. And she still had to finish the homework this morning!

Who was it the other day asking about the new season of “The Girls Next Door”?

Anyway, I watched a “new to me” episode last night. It was the Christmas episode. Anyway……one of the girls was wearing a Disney’s Animal Kingdom shirt!! I guess Hef took them to Disney World for vacation at one time or another?

I forgot to mention one thing about last night's AI: When I was watching Jared Cotter (I think that's his name - black guy w/the bushy eyebrows and argyle sweater) all I could think about was Carlton from Fresh Prince doing his stupid dancing!! Am I the only one who saw that resemblance?

I totally see that! :rotfl:

Wow. Page 3!?! We must be a busy bunch of cliquers today.

Isn’t it funny about how your memory works? There are times when I can’t remember what I had for breakfast the day before, or whether I remembered to shut the garage door when I leave the house.

Yet, I can vividly remember a minute little detail from a Disney World trip YEARS ago.

I was reading the Restaurant board earlier and caught the thread about L’Orinale Alfredo di Roma (Alfredo’s) closing in August. This was the first I had heard about its closing. So, I e-mailed DW and told her.

We have eaten at Alfredo’s twice during our trips to Disney World together. Both times were many moons ago – well before we had kids.

Anyway, I mentioned to her that I can VIVIDLY remember making reservations there. Not by using today’s ADR system. I remember making the reservations by phone that very morning when we arrived at Epcot. The only detail I could not recall was WHERE we made the call from. I THINK it was from the area underneath Spaceship Earth. After you come off the ride, AT&T had exhibits there you could look at and play with. I think that’s where we made the reservation.

:lmao: :rotfl2: Oh, man, I SO relate to the memory thing....

wait till you hit my age!

My memory is pretty bad! My parents used to call me "Forgetful Jones"! I was telling Steven, last night that when I was younger (about 9 or 10) I SWEAR that WDW had a lifetime ticket for $1000.00. I think I saw a poster for it at the TTC. Now remember I was a kid and can't remember if it was a dream or not! I think it much be a dream because I have never heard it mentioned anywhere!:rotfl:
