Where's DznyFan today....Just thinking she might have some advice for my doggie!
Here - late. Had to take the child to the doctor. She sounds like she's going to cough up a lung. And she has to sing Sunday night and Monday night.

I haven't read your post on your dog - other than your brief one here that mentioned she's coughing. So she was coughing when you got back? That's one thing in all my dog owning years I've never really had any problems with. can you give me some details?

Bummer......thanks YM and DznyFan!

The music teacher said that they should be videotaping the Dress Rehearsal today, so I can hopefully get a copy.

Also - you should be able to get a DVD copy of the show from BATV, they'll charge $10. You can call the main HS for it, and ask to speak to someone from BATV.

Funny that you were talking about mind reading...you can't read my mind...hunh! :rolleyes1

Ok...I was thinking you might know about the cough because one of your Golden's had allergies...obviously a wrong conclusion. My two previous dogs never coughed. It's sounds like Sophie has more of the symptoms that your DD has...about to cough up a lung. What did the Dr say about your DD?

I'm taking Sophie to the vet this afternoon. I'll let you know what they say.

Dznyfan!!! I love your disney living room  especially those cruise pix on top;)!!!

I love the piece on the mantle too!!!the 3 mickeys...

I need to do my pins like that!!

shew...I don't feel so bad now :teeth: I love having disney all over... it just makes my day so much better to sit in my disney room for awhile :cloud9: so many great memories  ahhhh.... and so many more to come :cheer2:

great pix!!!!

Great pictures DznyFan...you guys have some great Disney rooms/decorations. We spend all of our money on the trips....not too much left over for shopping... :teeth:

pozey - oh no, you forgot your camera? Bad parent! Bad!! (j/k... I think getting the DVD is an excellent idea. Is this the same play that you had a scheduling conflict & can't attend?) At least you know where your camera IS. I've been turning my house upside down looking for mine. It's driving me crazy, I remember seeing it in the car and now I can't find it there. Thought it might be in the diaper bag... nope. The last I used it was in the backyard, and I know I brought it in because I put the photos on my computer. I know it'll turn up, but in the meantime, I'd like to take some pictures!!

DznyFan, nice living room! Very elegant and fun at the same time.

Linda, I went to WalMart at lunch today too! Didn't get nearly as much as you did (that was yesterday) - I actually had to get a refund because I was double-charged for eggnog yesterday. Did manage to pick up a couple things for the girls' room that I think will be from Santa.

Today's Cliqueless Question of the Day:

Who is your favorite Disney character and why?

I've always loved Dumbo, but lately I've been on a bit of a Minnie Mouse kick because Emma loves Minnie, and also because she is just so darn cute. I also really like the birds that sit around and say, "Whaddaya wanna do today?" "I dunno, whadda YOU wanna do?" because that is SO me.

Actually, I was thinking that Sophie's condition sounded remarkably like hers, too.... Does Sophie sound like a sea lion???
Yes, I've got a Golden with severe allergies, but they don't manifest themselves with the same symptoms that people get - dogs with allergies (watch for these) will lick their paws a lot, have itchiness, and our biggest problem is chronic ear infections. Good luck at the vet - let me know what he/she says!

Linda - yeah, I guess you could say we're a tad obsessive. It's cool though, when someone new comes into the house, especially if they're a Disney fan. I love my three Mickeys too - I got them at Art of Disney about 3 years ago. My DH's favorite store at WDW. There's stuff you just can't see well in the photo... I'm going to have to start trimming back on what's placed "out", because it's getting to be just too much, and looking too cluttered.

Question of the day!!! Goodie!!! :Pinkbounc
Fave character: I have never been able to come up with just one. There are too many that I really like, and for different reasons. I've always loved Simba, he's a little like me, sometimes - just kind of carefree, but when it comes down to it will fight fiercely for his family. Maleficent - also like me- my other side. Plus, she's black and purple. Belle - my Erin is Belle. Innocent, but not; not the most popular girl in town, and very independent. Jack Skellington (but not really Disney) because I've always loved his backstory; everybody thinks he's got it all, but down deep inside he's not happy - but falls in love with the concept of making every one else happy - then realizes all he needed was under his nose the whole time! And Tigger - again, carefree and happy.

OK.... so here's my Disney living room (before Christmas decor) Basically, this is all four walls. Pardon the quality (or lack thereof) of a couple of the shots.

In addition to my living room, I've got photos and an Old Key West watercolor in my hallway, I've got OKW watercolors and a DCL print and DCL map in my bathroom, half of my kitchen stuff is Disney, and I've got a 25th anniversary banner from the MK in my game room upstairs. It is a sad addiction for both my DH and myself. We've got 3 pieces of art that aren't framed and hung yet, too.
LOVE the pictures!! :thumbsup2

Yes....yes, I know. 50 lashes for pozey! :sad2:

lyzziesmom..double charged :sad2: I hate that! That is why, whenever possible, I go though the self checkout. I did today! I charged myself for a card twice :rolleyes1 and had to remove it...so that took a moment for the approval..but I'm very picky how my things are bagged... especially at the grocery store. I always try to bag them myself. I don't make it obvious...or rude at all...but I'd rather do it myself. I'm just rambling here aren't I...sorry! :teeth: I always misplace my camera too  if you had it at the computer, did you put it in a drawer? is it under a seat in your car? I always find mine in a drawer in the hutch in the dining room. I try to leave mine at the computer now so I know where it is.

Dznyfan...Art of Disney  I have to bring back a few items each trip too! Or more;)!! Aladdin hubba hubba... that's too cute... that made me think of Hercules :woohoo: now HE'S hubba hubba :smooth: too!!!

I'd have to say Mickey is my favorite...He's the first thing I think of when I think about Disney...It all started w/a mouse... but of coarse there are so many that are so lovable!! Simba, Pluto,Cinderella, Tink, Pocahontas...those are the ones that are at the top of my list...

Very difficult question.......

I can't just pick one, so......I'll name my favorites.

Winnie the Pooh - I have LOVED Pooh since childhood. I used to read all the Winnie the Pooh books that I could find.

Tigger - because my personality fits Tigger probably most of all. I have always been a very happy and bouncy person.

Donald - Because he is Courtney's favorite.

Linda.. I WAS using the self-checkout!! It was the last item I rang up, and I guess I didn't look before I hit the "finish & pay" button, and then I didn't have time to stand in line at the service desk - I had 4 minutes to get back to work! Luckily they didn't give me any trouble. I certainly hope I can find my camera, I have looked in all the usual places with no luck. I really think it's under the car seat, but I'm afraid to stick my hand in there. I did that in a friend's car once and sliced my wrist badly, ever since then I don't like rooting around under the car seat. I sent Lyzzie to the car with a flashlight the other day, but she could be looking right at something and still not be able to find it! (She's just like her mother.)

We are back from the vet. She has what would be bronchitis to an Adult. The vet said it sounds much worse than it is. I have two meds for her to take then we can come back and finish up the shots...he said about three weeks. Not sure where she would have caught this from since she is never around other dogs. I did have her nails clipped last week...that took about 5 minutes. Well, at $90.00 for the meds and visit I figure I better keep this little lady healthy! :teeth:

Oh...the character question...I'll just answer with ONE of my favorites because I have a bunch. Today I would say Snow White. Actually, I love her sweet voice and sweet nature....now matter what she does it's sweet. ::yes:: I can't really say I'm anything like her. :rolleyes1 :rotfl: (remember the rolling head)

Have you asked Emma where the camera is?

:rotfl: you WERE using the self checkout...sorry..had to giggle at that one. I use to never watch them ring my items at all... too busy taking care of a little one all on my own  ... now...I watch every single item. no matter who is ringing them up :rolleyes1 :teeth: 4 minutes to get to work... it must be CLOSE to work...wow! that's cool! Yeah... Dznyfan is right... Emma probably knows where it is :cloud9: Yikes, I'd be careful after that too! I'm always careful about that...just never know what is under there.

YM...glad Sophie has her meds and will be ready to steal some more goodies soon :goodvibes she just looks so lovable!!!

Maybe Emma took it so she can take some pix princess:

I spilt red soda in my car! :faint:

I just got out of school and went to get something to eat and I guess I didn't secure the drink I got good enough because as I turned the corner it spilt all over my passenger side mats! I was so upset because every light I was at turned green so I couldn't stop. I guess I should have. I could hear all the liquid swish as I would slow down or accelerate! And of course I get stuck behind a guy who had to slow down to look at something and when we were at a light that turned green, had to adjust his hat while the light was green. :furious: I wanted to honk, but these guys looked like the type of guys that might do something if I had honked, so I decided not to. Luckly my plastic tinkerbell mat caught most of it, but the mat underneath and the carpet are all red on the right side! Did I mention my carpet is tan???? It's times like this when I'm happy I work for a carpet cleaning company!!!! Hopefully my mats and carpet will be good as new tomorrow!
