Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 3

The boys’ swim team has a new assistant coach. The head coach is such an easy going guy. He really isn’t a “competitive swimming” coach – he is more of a “lifeguard swimming” type coach. He is VERY lenient with them -- maybe too lenient. But he's just a GREAT guy.

Well, the girl he brought in to help is VERY competitive driven. She swam in college and also played softball in college. And she is TOUGH!! She may be a little TOO tough for some of the kids – but I LOVE how she works them. She pushes them hard.

I told Colton and Chase that she is the kind of coach you will see if you continue on and swim (or play any athletics) at a higher level. And if you listen, you will get better.

A funny story……last practice, she was watching Colton swim breaststroke. And he has a tendency to raise his head up. So, she was walking along the side of the pool where he was swimming and she grabbed one of those soft foam floatie kind of things and started smacking him on top of the head yelling “GET YOUR HEAD DOWN!” I had to laugh! :rotfl2:

Pozey- What a great deal on the shoes! I have seen that perfume too and I like it. That is so sweet that Colton is going to ask Kayla to be his girlfriend! I hope she says yes!

Hey Pozey...what a great deal!:yay: Did you see my lone two pictures from the trip?:rolleyes1
No, I haven’t seen your pictures. At least I don't think I saw them. Remind the old guy what the pictures were..... :confused3

It is strange…..some pictures I can see – like the wonderful chocolate muffins that Donna made us for breakfast. But others don’t show up at all. And in the posts, you can’t even tell that there is supposed to be a picture there. No red X, nothing. :confused3

Yes, that's me. Mike actually drove me to work (usually does). I'm hoping to leave early.

Good...even better...safety in numbers.;)

I posted last night a picture of DeVine in AK and an owl pic also in AK...they might be little red x's.

Good luck to Colton and his special valentine! My youngest DS picked out some chocolates for his teacher. Not just the plain red heart shaped box but the ones with all the flowers, lace etc. I would call it (in honor of Junie B Jones) a Mushy Gushy Valentine!

pozey: Wow, you bake, you love Disney, AND you get excited about shoes on sale?? Good thing we've seen your picture, or I'd have to wonder about you ;).

2x: I can't believe everything is shutting down like that, and it hasn't even started to snow yet! The only time that happens here is the first snow of the season, everyone freaks out. After that, the schools & churches close but everything else is like, "Heh, been there done that."

I have never been called for jury duty, and I never will. How can I be so sure, you ask? Well, I never registered to vote and if I'm not mistaken, jury duty is called from voter registration lists. So... I'm off the hook there. Even though I do think it would be fascinating.

Good luck to Colton! Will this be his first time asking a girl out? That can be so nerve-wracking! (so I'm told) And on V-day no less... no pressure there, right?

I've been too busy to comment individually, but I LOVE everyone's trip pictures!!

Thanks for the chocolate muffins Donna! Sorry to hear about your dryer, but like you said it would have cost much more than a new one. Did you get much snow? We got some, a lot of blowing. Most of the mess seems to have hit just a mile or so south of us. All the schools were closed, and dh has to drive to work just south east of here and he said it was awful. It normally takes him about 20 minutes to get to work and today it took over an hour and almost 2 accidents.:sad2: The girls were looking forward to a day off, a half day Friday and no school Monday isn't enough.:confused3

Oh I forgot to tell you...guess what was in my mail yesterday??
A jury summons:headache:
I have to be there at 9 on Friday 3-9 for them to tell me if they will need me the following week. Why can't I just call them?
It has been 17 years since I have done this.

I have only been called 2x and both times I was able to get out of it because I was nursing babies!!;) :ssst: Now watch, saying this is going to come back to bite me in the butt!!:rolleyes1

Lesa...great 100 days of school "Mickey" project...very creative! Yeah Madison! Oh....if we could only get that wanted poster to Brandon. You need to post that on the YOMD thread over on the theme park board. Didn't he say they checked it out to see what the DISer's had to say? Has anyone sent in any postcards?
:scratchin I never though to post it over there. Imagine if he actually saw it.:lmao: I hope your ds had a good birthday!
Wow, was that a ramble, or what?? All about a snowflake.;)
Okay, moving on-----
Lesa---WOW!!! Wonderful pictures!! You have a good eye!! My favorite statue in MK is the Cinderella fountain----I love how you captured it with just the shadow outline!! Beautiful!! Great perspective of the castle (both with and without the fireworks), too!!
Where were the skeleton pics taken?? My guess is inside POTC waiting area?? You didn't even let me put makeup on!!:lmao:
I forgot about you and Michele getting a private viewing of Country Bears.:yay:
OMG---the poster of Brandon is priceless!!!! TOO FUNNY!!:lmao: :lmao:

Great job Madison did on her 100 day project!!!!! I see Disney runs in the family!!
Donna---thanks for the chocolate muffins!! I bought the makings for cinnamon toast since Lesa keeps mentioning it------I can't tell you the last time I had this. Plus, some hot chocolate----I'm set.

How are you doing? My fingers are crossed for your snow day!pixiedust: My photos are simply by accident, trust me.;) It was a new camera and that was the first time using it so I got lucky with some of the shots. The Cinderella fountain was my favorite too! Your makeup was fine for the group shot, it was the hairdos and lack of proper clothing that had me laughing!;) :lmao:
The picture was taken in the village (sorry it will always be that too me) in the World of Disney. First my frostys now my cinnamon toast!:rolleyes1

I am watching Oprah (here it is on at 9am) Dr. Oz is on. I just love him. I am cracking up. The show is too funny! I'm laughing at them discussing about the vajayjay!:happytv:

I'm going to work on our taxes today. I keep putting it off, but since it is such a yucky day I guess I'll try to get them done.

Ashley: I found a new smilie for you

Hi to everyone I missed! Have a good day!

The picture thing is just weird. I just went back and looked at all the posts from post 11,266.

I can see the cupcakes that 2x2s posted – cool Star Wars cupcakes, by the way……

I can also see the birthday cakes Donna posted.

But I can’t see any of the pictures Lesa posted. And if you just look at her post, you wouldn’t even know that a picture is supposed to be there.

And YourMajesty’s post where she posted pictures of DeVine looks like this:

DeVine at AK...I was so fascinated with her. This was a first see for me and I couldn't tear myself away!

The famous "hoot" owl!

No Red X – nothing.

pozey: Wow, you bake, you love Disney, AND you get excited about shoes on sale?? Good thing we've seen your picture, or I'd have to wonder about you ;).
Just your basic Renaissance man......:lmao:

Actually I attribute it all to having a wonderful mother.

I think you are correct in that jury duty is called from voter registration.....however, I think I heard or read where some places are considering revising it to call people from Driver's Licenses as well.

pozey: it seems to me like if a picture is "swiped" off of another website you can see it just fine, but if it's a personal picture you can't even see evidence of it. Weird. But you are still able to see them at home, right?

Hi 2x2s!! :wave2:
I guess I will have to log on tonight and check you everyone’s pictures!!

The kiddies are good. Colton told me yesterday he was going to ask Kayla to be his “girlfriend” tomorrow (Valentine’s Day). So, we’ll see how that goes. He bought her a Valentine’s card yesterday he is going to give to her.
:love:That's so sweet!

Lesa...Love the poster!! How's the toe? (yuck)
You don't want to know!:sad2: Apparently it is very common in runners.

DeVine at AK...I was so fascinated with her. This was a first see for me and I couldn't tear myself away!

I love that shot of DeVine. That was the first time I saw her and she was just amazing!!

One week ago today most of us were on our way home!:sad1: It seems so long ago!

Good luck to Colton! Will this be his first time asking a girl out? That can be so nerve-wracking! (so I'm told) And on V-day no less... no pressure there, right?
Yep, first time. He has liked this girl for a LONG time. But they haven't been in the same class for the past couple of years.

That is so odd. My pictures are downloaded from photo bucket. :confused3

Yeah, I can see them at home. Just don't have a lot of time to log on at home. But I will make certain to log on tonight to look at the pictures.

Pozey- Like Lesa said, maybe it is photobucket. Didn't you say that your company blocked personal sites and that photobucket was one of them?

Yep. Maybe that is it. Anything posted that references photobucket, I can't see.

Hey all!

I was summoned for jury duty the first day of my honeymoon. I didn't even find out about it until I got back. My dad called and told them I was not coming and they couldn't make me...or something like that, I'm sure there is more to the story.

I hope everyone facing yucky weather stays warm and safe!!! Its windy today, so windy that it broke my gate on our fence and I had to tie it closed with a bungy cord! Called Chris and let him know so he can fix it when he gets home tonight; I'll be at work.

Of to find some lunch!!!

My mom said the funniest thing to me at lunch today... she was mentioning how I owe them some money for the table and the plumber, and now this job stuff (which MY job is still secure BTW) and they are worried about me. She said, "Dad and I hope you are remembering to save enough money for your next vacation." :lmao: :rotfl2: She's finally "getting" what my priorities are!! :thumbsup2 (thumb) And they keep asking if I've heard about free dining at WDW for this year yet... too funny!!

Lin: that is REALLY windy!! Jury duty... not the best way to spend your honeymoon! I'd have liked to hear what your dad told them, I bet that's a good story!
