OH! I almost forgot to tell you all..... I mentioned to the new boss that I would be out of town in Feb for a few days, and since it's a little bit before my vacation time takes effect can we work something out, and she said.... NO PROBLEM!!! So... I am definitely going to attend the Cliqueless Convention! (or Conference, or whatever the heck we are calling it this week.) D'oh! How could I forget to mention that??

I just noticed today myself that my vacation request was approved. Now, I just need to get the health thing in order and I'll be set. I'm crossing the fingers and the toes and everything else.

I never told you guys, but I just brought up the subject of my Feb. trip to my mother and sister about 2 weeks ago. I asked right before I booked the airfare.

Good morning all!! Well I'm in last minute pack mode and with the crazy weather in Orlando (did you hear flurries last night?) I'm stressed about what I'm bringing. I've been trying to do layers for everyone so I guess we'll be fine!

One bummer is my dh who is commission only had his check messed up so our funds for this trip will be tight which makes me stress. So our itinerary will be changed to reflect that the only TS meal we will be doing is Crystal Palace. A bit of a let down but it's not like we won't be going back in March!

My parents are coming up this morning and are going to take the boys to their house to spend the night and then we'll get to there in the morning. I already feel like I've forgotten something!!

Yummy breakfast Donna! I'm probably gonna' have cookies for breakfast . It's the one time that my DS and I have cookies all day long. Besides, a good chef always tastes her food My poor husband is going to come home to 2 very hyper people.

I was watching Ice Age-The Meltdown last night. It was cute, but not as good as the first one, I thought.

I went to the Adventures' Club on my trip. I had a good time. I didn't spend too much time there because I was feeling dizzy though. If ya'll go there you must have a Kungaloosh for me!

Its pie making morning for me then off to work. So far I have made Pumkin Pecan loaf cakes, a Chocolate Chunk, Coconut, Pecan pie and am in process of 2 deep dish butter coconut pies. My house smells soooo good that I really want to eat them right now! Can I do that and then claim that I forgot to make them? Hehehe.

Lin, since you're making so many pies, you should make an extra one just for you. You certainly deserve it, thats a lot of work! They sound delicious!! All I have to make for tomorrow is the sweet potatoes, and I might work on the cookie tree with the kids. Then again, we may save that for Christmas since I'm sure there my grandparents will be bringing lots of treats.

Since I got an unexpected 1/2 day off, I am taking the girls to have lunch with DBF! It will be more of an early dinner for us. They are so excited to see him, it's been a couple weeks since they have. I'm pretty excited too.

Hey Girl!

I saw a cute way of making "gingerbread houses" using graham crackers instead of gingerbread. They are so cute! You just use a bread knife to carefully cut them when you need different shapes than just the rectangluar pieces and then decorate them like normal. You can make whole little villages really quickly! I think it is the current issue of Martha Stewart Living.

Just wanted to pop in and tell everyone to have a Wonderful and Safe Thanksgiving!!

I am feeling worse and worse, so I think I am going to pack it in for the day.

Oh......and get this......

DW called earlier. See, we are going to her sister's house tomorrow for dinner. Well, there is this family that lives across the street from them. I get the feeling they are not great neighbors. Well, anyway, police, sheriff, ambulance, fire truck, you name it showed up over there. They see them wheel someone out in a body bag. Come to find out, either the dad or grampa OD'd. Wow. Very sad.

Well.....on that very depressing note.......I sincerely hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!! See you guys!!

I saw that too! The funny thing is, I never read Martha Stewart Living but my mom was paging through it the other day and I happened to see the adorable little graham cracker houses, and I thought, "I could totally do that!"

We are officially in our new home. I started writing this big old long move report for you all about a week ago but I didn't get to finish it. Then I got REALLY really sick and I was forced to go to bed for days and I never got to finish it. Now, I say ehh, it's old news, right? Anyway, here we are still trying to get acclimated (sp? Oh spelling nazi? ) to our new home and state. Boy, that's not fun. They want your first born just to get a driver's license here!! Well, they'll be waiting a long time because I can't even get pregnant! Anyway, I do need to get a copy of my birth certificate to get it but I can't get my birth certificate because they want a driver's license with my current address on it. Umm, yeah, that's the problem!! I can't get the driver's license without the birth certificate people!!!! I thought we were going to get to go home for turkey day and I could just physically go and pick it up but that's not going to happen so now on to plan B. And that requires DH requesting my birth certificate because he's my spouse. Oh, the red tape.

Anyway. I haven't even been checking in to the thread. . . sorry, I've barely been on the Dis so I hope everyone is doing well and has a very HAPPY Thanksgiving Day!!
