2x: I get in to Orlando at 10:40am on Southwest on the 2nd. I've been trying to plan, and all I keep thinking is "I wish I had more days, there's not enough time to do everything!" Last May we went for a 5-day trip and it felt so hurried. I hope not to feel that way again. Cute story about the other Emma! My Emma was so funny today, I asked her, "Who lives at Disney World?" and she said, "ME!" Then we were talking about characters, I asked her if she's going to see Cinderella (she is terrified of the face characters) and she said, "Noooo, no see Cin-ella. See MickeyMouseMinnieDonaldDuckDaisyGoofyPluto!" I think next I will teach her the 7 dwarfs as a good party trick.

Donna: I get the AllEars newsletter! I liked the article this week about the favorite things. I hate when they just do dining reviews. Everyone has different tastes, and they just seem so uppity about it, always talking about how it's "going downhill." People, it's Disney World, it's not JUST about fancy-schmancy food. (sorry foodies)

Can you guys believe I have never read or seen any versions of Pride & Prejudice? I'm severely lacking on most of the "classics." Blame my substandard public education I guess.

pozey: I certainly hope your luck improves at work. Just remember... everything happens for a reason. It may be hard to believe right now, but perhaps the reasons will make themselves known in time.

April: I'd love to hear more of your trip report! You really have a way of making us feel like we were right there with you. I intended to do a report after my last trip, and just never got around to it. Now I don't think I could remember it well enough to write about, except for a few standout moments, it all seems like a happy, tiring blur. Are you still planning on coming in Feb? I am really looking forward to meeting everyone!!

Lyzzie finally got to play with her new Fly pen tonight, after Emma went to sleep early. It is really cool! I think I may have to play with it a little by myself. Isn't that why we buy our kids the cool gifts, so we can play with them? I know when I was a kid, the cool gifts were always the ones that were already assembled, because my dad had already "tested" them.

And of course
there's my very best memory of that big drop -- riding with a
group of crazy internet women friends, many of whom had just met
in real life for the first time that weekend, and my seatmate,
Pam, throwing her arms up at the moment of the big plunge with a
look of sheer ectasy on her face, captured by the Splash
Mountain camera forever in a photograph that has come to be
known as the "Splash-gasm." That Splash Mountain drop has to be
one of my favorite things -- even if I don't ride it every time
I'm in Disney World, I find myself standing at the bottom of the
falls, at least for a few minutes, watching the logs as they
tumble down, smiling as I hear the squeals of the delighted, or
indignant, as they slosh through the water.

I got the POTC version of the game of "Life". My mom snuck it in her suitcase from WL giftshop (snuck it from me----not from paying for it ). I'm dying to play it but my friend who I may join that evening doesn't quite understand my WDW nor my JD obsession. Too bad we all don't live a bit closer together----I know you guys would happily play it with me.

Ohhhh, this is a great game!! We went to my SIL's in Georgia (an hour and a half away) and her children got this game for Christmas!! It was sooooooo much fun. We all agreed it was more fun than the original Life. It's nothing like Life, though. But by the end of the game I was Capt. Jack Sparrow, I had the monkey as a Mascot and I owned the Black Pearl. I started out as Barbosa and had some dingy but through the course of the game and those "Raid" squares I acquired all of the above. I also won the game because I had the most money! It really was alot of fun.

This was the first year my sister in law was able to celebrate Christmas with her family. Thanksgiving is the big holiday for DH's family and Christmas, everyone is on their own. I think she was pleased as punch her brother and myself were able to join her.

2x2s:: That is hilarious about your Emma. That is just too cute.

Lyzziesmom:: Definately teach Emma the dwarf's names. That would be cute and funny.

Donna:: Hope you're feeling well really soon.

YM:: You're not feeling well either!! Hope you're feeling well real soon too!!

I have no idea about PMs. No one ever sends me any.

Lyzziesmom:: I'm hoping to come in February but I didn't get my tickets when they were $29 and now they're $79. Also, I'll have to see about the job situation. We haven't heard anything yet but with the Holidays I don't really expect too.

I painted it and sculpted the little snowmen out of squares of clay. She added the snow. It was fun and I'm amazed I did as well as I did for my first time.

Hey!!! That is a really neat craft project!! Great job on sculpting the snowmen!! I'm not artistic or crafty in the least. I've tried scrapbooking, but the pages starting kind of looking the same.

Wouldn't that be neat to wind up on the same ME? Of course, if the flights are close enough in arrival time to each other, we could just meet at the airport & then get on the same ME. We'll figure it out. Maybe Emma was trying to tell me that we will win the night in Cinderella's Castle? As long as Cin-ella herself isn't there to scare the lil' punkin away, that is. Lucky you, able to stay another day! I seriously considered it, but that would use all my sick days for 2007. Not a wise idea.

Me neither. That POC Life game sounds fun! I usually avoid the "themed" games, because they are so often slapped together just for the marketing aspect of the characters, but that one sounds well thought-out. I love board games, but they are not nearly as fun without anyone to play them with. Unless you are Lyzzie, she loves to play against herself. Please do try to come in Feb... the more the merrier!

My flight leaves on Tues. at 4:55pm. We'll probably be on the same ME back to the airport. As for the ME tags, what airline are you flying? I've found that they will say your flight info is unknown if you are not flying one of the "participating" airlines. All that really means is they do have your info, but they don't need it for ME purposes on the way TO WDW, which is all the tags are for, since they just mark the bags for pickup at the Orlando airport. It's really not a big deal.

Did you see that? I used the multi-quote! I hope it worked. It's great for helping me remember what I wanted to say, since I have a memory like a sieve.

April: I love the craft project! Isn't Sculpey clay great? Lyzzie got a bear making Sculpey kit for Christmas - somehow Santa got her the same one she picked out for a classmate's birthday a couple months ago! I made a teddy bear the first time I used Sculpey and the instructions are so easy, it came out really cute. I amazed myself... usually my crafts look so much better in my head than they actually do in real life. Your snowmen are so adorable!! I love the shot glasses. I once decided while I was in college that I was going to buy a shot glass as a souvenir everywhere I went, including in every ride's gift shop. I think I ended up with a grand total of ONE before I decided that was going to be waaaaaay too expensive. (Remember, my first year of college was in Orlando!)

2x: don't be nervous about meeting us for "real"! I can't speak for everyone else for certain, but I for one am about as nonjudgmental as you can get and I'm pretty sure the rest of us are too. Isn't that why we are the Cliqueless?

I think I have to make a dentist appointment once my coverage begins on the 1st. My teeth have been super sensitive to cold for a few weeks. I keep trying to ignore it thinking it will go away, but at dinner tonight it hurt almost too much to eat dessert! I'm not one who is terrified of the dentist, but it's definitely not one of my favorite activities. I have soft enamel and am prone to cavities no matter how much I brush, and I'm pretty sure I have at least one. Ick.

Whoa, look at the time! I'd better try to get some sleep soon - not that I really need to be awake at work this week since it's so dead.

April, your snowmen sculpture is adorable! It looks like you've been making them for years. I would love to hear more about your trip. I keep meaning to write a report and get my pictures organized, but with the holidays, I've been too busy. Oh, as for a desk chair, I found one at Staples.

Dzneyfan, it's nice to put a face with a name. I never have pictures of myself because I'm always the one with the camera.

I am now sick. So far it's just a sore throat and I'm very tired. Mike has the same thing only with cough, congestion, and an upset stomach. I HATE being sick!! I hope everyone else that is sick feels better.

Hello everyone--

Sorry I've been MIA-- I had a ton of work to catch up on!!! I'm trying to get all my running around done before this next storm hits us. It's coming in today and they are saying by the time it stops snowing on Saturday we are looking at another 18-24 inches on top of what we still have!!!!
I'll try and post some photo's for you of the last storm!

Ok-- New Year's-- We always get together with a group of friends and have a big seafood dinner. This year I am hosting, but with this storm we might have to cancel. We will wait and see what happens.
