Hello everyone!

I finally have some time to sit down and say hi. I haven't been on since I think Christmas Eve. I have a lot of catching up to do.

I lost my mind tonight! Brittany called when I was in the middle of doing something and asked if her friends could spend the night. Well I didn't hear the (s) part of friends and in the door comes 4 friends. I think I will be paying closer attention when she asks me something next time. To top it off DH is off playing poker with friends so it is me with a house full of obnoxious 12 year olds and 1 whiney 8 year old. I think I need a beer. Oh wait, I don't drink beer!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

2X - she was in good spirits when I got home. She said she nailed the vocal (singing), but didn't read for the part she wants. It'll get down the the 'nitty-gritty' next week during callbacks. I told her not to read too much into the fact that she didn't get to read for the part she wants. The other girl who did read for that part and who is as good (vocally) has a lot less actual stage experience. We'll see!

Well, we will definitely be keeping our fingers crossed for her!!!! I have no acting/performing experience (except if you count my first and only year of dance recital at age 5 doing "Hard Hearted Hannah"-- the vamp of Savannah----------boy, could I whip that feather boa around ), so I have no advice for her. From what you have told us, though, I'm sure she was wonderful and successful in her audition.



Lyzziesmom----I have never read the Chronicles of Narnia, but just bought the DVD at Target (on sale of course). I didn't even see it at the theater. Do the girls like it???? I guess I didn't realize it was a series-----only that "chronicles" in the title just, right at this very moment, hit me in the head like a brick. May I borrow your dunce cap, please?????!!!!! I'm shaking my head for you, don't worry.
I had to laugh at your "fancy schmancy" comment. I literally just used this phrase the other day. We must be on the same wave length, although I don't blame you for not wanting to admit it.

I bought Izzy the Disney Princess version of Junior Monopoly, but she informed me that she already has it, so now I get to return it. Does Lyzzie have this??

The Electrical Water Pageant!! This is such a fun little thing, and it always reminds me of seeing it by accident when I was a kid. We had no idea what this thing was, but I love the cheesy music and the whole silly shebang.

first of all-----girl scout cookies already????? I thought the ordering process doesn't even start until Feb. Little do I know!!!! I have to find some girl scouts now. Isabella was in it last year, but I don't know about this year. What a bad auntie I am----don't even know this information.

When I have stayed at WL I always had to watch the Water Pageant!!!! I do love it too------like you, so many memories of it as a kid. We should have a good view from the Poly beach. I may even get a Lapu Lapu to go for the walk down to the water-----hey, I'm not drivin'.

Lesa----speaking of Wendy's----I keep forgetting to tell you that when I was in WDW in October, we had to stop to fill the gas tank to the rental on the way to the airport. The gas station was connected to .......guess??.............a Wendy's. No kidding!!!! I took a picture just for you and was going to incorporate your addiction of the oh so frosty vanilla frosty in a trip report, but since that little ol trippie never came to fruition........here ya go.......

Hi, Crew!! Just got home a little while ago. Went out to eat at Lone Star. It was jam packed tonight and had to wait quite a while for our table.

I'm not going to try to catch up with all the posts right now, you chatty bunch, you!!! I LOVE it!!!

I noticed our favorite smilie returned!! Along with my second favorite. I guess our milk carton campaign paid off!!

Dznyfan, what Musical is Erin auditioning for? Tell her to Break a Leg!

I Love Disneyland, Welcome! I've been too DL twice, one with my marching band in HS for a day, and once during a theatre conference for a day when three of us skipped out and headed to DL instead of the conference. I wish I could go more but it is way more expensive than DW which shocks me. So, even if we start to plan a trip to DL we wind up at DW instead. I hope to get over there soon!

2x, glad your treatment went well today. BTW, I love your stories!!!! I have a similar one to the one with the girl with the same name. I went to Jr. High with a girl with my same first and middle initial and the same last name. Now, I was always a great student, great attendance, all that good stuff...Lauralee, not so much... We were getting calls at my house about "me" skipping school and letters about failing classes and everything. At one point I got grounded for failing three classes until I convinced my mom that it was not me. For all three years that we went to school together the school never did figure out the difference between us. Luckily my parents figured out pretty quickly that I was not really skipping class and failing.

I worked all day, 9-9! We are prepping for inventory so I spent the whole day in the back cleaning! We are getting lots of new stuff for adults and a lot of it is really cute! We are getting denim and belts and bags and all sorts of neat stuff...including adult mannequins. Crazy. Our next stage set is next Sunday and it should all be out by then, but our Valentines shirts are out and I REALLY want the Snow White/Prince Charming one!
