Alright I have embarrassed myself enough... goodnight to all

Hi Jeremiah! Man I was on all day jabbering away and then off to cook dinner and what do I miss....A very rare appearance of a spouse!:confused3 :rotfl:

Ashley...I see Jeremiah has lots of personality like his lovely wife! I love that picture in his signature...I don't recall seeing that one?

My DH does lurk a little but only since I decided to jet away with you strangers! Also, because I told him my post count and I think his eyes about popped out of his head! :earseek:

Well it's been a fun DISer day...I think we ran through a few pages today!:rolleyes1

Howdy, Jeremiah! Nice to meet you! We've heard so much about you! I see you've got a wicked sense of humor! Yay for being a white knight to Ash and swooping in on that other thread.

Ashley - I love the old photos.

April - congrats on the resumes! pixiedust: for any and all of those jobs. HR for performing arts? Hmmmm.... Thanks for thinkin' of me when you belly up (not like a goldfish) at the ol' Suitcase in a few weeks!

Donna - was it you? who said something about their DH and non-DISing? Never mind - it was APRIL!
Mine's that way. He said something the other day about "a bunch of women who don't have anything better to do and probably have only been to WDW once or twice..." Yeah - my cynical DH. He has read the DIS (parts - DVC planning occasionally, and getting mp3 files) and he always has something smart@@@ to say if 'he' doesn't agree w/ something - whatever that something may be - in this case, the DIS. We're not always on the same page. :confused3 Cest la vie!

Sooo... what's for dinner? A cream base taco soup with chicken, onions, peppers, tomatos, corn and beans - with cornbread muffins. I'm done, cleaned up, and settled in. Watching Modern Marvels on the History Channel - Walt Disney World!

Amber, I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Hi, Ym!!! Wasn't it great to have a spouse join us? It has been a chatty group today!!! I think I had to read about 5 or 6 pages!!

What would I call your DH??? HisMajesty perhaps!:teeth:

Well, I guess Lin is on her way to WDW!!! Have fun Lin and good luck with the interview tomorrow!!!

Yolanda:: More snow??!!! GO BUT A SNOWBLOWER....NOW!!!;)

lyzziesmom:: No, I don't have AOL. We live in the country and had to put up our own 60ft tower. It had to be tall enought to reach the transmitter for the small local internet company that is our only option for the type of work DH has to do ; VPN addresses and connecting to his company network in St. Louis. I call it The Mayberry Internet Co.!!
YAY!!! You got your Crocs!!!:woohoo:

pozey:: We have 2 PCs and 3 laptops. The laptops are connected with wireless internet and we also have the Vonage phone service. I had DH show me how to reboot last night. It may not be necessary to do everything in order, But DH thinks so?!:confused3
Cool hidden Mickey,BTW!!

DznyFan:: What was it I said about my DH and Dising? (Nevermind I see it was April.)He thinks we're all kind of crazy, I think. I sometimes have to remind him of his Slot Car Racing Forums, he doesn't have ANY business making fun of ME!!!

I'm going to stop here guys....I should have used the multi-quote option. This post has the potential to be VERY long!!!

I think he would be very pleased with HisMajesty.:teeth:

He thinks we're all kind of crazy, I think. I sometimes have to remind him of his Slot Car Racing Forums, he doesn't have ANY business making fun of ME!!! :

I bet $$ my DH is on BBQ forums! :rotfl:

My DH was very into his running boards before his marathon!!! He even started telling me funny stories....so there....a passion is a passion!

Sooo... what's for dinner? A cream base taco soup with chicken, onions, peppers, tomatos, corn and beans - with cornbread muffins. I'm done, cleaned up, and settled in. Watching Modern Marvels on the History Channel - Walt Disney World!

I made a soup too. It was kinda like a white chili...except I made up what I wanted to put in it. It was ground turkey, white nothern beans, onions, green pepper, chicken broth, red pepper, cumin....it was tasty. I served it with sharp cheddar cheese slices, crackers, apples, and oranges....not too bad.

April...:yay: :woohoo: good job on the resume...now good luck with landing an interview! Oh...glad to hear your room was approved! We didn't want to see you sleeping on a park bench.... :rotfl:

I'll see you in alittle bit guys!! We're going to go get dinner now.

Have a nice dinner Ashley (and you too Jeremiah!) You had me going there for a minute with the post about Ashley's family... until I saw the signature picture! Very cute! :rotfl: BTW - we all LOVED the picture of you with the Old Navy mannequin - you guys must be so much fun. I wish you were both coming on our Feb. WDW trip but oh well... next time!

I took Lyzzie out to Longhorn for a nice steak dinner tonight. Ok so it was really for me, since she is a vegetarian, but she likes the salad! I am so stuffed now.

YM - I just posted on your crocs thread. I see you got the black with red straps? I got the red with black straps! I was wearing around the house this evening to break them in... they are a little different fit than my khaki ones but I love them! The Mickey heads look really cute if I wear bright colored socks with them - I found this out by accident!

I think I'm going to start reading the new Plum book tonight. I bet I'll zip right through it!

ETA: April - So the whole clan is coming huh? Great! Glad to see at least two of you can make it for breakfast at Park Fare! I don't think I'm going to call Disney Dining again and change the reservations, again. We've added people at the last minute before and it was no problem, so I'm sure it will be fine... especially since they will already have a really big table to seat us all and it's not during a very busy time of year.

April:: I must tell you good luck with getting the overpaying job!!! If you're hired, don't feel guilty; it just means you were perfect for the job!
Super news that you won't be homeless for a night!!(Like we'd let that happen.) So are both sisters coming, or just Sherri?

Well, I went to the TSA website to see what I would be allowed to carry-on. I was worried about my make-up and toothpaste. I guess I can bring them in my carry-on as long as they are under 3ozs. and are in a clear qt. Ziplock bag. Yeah!!!!:yay:

April: I understand being nervous about the job. Even when you know you are qualified, if it's a big pay hike you feel like THEY might think you might not be qualified. It sounds like a great job. Just try to feel confident and remember everything you told us about how much you want the job and how qualified you are, and be sure to tell them stories and examples of how your everyday skills can translate to the particular job. You'll do fine! Confidence is everything... if you believe you can do it, so will they. Don't even think about the money, that is just icing on the cake!

Hi, lyzziesmom!!! Ooooh a steak sounds really good!!! Nathan and I usually order a large ribeye and split it. He only eats the meat and the dinner rolls.
So, where is the Croc thread? I really hate the new Dis changes..I used to be able to stalk you guys.:upsidedow :surfweb:
I have a ME express question too, if you don't mind. Even though I'm flying SW I don't have to get my luggage at the carousel as long as they have the ME Tags, right? The only difference would be leaving the resort...I would be responsible for getting the luggage on the bus.

That's right. Put the yellow ME tags on your luggage at home, and that will tell the baggage handlers at MCO to put it on the ME bus, no matter what airline you arrived on. When you leave the resort to go back to the airport, you will need to bring your luggage with you. Which really isn't a big deal. If you are leaving in the afternoon, you can leave it with bell services/luggage services all day after you check out. Then pick it up and wait for ME. The ME driver will load it into the bottom of the bus and give it back to you at MCO. When you get to MCO, you will pick up your luggage again from the ME driver. Then you only have to take it to the SW check-in counter. Or in my case since I will have Emma and a couple suitcases... I will probably just use curbside check-in, which means I have to lug my baggage an extra... what, 10 feet? Big whoop. It's so easy, I wish every place had something like ME!

So, where is the Croc thread? I really hate the new Dis changes..I used to be able to stalk you guys.:upsidedow :surfweb:

Donna: Here is the link to YM's Crocs thread (hope you don't mind YM!) I think she answered her own question! I like a lot of the new DIS... but I'm with you, I hate the search function! It will only show threads that a poster started when you click on their name, not everything they have posted on. I tried to find the one where Jeremiah rescued Ashley, but it said there were no matches. Stupid search!! :headache:

OMG-----you guys really didn't post 6+ pages, did you?????!!!!!:hyper2: :hyper2: :faint:

Holey Moley!! (sorry DznyFan----no pun intended----good luck tomorrow)

Let's see, so far I read about new cars, boogers, Aunts, Pozey sang a pretty lala song, hmmmm, what else-----oh yeah-----

HI JEREMIAH!!!!!!!!

I must admit----you had me going!!!! I didn't quite catch on at first, wondering who was hot after Ash's husband and then how you got that picture in your signature without it being a quote. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :lmao: Don't worry 'bout me, though----I sometimes have these lightbulb moments.:3dglasses
Nice of you to join us!!!! We luv our 'lil Ash!!!!! So sweet of you to come to her rescue!!

BTW----Ash----oh my goodness---as you know, my (Wilma's) dial-up takes forever to download pics. Well, I was waiting for one of your's to load---the one of your mom and dad holding you in FL-----I thought it was you!!!! You are the spittin' image of your mom!!!!!! All of your pics are so wonderful!!!

DznyFan----do you like your Mazda?? Any problems with it?? My lease is up on my VW cabrio and I fell in love with a Mazda 6 when I rented one a couple of years back in FL. I still have to go and price them, but I want something along those lines-----Mazda6, Toyata Camry, or Nissan Altima. I just don't know anyone who has a Mazda, so I'm not very familiar with them. Any input?? Good luck to Erin on her callback!!!! That's wonderful!!! And good luck to you on your tooth extraction tomorrow.

Lyzziesmom---I just thought something was on my screen strategically placed right under Emma's nose.;)
I think you need a hug, girlie!!!:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: I know what it means to have that "sadness".
When does Emma come back??

Donna----thanks for the muffins!!!! I understand you had some computer issues yesterday?? Gee, you'd think it was the Stone Ages.:upsidedow
Are you listening to the Amber alert going on here?? So sad!!!!! The town that it happened in is the place where my family goes every October for the little "camping" trip----remember me saying that we always celebrated my grandma's birthday there and this year it was so different because my uncle "ran" the show?? Anyway, this is the town where that little boy was abducted.:sad2: :sad1:

Lin----I know you're already gone, but GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!! So, when you get the job, you can hire all of us on to help you, right??:rolleyes1

Linda------I'm cracking up at Kenny and his wrestling!!! Maybe he can demonstrate some of his moves in Feb.?? How's his countdown calendar coming??

YM-----sounds like you've had a trying week!!!! Glad to hear everyone is okay, though!!! I'll talk at ya soon!!
HI HISMAJESTY!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Amber---hope you feel better!!!!

Hi Michele, Nicole, Pozey, April (good luck with the resumes), Angela (where are ya, sista??), Lesa (you too??), Yolanda, and anyone else I may have forgotten------my brain's fried!!!

Ok, it's official. The DIS is a scary, scary place. I just started a thread about a weird embarassing nose problem I've been having (not related to Emma's boogery photo) and within three minutes, I had three replies! DISers love gross things! (Confession time: I always open the threads with the highest gross-out factor. Also, it may be a scary place but it's really helpful!)

That's so funny that you got the same sweater!! Isn't it so nice and warm and cozy?
Wait, what does this sweater look like? I just bought a navy blue Mickey Fleece jacket from WalMart with a hood that's red and zips down and has the numbers 28 on it? It was on sale. :woohoo: Is this the same sweater? What page of our thread is the description give on? I was going to pick one up for Sherri too but I didn't. Maybe I should. Hhhhmm.
That is such a cute story. She is looking for her nest. When Brittany was little and I would comb her hair I would always tell her we needed to get the rats out of her hair. She would run screaming from me yelling she liked her rats in her hair and they were her friends.:rotfl2:
That's soo funny, :rotfl: my family used to say "get the rats out". Too cute

The first dealership we went to was Ford, sat down in a Fusion, it's nice:) I tell Blake, OK get this one. I really don't care. Nope, we have to keep looking.:rolleyes1 This is going to take a while. I forgot how much Blake likes to 'visit' things before he buys them. He bought a boat before we were married...he visited it for 4 months before he decided:confused3
Sounds just like us. It takes us forever to buy a car. But, it's like if I put that much money into something I need to love it.

Whew, I think I've caught up with nearly everyone. This multi-quote is wonderful for my memory!! One thing I did want to add about the Feb trip... you all will notice that sometimes, especially after being seated or standing still for a long time, I will walk with quite a limp due to my stiffness/soreness issues. It kind of comes and goes. Just wanted to let you all know so nobody makes a big deal out of it, because it's really not. Last time I went to WDW with Lyzzie's grandparents, they kept asking me if I was ok and if I needed to rest (my condition developed after I moved away from FL where they live so they are not used to it) and it drove me crazy. Ok, just needed to get that out there, I feel better now.
No problem, I'll be right there with you. I have horrible neck/shoulder/headache pain. I'm seeing a chiropractor three times a week. Boy, we'll all be a sight marching through Disney, huh? :rotfl:
Colton and Chase swam GREAT last night. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they swam.

Chase won all three events he swam in – Freestyle, Backstroke, and Butterfly.

Colton swam up one age group – he swam in the 11 – 12 age group. He also won all three events he swam in – Freestyle, Backstroke, and Breaststroke. He broke his personal best time in Freestyle and Breaststroke. He bettered his Breaststroke time by almost 2 seconds!
Way to go Chase and Colton!! :thumbsup2 Great jobs!!
Hey April... you don't have any more sisters do you? j/k... I don't mind another joining our little group! Although it's getting to be not so little, eh? Good luck to Steven with his job interview tomorrow, and to you too! I'm sure you'll find something, sometimes it can take a while for just the right thing to pop up. It sounds like you do a really good job with your resumes! I usually just have two resumes I use, and I will customize the cover letter - as if anyone actually reads those things. (BTW: it's "accentuate" - since you asked)
No. No more sisters. It's just the three of us. I'm the oldest, then it's the teacher (you'll all get her name down there or probably in a PM cause she doesn't like that kind of info on the net) and then there's Sherri the baby.
Well, I have tons to do before tomorrow! I have to write my references and print my resumes and pack and a million other little things!
Prayers and Pixied Dust to you Lin!!!
...snipped...
April:: I was going to ask you of Sherri was Snow White from your Halloween pics. She looks like she would be a fun, Disney lovin' kind of gal!! The more the merrier with your other sis joining as well!!
Sending lots of pixie dust for you and Steven's job hunt!!pixiedust: pixiedust:
Yes she sure is one fun, Disney lovin' kind of gal!! You'll lover her. Thanks for the pixie dust for the job hunts. We can use it.

April:grouphug: hey there girl. I've been wondering about you. Lots of P&PD for Steven for his job interview!! Good luck w/the sister too ;) Of coarse you know we don't mind! It is going to be a blast...I can't wait!

Well Kenny is all excited...he starts "bitty wrestling" Monday...Boy I've got to have the camera out for this!!! It wraps up while were on vacation, but you'll have that. Mikes brother is the coach. He's already going around trash talking..."I'm gonna kick their tail":lmao: He's 34# and he's going to do what:confused3
Thanks, Linda! Kenny is too cute!!

April- Good luck to Steven!
Thanks, Nicole!

April-- Prayers and fingers crossed for you and your husband on your job searches!
Thanks, Yolanda! :goodvibes

Have to tell you guys my “hidden Mickey” story……

Sorry……just thought it was a cute story……
That was a great story, Pozey. Thanks for sharing. It's always fun to get a little bit of unexpected Disney Magic.

April...wow...you now have two sisters going? You guys are going to have a little party. I think I would have fun with my sisters at WDW if I could get them down there! They would both rather go to the beach...I'm not a big beach person. In my old age I really don't like being wet..unless I'm on Splash Mountain and it's hot outside (don't like being wet and cold even at WDW)! Plus, the wind and the sand.....well anyway...a day at the beach is long enough for me. I do like to look at the so an ocean view room in Hawaii would be nice!
Hello to eveyone else and all the newbies stopping by!
Yup. Two of 'em. :) My middle sister is a serious beach/pool girl. As a matter of fact, that's where she'll mostly be. By the pool...in Disney...by the pool. :confused3

omg...someone just walked in our office and stole my boss' laptop and walked out totally unnoticed:scared1: right off his desk!!!!:sad2: wow...
OMG!!!:scared1:
OH! And - just an update, I got a text from Erin this morning, and she has a call back for this afternoon - unknown for what character.
Good luck to Erin. Fingers crossed for her!!

On a related note.......Colton told me that he tried out for the 5th Grade Select Choir yesterday. Again, he does all these things without being told to from neither me nor DW!! I am so proud of him!! And Chase and Courtney as well!
Wow, that's great. I loved Choir. Good luck to Colton. :thumbsup2

Hey, 2X - I was thinking about you earlier this evening!! Wondering how you were...

My Mazda? With the exception that it doesn't have a big HP 6 cylinder in it, and it's a downgrade from what I'm used to driving - I like it. I've had it almost a year and a half, only have 14K miles on it - so no problems so far. It's cheap to drive. When I bought it, my car payment, insurance, and gas all went down.

I was :rotfl: at your comment: Let's see, so far I read about new cars, boogers, Aunts, Pozey sang a pretty lala song, hmmmm, what else-----oh yeah----- because - you do know what Pozey was 'lala'ing about, don't you??? Just a little 'girl' talk! See what you miss when your tweezing? (Or treatmenting) Boogers! but aren't those pictures of Emma precious?

YM - your soup sounds yummy!

Oh! And my molar is Monday!

You have an Amber alert there? I hope they find her/him! We had a teen go missing (last week?) and it wasn't a good ending.

Musical update: She sang and read for the part she wants. She said she nailed the song "Goodnight My Someone", and had to cold read the scene - both for Marian. She's getting a lot of positive feedback from her fellow drama geeks, they all think she's got the part, but she's not taking anything seriously, there were 2 other girls sing/read for the part. She didn't read for any other parts, though. more callbacks tomorrow, and cast list goes up Friday.

YM - your soup sounds yummy!

Hi DznyFan----

Yep, ya don't check in for a couple of days and this place goes wild!!!:dance3:
I did notice the reason Pozey was "lala-ing"-----the whole Aunt issue------I had to laugh because for some reason in high school we used to call it George. Don't ask----we all used to say--"George came to visit".:confused3 :confused3 :lmao: Oh, youthfullness.(is that even a word?? if so, it's most likely spelled wrong)

Thanks for the Mazda update. I have only driven the one, but really liked how it handled, etc. My mom had an RX7 yeeeeeaaaars ago, which was a true lemon, so I wasn't so sure at first. I, to tell you the truth though, cannot wait to get rid of my VW cabrio----trouble since I got it----to be fair though, not all just because it is a VW. I had some minor Plum-ish problems----ya know, convertible top slashed, flat tires, etc.-----no "KABOOMS" though.:lmao:

Oh, molar on Monday----you're right.:3dglasses

I'm so sorry to hear about the teen in your area. This is so sad!!!!
There is a 13/14 yr. old boy that disappeared on Monday. He just got off of the bus from school and was walking home with a friend. They parted ways and the friend said he last saw him walking down a hill but heard and saw a small white truck screech away, then he couldn't see his friend.:sad1:

Still keeping my fingers crossed for Erin!!!

Hey....the Pin-cess has checked in...princess: You had me cracking up...funny girl.:rotfl2:

lyzziesmom...whatever you do don't give DONNA the croc link! j/k Donna! Do you have your Disney crocs. It sounds like we are going to dress alike in our crocs and Disney Walmart sweaters.:rotfl:

April...wow...so your sister is really going to come down to Disney and sit at the pool. :confused3 I see you are on the dress alike plan...I bet you already have your crocs?

DznyFan...the soup was good and healthy! Yours sounded good too. Oh...I forgot to send some pixie dust for Erin!pixiedust:

Well...I've done my best today to keep the pages turning on this thread!:rolleyes1

lyzziesmom:: Thanks for the clarification on ME!!! I think I've got it all straight now!!
Thanks for the link to the Croc thread.
I did the same thing with Jeremiah..trying to find Ashley's problem thread.

2x2s:: Yes, so sad about the young boy. I hope they find him unharmed soon. My heart aches for the family.

April:: It seems as though there will be triplets on the trip!!!! Your jacket is just like ours!!!!:rotfl2: I wonder how many hundreds of ladies will have theirs on while we're at WDW!!

DznyFan:: Good luck to Erin!!! I hope she gets the part she really wants.

YourMajesty:: Sorry, Queenie, you've already been stalked!!!:cool2:

Nicole::Wasn't that wonderful that Jeremiah stopped by to say Hi?
