Well as you can all tell...I got nabbed by the signature police::cop:

I don't think they pay any attention to this thread because the link they sent was to another one I posted on last night. The PM's I got were not mean however they sent me 2...2 minutes apart!! Give me a break...I was asleep.

I was wanting to change my siggy anyway....now to find something good

OK on to today's trivia...

If you want to look up the answer, fine....but give everyone else time to guess it on their own before posting your answer.

Who is the voice of Big Al in the Country Bear Jamboree?

I had meant to tell you to check your sig the other day when 2x got nabbed, but it slipped my mind! :confused3 Teach you to stray off to other threads!;)

That's a toughie!!

Oh the horror! A box of printed photos??? That's SO last year.
Yes, I know......20 lashes for pozey.

And to top it off.........I have a bunch of video tapes (of various sizes) that I have not converted to DVD yet. :sad2: I'm so ashamed.

Good Friday Morning everyone!

Linda-- That's great about nursing school! You'll be a great nurse!

Lyzziesmom-- Keagan has been hinting that maybe we could get a dog at our new house. Our dog died last year (he was very old). We'll see.... Oh, and about the ummmm face story--- I think I would have died laughing!!!!

Lesa- My kitty is being nuetered (sp?) and de-clawed. I didn't want to de-claw him but his favorite chair to scratch is my husbands:scared: (ok what's with the smilies????)

Yeah 2 new ships!!!! I bet at least one is for the west coast. How fun! Speaking of cruises, I think my father-in-law and mother-in-law are going to join us on ours in December. That will be fun, expecially since it looks like we are moving.

Thanks everyone for the advice on the move and Keagan. He will be fine, I'm just being an overprotective mommy!

Well, I 've got a busy day today. The wine tasting is tonight. I hope everyone has a great day!

Poor kitty! When we had our cat(s) I wanted to get them declawed because they were and did tear up our leather couch along with other things. The vet refused and made me use those nail cover things. Did you ever try to super glue fake nails to a cat!:scared: :sad2: Tell Keagan it will be an adventure, and it will be fun to find new discoveries!

enjoy your vacation Michele! I'm on a mental vacation:rotfl: I've decided I just don't feel like doing anything:snooty: :rotfl2:

I was really in 'vacation' mode yesterday...I showered, dressed and made dinner...that was pretty much it for the day...I just vegged and man did it feel good!!:thumbsup2 (thumb)

Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Tonight is the Junior Miss Clawson pageant and some of Nick's friends are entered so he is going to watch that:confused3 Should be interesting.

Otherwise...Lesa and family and my sister are in town for the weekend so I'm sure there will be lots of chatting and poker games.

Linda: A mental vacation, I like that one! I think I've been on a mental vacation for about 6 months now. ;)

Speaking of declawing... I think I've mentioned before that my cats now have permanent residence at my parents' house. This happened several years ago. Well it turns out that unbeknownst to me (I wasn't living with them), my mom went and had one of my cats declawed because she was scratching up the new leather couch. This is a cat that I had never had problems with her scratching anything, as long as there was something appropriate for her to scratch on. I didn't find out about the declawing for THREE YEARS, until my brother snitched to me about it. I am still very angry about this. I finally confronted my mom and after first acting like she thought I knew, she admitted to being afraid to tell me. She knew I personally do not support declawing - but I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, Yolanda, I just don't want MY pets to go through it. Anyway, I asked mom if she had provided Cleo with anything else to scratch: "Well she goes outside and scratches the trees sometimes." That was it. She didn't even TRY anything else before she went & amputated poor Cleo's toes! For the record... Cleo is fine. She's not very bright and doesn't realize she is declawed - she still "scratches" on the couch and the wicker toybox all the time. Anyway, that's my declawing story.

I don't think I told you guys about my great shopping yesterday - I went to Kohl's and they had a ton of stuff for 80% off - I got 15 shirts and sweaters, plus two book/cd sets for the kids, all for $150!! I think the most I spent on any one thing was $18 on a cashmere sweater. I went home and cleaned out my closet, getting rid of anything I haven't worn in the past year and anything that was looking a little ragged. I am SO tempted to go back and check out pants/skirts and shoes.

Remember a few months back when I was so excited to get my first credit card since my bankruptcy many moons ago? Well I got a letter in the mail yesterday... they have increased my credit limit by 150%! That is SO tempting to book a quick WDW weekend... but NO! Emergencies only!! (Although not being able to get to WDW until after the summer feels like an emergency.)

just vegged...that sounds so wonderful! I've been dreaming about that... on the new cruise ship:rolleyes1 I bet it did feel good!

Kenny has a b-day party at Chuck E Cheeses on Sunday, that is all I know of at the moment. Mike did the house cleaning already:cheer2: he's so sweet!! So, we'll have to figure out something for tomorrow.

Lesa and family in town:cheer2: now that sounds like a good time!

I went to the same sale here! I didn't get as much - but 4 new tops/sweaters/shirts (whatever) for 40 bucks. I would like to go back myself.

Lyzziesmom- Awesome deal at Kohls!!! I might have to go check out mine. I just wish it was closer. Yay on the credit increase! WDW really does sound like an emergency though!:rotfl:

AHH!! An afternoon at Chuck E. Cheese...I remember those days...one of the lesser known forms of birth control :)

I feel the same way. I have a stack of work I need to finish, because it has to be submitted to the government by March 1; however, I just don't want to do it.

I would rather be: :beach:

Do you have any plans for the weekend?
Saturday, one of Colton’s best friends is having a birthday party. And his friend has a sister that is in the same class as Chase, so they are best buddies as well. The party is kind of an all day affair. They are meeting at Hideaway Pizza at 2:00 p.m., then they are going to a movie, and finally having a sleepover. And since Chase is friends……he gets to go along as well. So, it will be me, DW, and Courtney for the afternoon and evening.

DW has already said she wants to go to Runt’s BBQ for some ribs Saturday night. Sounds good to me. ::yes::

Oooo... Hideaway Pizza! I know what I'm picking up for dinner tonight! Thanks, Pozey.

BTW, Pozey - what kind of camera did you say you have? I'm considering a new digital.

oh yeah, my renter had a spring break on one of his garage doors. I guess we'll be going over to fix that. Then talk to mom about my plans to to sell and go to school. I just think it would make my life easier not to mess w/a rental while I'm going to school.

You are welcome!! :thumbsup2 (thumb) We are still debating on whether to go ahead and eat at Hideaway with the birthday party Saturday and then going to Runt's on Sunday, or just going to Runt's Saturday.

BTW, Pozey - what kind of camera did you say you have? I'm considering a new digital.
I have the Canon Digital Rebel XT. It is the 8 megapixel. I think the XTi is the 10 megapixel. You can get the XT for around 499 - 599 now I think. And there really isn't that big of a difference between 8 and 10 megapixel unless you are wanting to print poster sized photos.

DznyFan, I just got a Pentax K100D. It was about $500 including lens. There were several reasons I went with this one, but it was mostly the image stability in the body. The other DSLR's don't have that and the lenses that do can get pricey. With the Pentax, you have IS with any lens.
