Ooh! Ooh! I didn't tell ya'll! (I'm not excited or anything...) I think I'm going to get my SCUBA certification sometime this spring - something I've been wanting to do - and I'm going to try and do the Living Seas dive in June when we go. I LOVE the water, and I think learning to SCUBA dive would just be one of the coolest things to do! Especially at WDW.

That sounds exciting! My DSIL is certified. She goes to the Keys all the time (she lives in FL).

Donna: Thanks for the croissants! I have never seen chocolate ones, but they look scrumptious. I'd love to join you at WDW to eat them! It looks like its in the low 70s there... just perfect. So much better than the (just barely) 40s we have here.

Amber: I think I'm coming down with something too, probably catching what the girls have had. I've been trying to fight it but I just feel poopy. (Not literally!) It was very difficult to drag myself out of my nice comfy bed this morning, especially knowing it would be another looooong boooooring day at work. Ugh.

Yolanda: I hope you don't get snowed in! We don't get very much snow here in Kansas City, but when we do it's like the city shuts down. It only snows maybe 4 times each winter, but it's usually accompanied by an ice storm. I sometimes wish we'd get more of the fluffy stuff. If it's going to be this cold, at least we could have the pretty snow to look at!! -I'd better be careful what I wish for!-

DznyFan: That ice cream sounds delicious! Like a York peppermint patty. I love peppermint!! SCUBA diving at WDW - how cool! It would scare the living seas right out of me (water issues) but I hope you get your certification so you can do the dive. What a unique experience!!

I've got to find a way to fill the next 8 hours and look like I'm busy. It would be so much easier if I actually WAS busy - it's very hard work pretending to work!!

Ohhhh, this is a great game!! We went to my SIL's in Georgia (an hour and a half away) and her children got this game for Christmas!! It was sooooooo much fun. We all agreed it was more fun than the original Life. It's nothing like Life, though. But by the end of the game I was Capt. Jack Sparrow, I had the monkey as a Mascot and I owned the Black Pearl. I started out as Barbosa and had some dingy but through the course of the game and those "Raid" squares I acquired all of the above. I also won the game because I had the most money! It really was alot of fun.

ooh, now I really can't wait to play it!!!! (If I can find someone else who is interested ) How fast can you guys be here??

I sure did, but chose to ignore. J/K-----Believe me, I'm not a foodie ALL of the time. Give me a good Kraft mac-n-cheese any day!!!!!

2x: don't be nervous about meeting us for "real"! I can't speak for everyone else for certain, but I for one am about as nonjudgmental as you can get and I'm pretty sure the rest of us are too. Isn't that why we are the Cliqueless?

I think I have to make a dentist appointment once my coverage begins on the 1st. My teeth have been super sensitive to cold for a few weeks. I keep trying to ignore it thinking it will go away, but at dinner tonight it hurt almost too much to eat dessert! I'm not one who is terrified of the dentist, but it's definitely not one of my favorite activities. I have soft enamel and am prone to cavities no matter how much I brush, and I'm pretty sure I have at least one. Ick.

Aww, thanks, puppy!!! I told Donna one time that I type much more confident than I really am. It's easy to hide behind this screen. With what I am going through right now and with the side effects of the meds, it's just really hard for me. But, we're gonna have lots of fun, right??

I hate going to the dentist too----and my mom works for one!!! ick is right. Good luck!!

Dznyfan how exciting about the diving certification!! That what be an amazing experience to be in that living seas tank (it would scare me! ) it seems like you would feel sooo small being in that much water. It's amazing even to look at!! Good for you!!

Yolanda I know you are probebly very over the snow but we'd love to have some here! When I was watching the news Connor saw how much snow Denver got and said "We have to move to Denver right now!" because he wants snow so bad. Hope it's not so bad this time and you get to have your seafood dinner with friends on New Years, yummy!

Amber & Lyzziesmom I am also getting the funk I guess it's inevitable since both boys are coughing, sneezing etc. So far I just have a little sore throat let's up my immunity stays strong and I don't go much further down the road to sickness!! Hope you both (& Mike) feel better soon!

I am actually very shy, and I always just pretend that I'm confident and pretend that I don't care what other people think, and every once in a while if I pretend enough, it will start to really happen. You betcha we are going to have lots of fun in Feb!! I think it'll be great, because in so many ways we already all know each other, but it'll be fun getting to know our "real" selves as well. I for one am really looking forward to it! (also nervous, but pretending not to be.)

Angela: I too am a bread lover. And pasta, and rice. My mother calls me a starchitarian. She does the Atkins diet on & off and it works for her, but I'm convinced I would starve to death on it!

2x: I think I can be there in about 3.5 hours if the traffic is good. Get the game set up! But seriously, I am hoping to visit St. Louis sometime in the summer. (Mini-meet, anyone?) I love to take long weekend trips when I can manage it, and that's one of the places I've been meaning to go since I moved here from FL. I mean, I'm so close to the center of the US and can pretty much go anywhere from here, but I always end up at WDW! Hunh.

I saw those very same shot glasses!!! I thought they were darling, but talked myself out of them, asking myself why I need shot glasses??(because I had already bought so many other things) I tend to overpurchase for myself while on vacation, thinking I deserve it or something.

Humidity? In the midwest?? Remember, I lived in S.FL for 15 years, and 2 in TX and central FL for 2 years before that. I still need lotion for my poor dehydrated skin in summer here.

Donna: I get the AllEars newsletter! I liked the article this week about the favorite things. I hate when they just do dining reviews. Everyone has different tastes, and they just seem so uppity about it, always talking about how it's "going downhill." People, it's Disney World, it's not JUST about fancy-schmancy food. (sorry foodies)

I am a carbie foodie. Give me meat and carbohydrates. Preferrably a medium rare piece of filet mignon or prime rib with a side of roasted garlic and bacon mashed potatoes. You can keep the side of anything green or remotely vegetable-based. However..... this 'foodie' also is in heaven with a fresh corndog. Yummmm.... Carbs and meat by-products!

Hey all! We made it back last night from our 18 day honeymoon.. man was that the best trip ever! DH totally suprised me... a couple times!! We were supposed to stay our entire trip at the ASMo's... when we got to Orlando International, I went outside for a puff, and when I came back in, he was waiting by the magical express line up. Little did I realize, he was being very sneaky in standing in front of the AKL sign... he suprised me with our first 3 nights in WDW at the AKL Savanah view room! It was awesome! I have always wanted to stay there before! I can't believe he pulled that one off. : ) Anyhoo, I'm sooo exhausted, but wanted to let ya know I'm back. I'll give a trip report later. Me too. Mike can talk to anyone, but I'm usually quiet. However, when I get to know you, I can't shut up (Mike loves to tell me that I'm afraid of silence. )

I love carbs too. My mom eats chocolate like no other, but give me a potato chip. One of my favorite foods is potato salad (German, yellow, white, doesn't matter).
