I completely understand not wanting the photos posted publicly (notice I don't have any photos of myself here).

I've noticed there are a few people here that we don't know what they look like and while curiosity kills the cat it really is a personal decision. As far as pictures go many people do not like them or want them taken.

2xcited....I'm so glad and honored that you are able to come on our getaway even though you are going through treatments and are not 100%. Please know that NO pictures a very reasonalbe request and I completely understand. I want everyone to enjoy themselves(you too Lesa). I think our group can live through the pictures of people that want them taken and don't mind others seeing them!

I agree! Where it would be nice to have a group photo I totally understand the no picture thing. I hate my picture being taken!

Lisa, I had some lip gloss in my purse that I forgot about and they didn't even notice...but I might have just been lucky. BUT, I wouldn't consider it liquid since its powder. However, I wouldn't want it to disappear either! Maybe just call the airline about it? Or post a thread on the transportation board?

My goal for the day is to at least attempt to update my trip report and then finish cleaning out our study. Tonight I am going to see Children of Men and have dinner with a friend. Yippee for pretending to have a life for 24 hours.

If you guys can spare some P&PD our other assistant at work, Tony, found out last night that his mom passed away. Tony posts periodically on the theme park and dinning boards. And like April his favorite restaurant is Crystal Palace. Anyway, he has to fly to Illinois since his family is in Pioria (sp?). If you could all say a word for him I'd appreciate it!

Well, Colton and Chase have another swim meet tonight. This one might be interesting.

See, Colton and Chase go to the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club before and after school. And about 6 months or so ago they started up a swim team. And because of logistics and location, several of his former teammates joined this team.

And tonight, the team the boys swim for will be competing against the Boys and Girls Club team. The swim coach for the B&G Club team is one of Colton and Chase's everyday councilors. She wanted so badly for Colton and Chase to join.

Hopefully, the boys will swim their best tonight.

It just occured to me that I did not see a single girl scout this month! I want my cookies! Why did the girl scouts abandon me in my need for thin mints and tagalongs?

Oh no Lin, no GS cookies?? Lyzzie's troop had some leftovers so I sent a check to school with her yesterday, she was supposed to give it to her friend whose mother has the cookies, and her friend would bring the cookies. Well, something happened and the swap did not occur. So here I was last night, expecting Thin Mints, and I got nuthin'! I hope the girl has got the good sense to track down her friend today.

My mom did the coolest thing for me yesterday. When I got to her house to pick up the girls, and stay for dinner, there was this stack of papers on my plate. I assumed it was stuff from Lyzzie's backpack so I didn't look too closely at it until I sat down. Turns out, it was a bunch of old Disney World guidemaps and tickets from 15-20 years ago! Lyzzie and I had a good time looking through them. She wishes she would have seen a lot of the old exhibits and rides that are gone, and I had a nice little trip down memory lane. Lyzzie was amazed by all the stuff they have added since then, and she got a good laugh out of how old everything looked including the characters' costumes!

Well, the house is cleaned from top to bottom, left to right! Now, alls I have left to do is iron the clothes and get them in the suitcase.

But FIRST, I'm on my way to the hairdresser to get my hair done. Oh, please let this be a good experience as you all my recall my last WAS NOT so pleasant.

Lyzziesmom- That so cool! I love looking at old stuff like that. I found some old tickets from 1991. I like looking ot old tickets from way back, but when I see how cheap tickets were then, I get sad! One of these days I want to get a ten day ticket to use for future trips.

Lin- I haven't seen any GS cookies either! I want some Peanut Butter Patties!

Lin....Glad you found your Girl Scout cookies. I had to turn in Maddie's orders yesterday. She sold 100 boxes, thanks to mom! Good idea, I'll post my question over there. I hardly ever leave this board so I forget the others are out there!

Gracie is laying here with hiccups, it is so funny! Poor thing can't take her nap.

Well I go in tomorrow to hopefully have my hair fixed with the girl that normally does it. She is going to touch up the roots that were missed and do a demi gloss over it. I think that is what they called it. I hope it helps, on the bright side it can't get any worse!

Well I talked to the mom again this afternoon. I think I have her convinced we have to let the girls work it out themselves. I told her again, They're 12 that's what they do. I said it sucks to see your child hurting and you want to make it better for them, but sometimes you need to let them alone and figure it out. Maybe I'll send her a box of chocolates! Seriously, enough already, let them work it out. If they end up not friends, well then so what!

This moving of the smilie thing is really working on my nerve! I think they did it again for the 3rd time today!
