Hi, Everyone,
I just wanted to emphasize what a wonderful person DonnaLeah is. I am such a moron that last week I was looking at your thread (since I am a definite outcast, thread-killer kind of gal) and saw D's fabulous souffle. I was so overwhelmed by how delicious it looked, I did not notice the "cyber breakfast" note. I actually pm'ed her asking for the recipe. She was soooo sweet, that she did not ignore me nor call me stupid (which would have been well deserved), but just let me know that it was only a picture and then she invited me to join your thread. Thank you so much, DonnaLeah. There are a lot of people here that would just have ignored me (in fact, it happens all the time), but not this time. Anyways, just thought I would let you know one of yours spread some very sweet pixie dust.

Hi Linda---count me in on LeCellier.
I'm sure we'll recognize our little Cassanova----Kenny, not Mike. QUOTE]

You act like I'm a real proud momma that post pix of him all the time :rolleyes1 Kenny would probably be offended if you didn't recognize him :teeth:
I can't wait this trip is going to be so awesome!!!
I'm w/you...not a big Russell Crowe fan!

I'm known in her neighborhood for having the well-dressed kids.
:cloud9: doesn't that make you feel good!! I've always been knows for Kenny being the "best dressed" too...but you'll have that. He's an only child and I'm sure he's just a LITTLE spoiled :rolleyes1
Glad to hear your ablation went well. I did read and check in to see if/when you posted and thought about you all day! I see how back problems effect people...it kills Mike :guilty: !! oh man...good luck w/the never ending visitor!!

I used to say I never wanted any kids unless someone could promise I would have a girl!!! They have such cute girly things and the boys things always seemed kind of ho-hum. I of course did change my mind when I found out I was going to have a boy!!!
I know exactly what you mean. we were actually trying for a girl, I mean...I read the books and everything. I knew that day if we went forward it would be a boy...and after a year and a half and a few miscarriages I didn't care anymore...I just wanted to be pregnant!!!! And...here is Kenny  Now I wouldn't even dream of having a girl. I can buy cute clothes for my neices ::yes:: that is just fine! Actually, I can't complain about finding cute boys clothes too much. I get him mostly Ralph Lauren, Tommy, Gymboree, Disney....they always have nice stuff. Yay... I saw you ordered that denim shirt you were wanting :cool1:

Amber...hope you get your disney order straightened out. That is such a pain. but I've also had times that they've been awesome. I ordered a few polos and two came the same color :confused3 so I called them and they told me to keep both of them and they would also send the correct polo to keep the other for the hassle. So that was cool. Not that I need to shirts the exact same...but I can always give it to my mom or something :teeth:
you are almost at the 7 day mark :woohoo: My boss is leaving Thanksgiving day :thumbsup2 plus our $ guy will be there as well... man I wish I could go too!!!

keagansmom...hope things went well w/your dh's interview pixiedust:

Lin...yes those darn candles are SO addicting!! I love them!!!

YM... your poor ds...hope he's doing better!

pozey... I would feel the same way about the neighbors...unsure...but considering I see how Mike is now that he's retired w/nothing but time on his hands..he gets so bored!! I can see him going over and mowing the whole alotment just for something to do...It would take him a week b/c his back pains but he would do it.... I wouldn't take it too personally. If I were home all day and knew you guys I'd be there trying to help you out too. both working parents w/3 wonderful children and you're both such wonderful and involved parents. Don't let it get to you. :grouphug:
Oh...love Courtneys bedroom...cute Cherished Teddies lamp. I collect those. I've got a ton of them...so adorable. Cute baby picture too :cloud9: I have one of those w/Kennys name too w/all the info about the time he was born :thumbsup2

Angela... :woohoo: is it so much better now that the secret is out and they know you're going?? I'm trying so hard to keep our trip a secret!!!

Dznyfan...yay!!! everything turned on and hooked up party: sister for christmas...sounds like something small and simple. its the thought that counts. You sent her many things over the years. don't feel guilty about it.

Lesa... :grouphug: sorry about your car troubles. Nothing worse for me.

ohhh thanks for the heads up on disneyshopping!

Nicole :wave2: glad to see you back! can't wait to see some pix!!

did I tell you all I told Kenny I was taking him to a pirate party? but...I didn't tell him WHERE it was :teeth: ... I had to get something off my chest to get him excited and not blow the whole surprise....

Hi DisneymominOK!

Pozey- I love Courtney and Colton's rooms! Cute baby pic too!

Thanks for the complement on my siggy Donna!

Quick replies to (hopefully) everyone, then I'm catching up on my tv watching & going to bed:

DisneyMominOK... welcome, nice to see you!! Glad you enjoyed Donna's cyber-souffle, stop on in for virtual breakfast courtesy of our Miss D nearly every day (unless someone else beats her to it). Love your name! For those who don't already know, I am also a Sharon.

Nicole... welcome back! Sounds like you had decent luck in Vegas. The pics are gorgeous! Is that first one what I think it is? It looks like hundreds of paper drink umbrellas. LOVE the new sig!!

pozey... I see you are raising a gaggle of Disneyholics. Way to go! Nice decorating too. I keep meaning to put up some "after" pics of my new house - do you all remember the "before"s? - but I need to clean first and that's just not happening right now. Not to mention that it's still a work in progress. I found 3 framed Cinderella prints at Goodwill today for the girls' princess bedroom, now I just need to decide where to hang 'em.

Linda... My mom today offered to keep Emma for me during the Feb. trip if I pay her what I would have paid for Emma's airfare. My first thought was "who will Kenny play with??"

Donna... Okay, obviously I am not feeling like myself because I did not even think of what your DH (and our pozey too) thought about me and my lovely ...owls! I about split a seam laughing when I read that!! I must email the picture to a friend of mine whose favorite restaurant has a similar theme.

2x... can you believe I have NEVER seen Impressions de France? I've always wanted to, but I either got there right after it started & couldn't wait, or the rest of my party thought it would bore them to tears (like the Norway movie does to me, even though I am mostly Norweigian). I'm looking forward to seeing it with you for the first time! :3dglasses

Ashley, Angela, Lesa, Michele, (anyone else I've missed?) HELLO!! :wave2: What the heck has happened to April?? Does anyone know?

Hello, DisneyMomOK!!! :wave2: I was hoping you would join us, but you've got me blushing!! Please don't worry about being ignored. I was once a tagless, cliqueless, thread-killer. :goodvibes Well, I'm still tagless, but I just don't care any more. :teeth: Let me know when you are ready to try that souffle recipe, I might want to try a small sample. ;)

Nicole:: I love your Las Vegas pics!! Things have changed so much since I got married there 18 years ago, it's almost unreal!!

:rotfl: It does look like hundreds of paper umbrellas doesn't it! It was on the ceiling of the Bellagio.

Thanks for the complement on my siggy.

I am getting ready to head up to bed but just had to tell you about something that happened tonight.

I went to the MS PTA meeting and when it was the principals turn he mentioned that we are studying the possibility of offering gender specific classes next year. Each academic class if offered 4 times a day so it would be for example 1 girls English class, 1 boys English class and 2 mixed classes and the parents would get to decide which one their child was in. One of the mom's asked what the advantages of this were and he started by saying that studies have now proven that the female brain at rest is working faster than the male brain at work :thumbsup2 then he is just wandering from tangent to tangent til finally he stops, looks at this mother and says, "what was your question again?" :rotfl2: :lmao: I thought all the women in the room were going to bust a gut from laughing so hard :rotfl: The men surprisingly didn't find it so funny!!!

Sorry Pozey :rolleyes1 Oh I love the kids rooms!!

"talk" to you all tomorrow!!!

You got married in LV! Cool!

I think we need to have a cliqueless convention in Las Vegas!!!! And we could stay at the Excalabur. I told Steven it reminded me of WDW because of the castle and he agreed. Oh I forgot to mention, he won $500! :cool1:

Lyzziesmom- Going back to what you said a day or so ago about telling your mom about us, my mom would say the exact same thing. I think she would laugh at me too. :(

:welcome: DisneymomOK

I got a call from the dealership today telling me that oops they wrote down the wrong mileage so the van is still under warranty. They also told me that the battery was bad and it was not covered and it would cost me $125 to put a new on in. Ummm, NO! I told them I would take it somewhere else. They said they didn't know if it would start because it was sitting dead in the shop. O.k. then you can jump it when I get there. Well it miraculously starts when I get there no problem so I take it over to sears to get a new battery $56  Sears tells me that the battery is fine the alternator is bad. We call the dealership back and ask if they checked the alternator and they say that is fine, it is the battery. O.k. so which is it? I am kind of leaning towards the dealership giving me a bunch of bull as the alternator is still under warranty. So now I have to deal with this all again tomorrow and take it back to the dealership. :furious: DH calls me after an evening of playing cards and drinking and says "Hi hunny, how's you day?"

Good morning everyone!!! I think I'll grab a bagel before I start my day today. Hey, you guys pull up a chair and join me. Cream cheese anyone?

bagels.jpg

I hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday!!!

Michele:: That is HILARIOUS about the school's principal!!! Just don't understand why the men didn't laugh. :rolleyes1 Having seperate clasrooms for English; would that be legal? :stir: Not trying to start anything, but that does seem a little weird. Just wondering out loud.

Lesa: I hope you find out what is really wrong with your van. Is there another dealership fairly close by where you could take it? In the 31/2 years I had my Dodge Caravan, I had to replace the battery twice. Anyway, you handled roofers and siding people, I'm sure auto repairmen will be a piece of cake for you!! :thumbsup2

Angela::Do you have an itinerary? Or are you all like us, sometimes it's hard to know what we'll be in the mood to do. Now that the boys know aboutthe trip you are free to burst into Disney song any time you wish!!!

Not much going on in my house today. Work, of course, and then I have to pick up fund-raiser Butter Braids from Nathan's school.
I ordered Nathan his Guitar Heroes he had been wanting for Christmas. There is a new one that has come out and finding the old one with the guitar was nearly impossible. I did find the old system from Circuit City with free S&H! That is the only present I've bought so far.
Well, better run. Talk with you all later!!! :wave2: :joker: (because Amber likes this smilie)
