Linda: STOP IT!! I wish I could join you, but that 401k really didn't have much in it, I had only been contributing for about a year so it's just enough to cover the Feb trip and hopefully my new tires! BUT I am holding on to the hope that we can do a cruise next year for my birthday... even if it's *gasp!* not DCL.

Lin: Lovely pix! Now cut that out!! (j/k... post away darlin')

YM: Your yard looks a lot like mine. I think I will have to send Lyzzie out tonite to fill up the birdfeeder, since I don't feel like slogging through the snow and she loves it. I took a couple pix that I'm uploading now, will post them shortly if they look ok.

Sorry :guilty:  :teeth:
When is your birthday?

I'm still thinking I should go work up at the Cleveland airport 2 days a months so I can get the HUGE travel discounts!! I'm going to have to check into that for sure. Their rates are just unbelievable. I hate knowing about discounts that I cant have :sad2: Yes, tires are MUCH more important.

not DCL :faint: j/k ;)

Hey there Nicole... :wave2: we WILL have to do a cruise one of these times for sure.

You know, my in-laws are taking us on a cruise in June, and we miss the last DCL 7 day by two weeks! We were so bummed. We are cruising on Royal Caribbean instead, at least its a cruise and I don't have to pay for it!

Has anyone ever recieved the Magical Express vouchers without flight information on them? I just realized mine don't have any on it.

Do you mind my asking what you guys do for livings? It just occured to me that I have no idea!!

I hope you enjoy the selection!!

Well, either the snow missed us, or it hasn't made it here yet. Gary is attempting to drive in to work today, like anyone will be there!
Nathan's school isn't on the closing list. He's going to be pretty disappointed. I did notice in the radio station's website that the next county west of here the schools are closed due to power problems. I can hear the wind blowing pretty strongly. Just afraid all the rain from last night might have frozen on the roads!

Here is Amber's itinerary for today!!

12/01:
AK
dinner at Boma
-------------------------------------------------------
eta:: DH just called. He's heading back home. Ran into heavy snow about 35 miles west of here!!

Donnna...thanks for the pastries.....you are turning into a short order cook. :teeth: Darn for Nathan...no snow day. I hope DH made it home safely. :goodvibes

Amber  can't wait for your restaurant reviews! popcorn::

Ok...I started this post about an hour ago.....I can't remember what I had to say....kids and snow=lots of work. :teeth:

Lesa...wow...you are very close to Chicago...I checked out the map. Glad ya'll ;) enjoyed the Nutcracker.

Michele...I meant to post a :woohoo: for Matts' A! Glad you missed the snow because I'm sure you get enough....hope the rain stops soon. When is Blake coming home?

Lin...your doggies are so cute. How much do they weigh....thye look so tiny?

April....do you ever read the dining reviews on the restaurant board? Yum! Glad you had your favorite eggs this morning. My DS requested a poached egg on toast (his grandma makes this for him if she is out for one of my workdays). He complained about the one I made and almost refused to eat it. Little stinker....I think he likes the yolk a little softer than I cooked it. :teeth:

DznyFan...Your DD was very late! Did it cuase her to run behind like it did me? ;) So there will be a few birthdays around Christmas this year. :Pinkbounc Hope you are enjoying your day off. Getting the house cleaned? :dance3:

2xcited....oh good grief....what can you say that's allowed? :teeth: My mom said my dad's boss said see you tomorrow except for the wimps and then worked from home. :confused3 I heard my boss MADE people come in yesterday...I guess I lucked out....today our whole business was closed. Please be safe. :goodvibes Hope to see you back here soon with a cup of cocoa. :surfweb:

Linda....keep on posting...those pictures are wonderful! Hey I forget to tell you...glad to hear the news about your x's wife....I really hope they stop seeing that sweet little boy :goodvibes Kenny :goodvibes Keep us posted.

Ashley...hope to see you sooner than 2 weeks....that's a long time. :sad2:

Hey Angela...how's the weather where you are?

Lyzziesmom...I guess your girls are out today too? Still with Grandma? Hope your back is better today...be careful on the ice and snow.

Nicole...did you have any storms or cooler weather yesterday?

Well....back to the wet clothes and floor. :teeth:

Linda and Nicole,
maybe thats what we should plan for the 2008 meet, everyone start saving now!

Hey YM! Minnie is about 7 pounds and Sassy is 14. Sassy is a large breed pomeranian and when we got her she was 22 lbs! Last month when we took her in for shots she was officially put in the "healthy weight" catagory for her size, she was so proud. My dog got to her ideal weight...I'm having much less luck!

Lin...what great in-laws :woohoo: Free is great!!
I've never done ME before. Sorry. I try to drive. I like having my own car there. even though it is a 16 hour drive

I've worked in telecommunications the last 10 yrs. Man that makes me sound old :rolleyes1 I'm only 29, honest. Mostly accounting...reconsiling the books, billing jobs, quality, hr, ap, ar, timesheets... you name it.

hmmm maybe if Erin is in the Candlelight pro. next Dec....we can do a land/sea pkg then :cheer2: that would be too awesome!!

YM- Yesterday at about 8am it was in the 70's and not even 5mins later at I was going to work it came down to the 60's!!!!

Lin- That's a great idea! What does everyone else think? Me and Steven were planning to go back in Dec 2008 anyways.

I work at a carpet company and go to school. I am studying to become a travel agent.

Nicole, I have always thought of becoming a travel agent. Our district gives out my name and our store phone number and people are constantly calling me to help them with their Disney vacation. I send them all straight to the Dis!

My mom, aunt and I want to start a wedding business, buts a while away. I'm stuck in retail right now!

2008 cruise meet sounds fantastic to me!!!

Lyzziesmom...I found a pix of Kenny @ 2 1/2 w/that blankie so he must have lost it right before he turned 3. We were Christmas shopping at a huge mall here in Columbus...wooops!this was on his 2nd cruise...

something about those tropical waters just make me feel warmer :cloud9:

ym...I sure hope so too! I can't wait to see what he does. Kenny was there last night. I don't say anything to him about it. Just wait to see what they tell him.

Nicole..that will be awesome. My boss' wife is a ta and works from home. That I would love!!! Being a ta, and working from home :woohoo: sounds great to me!

Lin...a wedding business would be a lot of fun. :goodvibes

And for my 1000th post...

If we start saving 60.00 a month each we can take a night cruise in December of 2008 (provided prices are the same). Inside room catagory 11. Tah-dah! It is my hope to be out of retail by then making a December cruise a possibility!

Pozey...wow, what a scary start for Chase. Did he aspirate some amniotic fluid? Sorry your birthday was forgotten.
The doctors never did come to a conclusion as to WHY he had pneumonia. They had several theories…..including aspirating amniotic fluid. But nothing was conclusive.

pozey... sorry you had to finish a project today! Does Chase like his birthday being Christmas eve? I'm glad my b/d isn't until April. At least by then the weather is getting nicer out.
Actually, I do think he likes his birthday being on Christmas Eve. We have family over every year for the birthday/Christmas Eve celebration. We make sure that he opens his birthday gifts before anyone talks Christmas gifts.

The one downside is that he hardly ever gets to have a cool birthday party with school friends because of school being out and the holidays. I have told him that someday we will celebrate his birthday IN DISNEY WORLD.

Both Colton and Courtney’s birthday is in April. Four days apart to be exact.

Congrats on your 1000th post party: :rockband: party:

sounds good to me!! :woohoo: :cheer2: :woohoo: If you rebook while onboard don't you get like a $200 onboard credit and great rates...hmmmm I'm not sure how many rooms I could book..but I think they require $200 pp deposit. Ohhh that would be so incredible.

Linda: My birthday is in October, so there's still plenty of time to plan/save for a cruise! If not this year, then definitely next!

Lin: I work as an Administrative Assistant at a publishing company. I work the front desk and also assist with facilities issues and HR and pretty much whatever else needs to be done.

I am trying to get a hold of my brother and/or his girlfriend to see if they will babysit the girls tonight so I can take my new coworker up on her party/girls night out invitation. DB and his GF never answer their phones or listen to their messages so it's not looking too promising! I didn't even ask my mom, she has had them for 2 nights and is ready to give them back! The party isn't until right at their bedtime, so it's easy babysitting, I'll pay DB and GF to just watch my tv and eat my food. Who'd pass up that deal?

Here's a couple pictures I took outside last night, before the "big" snow really hit. It was with my camera phone so please excuse the crummy quality:

(ETA: Fixed the picture. Stupid Photobucket didn't update the link and I posted the same picture twice!!)

I was going to say more but I have forgotten.
