well...we're off to Kennys first wrestling practice:cheer2:

Tell him I said to work hard, and good things will happen! I take my DS all over the place for practice... I drive over 300 miles a week! I know Kenny is young, but make sure you get him involved in the summer wrestling. I'm sure there is a club in you area he can go to.

YourMajesty:: I can't find a spot on your camera lens right now. Looks good!!;)

lyzziesmom:: That's terrific that the cable was free AND they did the cable upgrades!!!
How sweet of Emma to make it through the night without Minnie! Awww...:goodvibes

DznyFan:: I hope you get to feeling better!!! It's good you get to stay home tomorrow. Between the tooth and the ice you probably need to stay put!!

Well, think I'm going to call it a night. I've been awake since 3:45am and I pooped!!! See you in the morning!!

Donna, did you say 3:45am:scared: Glad you are headed off to bed...beauty rest my dear. Oh, I meant to tell you that I fixed a gourmet meal myself...frito chili pie!:rotfl2: The kids love it...well I guess DH and I do too!

Pozey...I don't think I will be able to drag my DH out of bed and make him put on his dark blue shirt tonight....but tomorrow is another day.;) I also want to take a couple of shots of my bushes out front to see if they are a little clearer!

lyzziesmom...well I'm hoping the tip paid off. I even thought the view finder looked better? Glad to hear good news about the plumbing and cable.:dance3: Hopefully you won't have to cut the alarm cables tonight.:scared: Glad Emma was happy to have her favorites back tomorrow. When we got home from the hospital with my youngest my other DS had left his blankie at Grandma's house. He wasn't so accommodating and while DH was gone to get it we had several disasters...the newborn started screaming because he was hungry and peed on the couch... which got the 2 1/2 year old going...:scared: whew...memories!

Linda...good luck to Kenny!pixiedust: :cheer2: We will practice our lighting choices with our pictures...with a few good tips from all these great pciture taking diser's. Oh...and make sure the lens is clean.;)

DznyFan...that hydrocodone can make me very nauseous! I have to eat a ton to keep for getting sick or take another med to counter act the nausea. Eating might be a problem for you right now.:sad2: Hope you feel better tomorrow...I'm sure they will live without you at work if you aren't feeling up to par.:flower3:

Pozey and DznyFan...I see all the main schools are out. It's so slick outside tonight that the boys couldn't even walk their friend home across the street. :sad2: Everyone be careful driving to work tomorrow.

Good morning, Crew!! Oh My!!! Yesterday morning it was 40 degrees outside; this morning it's 20!!! Although this is more like January for us....it's still darned cold!!! Grab yourselves a hot drink and help me eat this plate of goodies!!

I hope everyone has a Tiggerific Tuesday!!!:tigger:

It finally stopped raining after 4 days here, and now the snow machine has started. :crazy2: Ohhhh that sugar twisted thing looks good! :yay: I think I'll have a few of those. :rolleyes1

Morning all!!

Pretty chilly here in Green Country (that's what they call the northeastern area of Oklahoma) this morning. A nippy 16 degrees on the drive in to work. Tomorrow morning, it is supposed to be 2 (yes, two) degrees. Bundle up my cliqueless neighbors.

Donna -- thanks so much for the wonderful breakfast!!

Good Morning!

My mom has decided to go to WDW with us!! I have been trying to explain what it's like, but she just doesn't get it (she thinks it's like a regular amusment park). I am a little worried about spending 14 hours in a car with her though.

Well, I better go back and catch up.

Have a great day!!

Good morning, my cliqueless friends! Donna, those donuts and pastries look fabulous! I'll have one to go with my yogurt! :lmao:

Yep, another slick, icy, chilly day here! I'm going to pile up on my chair and NOT mess with going in.

Everybody have a lovely Tuesday, and stay warm!!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lyzziesmom- That's great you got your cable fixed for free!

Dznyfan- I hope your feeling better!

Amber- That's good your mom is going with you.

Stay warm everyone!

OH...girls...please I'm going to look white as casper the ghost!
oh no...We're still pretty light... must the be Irish in me... I've tanned probably 10 x's and barely have tan lines!

the cable repair was FREE!

We had a minor crisis here tonight. My mom forgot to bring two things back over from her house: Emma's favorite bedtime book and her stuffed Minnie Mouse that she sleeps with! It was so cute, I called her and put Emma on the phone and she got this pouty look on her face and said, "Grammy, where's my Barnyard Dance?" and then later as I was tucking her in, we realized Minnie was missing and she said, "Call Grammy!" so I did and she got right on the phone demanding, "Where's my Minnie Mouse?" My mom said she forgot them and will get them tomorrow and Emma just said, "oh okay." What a sweetie!

pozey: I think you have the best. babysitter. ever. How much does she charge for a full day of sledding and then an overnighter?? ;)
Free repair...I love those ;)!!
Emma is such a sweetie!!princess: or pirate:

yes, pozey is very lucky... the kids obviously love her!!

I can't remember the last time I paid her.

She really is more of a member of the family than a babysitter. They were watching "Over the Hedge" and she is sitting on the couch and Courtney is sitting in her lap and Chase is snuggled up right next to her.
She sounds like such a sweetheart! I can picture Chase snuggled up. He's so adorable!

Tell him I said to work hard, and good things will happen! I take my DS all over the place for practice... I drive over 300 miles a week! I know Kenny is young, but make sure you get him involved in the summer wrestling. I'm sure there is a club in you area he can go to.

I'll have to ask Mikes brother about summer wrestling! Kenny would love it. I don't mind taking Kenny all over if its something he wants to do. I think it is really good for him.

Ahhh memories from the early years:goodvibes
He had a blast at practice!
I can't wait to be taking pix!!! Last time I took over 600...so there are some that have to come out good right ;)

Good morning, Crew!! Oh My!!! Yesterday morning it was 40 degrees outside; this morning it's 20!!! Although this is more like January for us....it's still darned cold!!! Grab yourselves a hot drink and help me eat this plate of goodies!!

Ahhh thanks Donna! You're the greatest!

Yay!! I'm glad you decided to stay home and recover. Much more comfortable at home!!

Oh Amber...good luck! I remember taking my mom when Kenny was 3. It was a 16 hr. drive. I split it up though. She was always wanting to stop to smoke. I don't smoke and I wouldn't let her smoke in my car:rotfl2: We survived....it wasn't that bad.

man those donuts look sooo good. I might have to run and get one w/a nice hot chocolate.

well they called about my car and it was the torque converter...so they're rebuilding the tranny... there is $1500 I would have rather spent on our trip! Oh well... you'll have that!

Kenny had such a blast last night. They basically just got in groups, did flips frontwards and backwards, did cartwheels... got them warmed up a little. They were teaching them the stances a little...but that's hard when there are about 6 HS boys there helping probably 60-70 kids!!! I'm hoping that was both age groups there last night and tonight will just be K-3 ;) if that is K-3:eek: YIKES!!! that is a lot of kids!!!

We're leaving 2 weeks from today:cool1: that's it ...this weekend I'm packing:cheer2:

my co-worker beside me here...he leaves for his first cruise Thursday... he's going on a carnival cruise w/the corvette forum. He hasn't began packing, didn't make any on shore excursions:sad2: I told him I've taught him better than that:rotfl: but ...he does work 2 jobs. He's rubbing it in so bad...I'm leaving for FL in...x hours:goodvibes

Good morning!

We've definately hit a heat wave! It's currently 13 degrees and it is supposed to get all the way up to 25 :cool1: No chance of this snow melting this week though, and we are going to get more snow on Sunday. They had a story on the local news today that a local couple put a cooler full of Colorado snow balls up for bid on ebay and someone back east paid $200 for it:lmao:

Boy that ice storm looks nasty! I hope everyone who is in the storm area stays safe and warm!

Lyzziesmom--:cool1:Glad most of the things are fixed :cool1:

Linda-- I'm glad Kenny had fun!

Dznyfan-- Have a good day of rest and I hope you are feeling better.

2x--I might have missed something but I hope you had a better day yesterday?

Donna-- Thanks as always for breakfast

Frito Chili pie sounds delish! I'll take hot food! Besides, it's one of my favorites!

OOOOhhh! Look how close your counters are until the day you all meet at WDW! I'm a tad jealous but I sure hope you have fun! I'll live vicariously (sp?) through you all! Maybe I'll go to Wallyworld and buy one of those sweater things and wear it in your honor one day while you are gone:rolleyes1

I woke up with a headache today and I am right in the middle of closing out the 2006 financials for work. Hope my head can handle it :sad2:

Lin-- Hope you had a great trip!

Well, I'm going to go grab :coffee: and I'll pop back in after I take DS to school. Hope everyone had a good day!

Good morning Cliqueless---

Everyone staying warm??

I had a busy day cleaning yesterday and ripping my house apart trying to find my original contract for the lease on my car. For some reason I cannot find it but I have found every other document that ever existed on everything else I own or have ever used.:lmao: It was a transitional time when I got this car----I was also moving, so I'm afraid of the little piece of paper's whereabouts.

Donna----I have dibs on the chocolate one!!!! Thanks, I needed that!!

YM---I am not even going to give you trouble about the camera trouble because it sounds like something I'd do. :rolleyes1 Your DH was a good sport.

Pozey----I may have to attend your Photography 101 class soon. I have so much trouble with night shots and fireworks. I ended up deleting so many because they turned out so bad. I know for a fact it is the user, not the camera, though.

DznyFan----glad to see your tooth pulling faired well, even though it wasn't fun for you----at least it's done now. :flower3: Hope you don't have to go to work today. Enjoy your pudding.(and yogurt)

Amber---Your mom has never been to WDW?? Boy, is she in for a surprise. It will be fun to see it through her eyes for the first time.
I meant to tell you a while back about you and Mike trying to have a baby-------just relax and don't get stressed about it. I am keeping you in my prayers.

Lyzziesmom----plumbing problems??:crazy2: But, I see it was resolved without major issues, except for the price---but it could have been alot worse.

Ash----you buying a birthday cake for no reason was just about the cutest thing I have ever heard!! You go, girl-----you deserve it!!!

Linda----how did Kenny do in his wrestling??
Your itinerary sounds lovely------two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance3:

Hi Nicole:wave2: :wave2: :wave2:

Sherri-----WELCOME!!!! and I'll see you in a couple of weeks.

April---yay for getting your price on your tickets. I did the same thing----really lucked out by waiting so long (not by my choice though)-----but my luck-out price was way higher than yours.

Lin---how did it go???????

I am typing this strictly from memory, so you know how that goes.:scared:
Sorry if I have been MIA (or at least not very chatty) the last couple of days-----I have alot on my mind lately.

HI Michele, Lesa, Yolanda, Angela (ya doin' okay??), and anyone else who I have missed.

did anyone watch the Golden Globe awards last night???? I cannot believe Borat won over my JD in POTC II!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor JD---I think I may have to console him.:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Have a good day everyone-----I am going to continue to search for my elusive piece of paper.

Amber: Good luck with your mom coming with you to WDW! My parents are the same way, they like it ok but they just don't 'get it', they ask me why we don't just go to Worlds of Fun instead. NOT THE SAME!!

Donna: Those donuts look soooo good!

It was 0 degrees when I got to my mom's house this morning with the girls, and guess what? We have no heat in the office! Maintenance is here and apparently there is a problem with the boiler and he said, "It'll be a while." We are kind of hoping they can't fix it so we can all go home. In the meantime, it's FREEZING in here!!

Linda: Wow that is a BIG class for wrestling! It sounds like he had a good time, I'm sure it was really cute! I went on a Carnival cruise in 2004 (where I got "married") and it was so much fun. We didn't pre-book any shore excursions, we just signed up the morning of and it was fine. On one of the islands, we just hired a cab driver to drive us around for a couple hours and he taught us so much, and took us to a rum factory for a tour and free samples! (Too bad I was preg.) It was great, and so much cheaper than an excursion that was almost exactly the same thing. I sure hope I can do another cruise this year!

Yolanda: 25 degrees? That sounds positively balmy! :lmao: Right now it is about 60 in the office and falling quickly - but it feels colder because the whole wall behind me is windows (not on the sunny side of the building). Brrrr!! Going to get the Mickey sweater - how cute!

Everyone staying warm??

NO! Trying to though. I hope you find your piece of paper that you need. Don't you just hate when you put something in a "special place" so you won't lose it? That's the best way to lose something!

My house alarm did not beep last night, so that's a relief.

$200 for a cooler full... You could make a killing w/all the snow balls you can make:rotfl: that is funny!
Kenny had a blast. He was quiet and just checking things out until he saw one of his buddies...then he ripped off his shirt, just so his wrestling shirt was on...and he was all set :cool2:

Staying warm... I'd be much warmer w/the corn stove...come on over lyzziesmom since you have no heat at work ;)
Good luck finding your paperwork. I do that all the time. I put it in a safe place that completely makes sense at the time..then:confused3 its nowhere to be found:rolleyes1 . Good luck! I have the same problems w/night photos and esp. fireworks:sad2: Kenny did great. I'll take some pix. Him in one of little outfits will just be too much ;) Didn't see the golden globes but I'm sure JD would appreciate your TLC;)

yeah, it was a huge class... I hope it was both groups together ;)
Did you like the Carnival cruise.... I hear its for the young 20's crowd..lots of drinking etc. Is that how yours was? No alarm beeps:cheer2: whoo hoo!

I really liked the Carnival cruise! I think a bunch of years ago they were aimed towards the younger crowd - I went on one when I was 18 and LOVED it, it was perfect. But it seems a little more grown up now. They had a great kids program, and things for everyone to do. I spent a lot of time in the casino with my grandma! The shows were a lot of fun and there was always too many things to choose from to do - it was cheesy, good entertainment. If I can't go on a DCL cruise, my 2nd choice would definitely be Carnival.

yes, pozey is very lucky... the kids obviously love her!!

She sounds like such a sweetheart! I can picture Chase snuggled up. He's so adorable!
She is a sweetheart. We've known her ever since we moved into our house. Which is going on 10 years now!! Man, TIME FLIES!! :confused3 She had a brain tumor removed about 2 years ago. She went through a whole lot for awhile.

And yes, Chase is a snuggler. He's very affectionate. He HAS to hug me and kiss me good-night EVERY night.

Kenny had such a blast last night. They basically just got in groups, did flips frontwards and backwards, did cartwheels... got them warmed up a little. They were teaching them the stances a little...but that's hard when there are about 6 HS boys there helping probably 60-70 kids!!! Glad Kenny had a great time!! That is a LOT of kids!! I'm sure Kenny is going to be a monster on the mat. :cool1:

2X- I hope you find the paper. I hate it when things like that happen.pixiedust:

Pozey- You really lucked out finding such a great babysitter. She seems like a great person.

A frito chili pie sound really good right about now!

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell ya'll something- I was looking up airfare for ya'll's trip just to look, and Continental has airfare for under $200!!! I want to go so bad, and I would if I didn't just have to pay for school, books and my car note! NOOOOOOO!!!! I never should have looked. :(

I've been on Carnival (2x) and Royal Carribean (1). Both were fun but I thought the room was bigger on Royal (however, keep in mind that the rooms are very small on a ship). I also liked the Royal ship better, but that was probably because it was a bigger ship. However, I liked the food better on Carnival. We are going to do our first Disney cruise in December and I'm excited! This is the first one that Keagan will be on ( technically 2nd because I was pregnant on our 1st cruise but didn't know it-- no wonder the food tasted so good;) Ohhh.. now you've got me dreaming of sand, sun, and the ocean.... that's a happy place:) Have you sensed that there's a theme toall my happy places:rolleyes1 (sun, ocean, warm, sun...) God has a funny sense of humor and placed me in Colorado--go figure:rolleyes:

2x-- Hope you find that paper. I hate it when that happens!

Lyzziesmom-- I hope you get to go home early!

Well, I'd better get back to work. See you later, gators'!
