YM: This may be a stupid suggestion, but have you tried cleaning your camera's lens? I used to get a lot of cloudy pictures like that, especially in bright light, and it turned out there was a greasy smudge on the lens. Oops!

OH my goodness...I was just looking at a picture of my DH and DS and there is a spot...I will have to post it...I don't think DH will mind being famous. I've never cleaned the lens? Where is the duh...smilie?

Just got in from a Day of shopping (and grocery shopping).

Now, I've got to get showered and ready to head back out again.

Steven's got a friend who's invited us to the local sports bar that his friend has opened and he wants to introduce us.

Anyway, I was reading and getting caught up but I can't really comment like I wanted to because he's reminding me that I need to get ready.

But. . . (as he gives me looks like, "Come On!")

Lyzziesmom:: So glad you got your plumbing fixed he just said something AGAIN!!!. When I get back I need to post you my hair cut horror story that I had down here. Also, Sherri and I will most likely do MK on Friday. It's a "green" day if you know what I mean, Wink, wink. And for the record, I LOVE Toon Town and going through Mickey and Minnie's houses. Steven usually has no time for it but hey, he won't be there!! Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Linda:: Uh, the nerve of that boy!! I wouldn't give him the money!! Hell NO!! You don't get given money just because I don't know, you're breathing! Sheesh!

I hope April has a good time! I wonder if Lin is home yet? I can't wait to hear how it went.

My plumbing is fixed and my cable is fixed - 2 out of 3! The alarm still beeps every 4 hours. We can't figure it out, the darn thing isn't even turned on or plugged in! My dad left the control panel hanging off the wall with instructions for me to cut the wires if it beeps again... according to the manual it's only supposed to beep every 24 hours, not every 4. I hope cutting the wires doesn't set it off more! It reminds me of an episode of I think it was Friends, where the smoke detector keeps beeping and she throws it out the window, and the fireman comes back up with the mangled beeping smoke detector - that's how I feel! But at least I can watch tv and use the plumbing again.

Oh my God, Linda and Lyzziesmom! What a couple of jerks you guys have to deal with! I'm so sorry to see anybody go through that with ex's and children. The irresponsibility, the evasion by changing jobs - it's unbelievable to me. Sorry that the two of you have to deal with it - two of the nicest people I've never met getting shafted. It's just not right. (at least Linda you're getting some) money, that is.

well thank you...you're so sweet! I think his wife was an instigator in it all as well thankfully she's out of the picture. Plus last Thurs. he called and cancelled picking Kenny up...whoo hoo..so that will probably start more and more again. You learn not to count on it.

20 degrees...that probably feels like a heat wave after the weather you've been having! Kenny had a ball at practice! I can't believe how many kids were there... even one girl!

yeah, that is pretty much what he expects...too bad it aint happening. In the summer he went to jail for hitting his girlfriend or something...and I'm sure he's just wanting to pay his mom back for paying his fines, court costs, rent, etc. while he was in jail. I say...get a J. O. B! He won't learn unless he pays the consequences! Now I'll get off my soap box!

I think I'm just going to have my sis even the bottom and maybe snip my bangs a little. I started the tanning process today. I would like to be able to get a minicure or two before the trip.

Just a quick evenin' to everyone. We've got company tonight. Seems I've adopted a 17 year old girl.

Our neighbor/babysitter is spending the night. She came over and sledded with the kids ALL DAY today. In the process, Courtney invited her to spend the night. So......she just got here. She really is a sweetheart of a girl.

They just turned on a movie, so I'll probably go watch too.

Linda.......how did Kenny do at wrestling practice? I'm sure he's gonna be GREAT!!


YM........get a VERY soft cloth and GENTLY wipe the lens. That might do the trick.

OH...girls...please I'm going to look white as casper the ghost! I will do the haircut and highlights and course in honor of our esthetician I hope to have my eyebrows in nice shape. I didn't get my appointment as close to our trip as I wanted to I may have a little few eyebrows out of place but I do not pluck....repeat I DO NOT (what's the correct word 2x?)

YM: Don't worry, you won't be the only ghost in FL. I always say I'm so pale, I'm transparent! Even when I lived in FL, I just don't tan. I have the kind of skin (Irish, Norwegian, & various other pale ethnicities) that just goes from white to burned, then peels back to white - nothing in between. And I don't pluck either! Don't tell 2x, but I have a little eyebrow trimmer and it sort of shaves 'em into shape. It looks pretty good until they grow in, then it looks weird for a day or two until I can zip 'em back into shape again. Almost forgot to tell you - I think the picture looks better! I don't see the spot anymore and it might be the power of suggestion, but does it seem a wee bit clearer overall?

Donna: the cable repair was FREE! Since it wasn't my fault they did not charge for the service call. The guy had to climb up on a pole and everything! Apparently the existing cable, which is not buried in this neighborhood but is up on poles like a telephone line, was split and it would get water in the line, causing my bad reception. It's a miracle it didn't affect my internet since it's a cable modem. So he replaced the whole line and even set up a new splitter inside so my tv in my room (my FLAT SCREEN! - can you tell I still love it?) looks better too.

We had a minor crisis here tonight. My mom forgot to bring two things back over from her house: Emma's favorite bedtime book and her stuffed Minnie Mouse that she sleeps with! It was so cute, I called her and put Emma on the phone and she got this pouty look on her face and said, "Grammy, where's my Barnyard Dance?" and then later as I was tucking her in, we realized Minnie was missing and she said, "Call Grammy!" so I did and she got right on the phone demanding, "Where's my Minnie Mouse?" My mom said she forgot them and will get them tomorrow and Emma just said, "oh okay." What a sweetie!

I can't remember the last time I paid her.

She really is more of a member of the family than a babysitter. They were watching "Over the Hedge" and she is sitting on the couch and Courtney is sitting in her lap and Chase is snuggled up right next to her.

I'm hoping I can handle it with a few Advil tomorrow, but DH still doesn't want me going into work. I don't know though - tonight I'm bouncing between hurting, napping, and being nauseous.

I know the feeling. I hope you feel better soon - it certainly is no fun. I finally got up the nerve to call the dentist today because my teeth hurt too much to eat ice cream yesterday, and nobody answered so I couldn't make an appointment!
