My dear Lin----

I know you are super tired, but as I was reviewing the tea recipe----I must ask what two leaping tablespoons are, sugarpie??

Lizard related, maybe??

sorry, couldn't pass that one up. :teeth:

Get some sleep, hun.

Duh, its like in Mary Poppins where they leap into the chalk drawing on the sidewalk to get to the woods! You have to leap directly into the teaspoon to make the tea!

Or maybe it was supposed to be heaping teaspoons...I'll check with Bert and get back to you. :teeth:

K, I will go to bed now, just for you, but first I have a story.

Since we spent yesterday talking about smelly cars you would think I would have thought of this, but no. On Monday night I got a Peppermint Mocha at Starbucks to get me through my super late night...left it in the car...found it this evening on my way to my moms...car is very stinky...like bad milk!
And thats my story.

Now I'm off to bed.

Night everyone!!!!

Ok, I read this twice and just got the leaping lizards thing...DUH!!! I also wondered what Lin meant!

I will have to say I laughed out loud... and just to add too the fun

Ten lords a-leaping......five golden rings.....two turtle doves.... :rotfl:

I didn't really feel like I should comment since my typing is the super duper bad! :joker:

Hi everyone :wave2:

YM: So sorry to hear about your sons hives. I totally know how he feels!! When I was younger (probably around his age) I went through several months of breaking out in hives all over my body for no reason. :confused3 I actually didn't mind because everytime it would happen I would call my mom to come pick me up from school. :teeth: It also happens to me when I take antibotics, because I'm allergic to almost every one you can think of!! I hope he's feeling better.

Hello to everyone I missed! Hope you are all having a good week. And a big welcome to all the newbies!!! :sunny:

Hey Ashley...good to hear from you. :listen: What can you take when you get sick...? I'm going to need to find out from his Dr if this means just Omnicef or all cephalosporins? That's a bunch of meds if that is the case. Hey...I actually sent my DS to school that morning because he didn't want to miss but he went to the office around 11am because of the itching. Then they called me and I felt bad because they are asking me if I knew that his rash was that bad??? HMMMM how do I answer that. I knew they were hives (99.9% sure...so he was not contagious) becuase my younger DS got them all the time from a milk allergy (but not near as bad). Anyway there goes his perfect attendence...now he will probably be calling more frequently. Last year he came home one day because he got some pepper in his eye. ;)

Hey good luck with your shopping. We will do a little with my brother. He wants to buy my boys some suits for Christmas. He keeps them in fancy clothes from Talbots and Polo...etc. :thumbsup2

oopsie...I just looked a the clock...tomorrow is a work day for me... :rolleyes1

Pumpkin time.

hey DznyFan...so I've got friends in high places. :rotfl2:

YM: I'm allergic to almost all of them. I know I'm allergic to Penicillin and anything in that family. The only antiobotic I can take that doesn't give me a reaction is Tetracylcline. Apparently doctors don't usually prescribe it because they have stronger, better ones out now but anytime I get sick its what I get. I better get these things written down (all the antibotics I'm allergic to) incase there is any kind of emergency and I need to take some stuff! Everytime I have to go to the doctor now I just call my mom to get the list of things I'm allergic to. :rolleyes1

Good morning Cliqueless Crew!!! :wave2: You all were so chatty I finally had to post breakfast without reading all the posts!!! I LOVE it when that happens!! :goodvibes How about an omelet this morning?

sfo_brentwood%20bowl%20omelet.jpg

Sorry Lyzziesmom, I know you don't like eggs.

I hope everyone has a Thoroughly Fabulous Thursday!!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Okay!!! I have warmed up my typing fingers and have another cup-o-coffee by my side; I think I'm ready to catch up!!! :thumbsup2 :surfweb:

Amber:: Are you down to 6 days now?? Leaving on Wed.; how long is your drive? I've made my ressies for your trip and will have my camera handy! ;)

Linda: I just don't know what to say about The situation with Kenny's dad! I'm sure the courts take these types of situations very seriously. I'm sending you and Kenny bunches of hugs :grouphug: because I really can't seem to find the right words. Thand God you and Kenny have a terrific person like Mike in your lives!!

Angela:: I have a note of where you itinerary is!! Are you all leaving on Friday the 24th? I know you have to be sooo excited! Yippee!!! :yay: :yay:

Lesa:: Jeepers!!! I'm glad you finally got you van fixed. That was somewhat of an ordeal!! I can just imagine me grabbing the car repairman by the collar and telling him to fix the @#??!! car!!! :teeth:
Gracie's escape talents have me cracking up! Give her a scratch behind the ears for me when you get a chance! :dogdance:

pozey:: That's really neat that Chase wanted a hug and kiss at scholl and in plain sight of his peers. When I take Nathan to meet the bus I always have to hug him before the school bus is in sight.

DznyFan::All the wind in OK yesterday must have blown rain up here!!! It's still raining this morning and I think it did most of the night! Yeech! I'm ready for some sunshine! :sunny: BTW, The tea mix in a fancied up juar sounds like the perfect gift for your sister. :thumbsup2

YourMajesty:: I was going to buy mu P&P and reg. park tickets yesterday, then I changed my mind. Now I think I may purchase them ahead of time. Decisions, decisions. :teeth: Try not to get blown away...no telling where you'd end up!! ;)

2x2s:: Good luck with the insurance co. It helps a lot that the Drs. are fighting for this treatment. At least you won't have to argue with the co.by yourself.
I think I could take an 18 min. Canadian movie a time or two. Did you say there was a wine shop close by?? :drinking1 j/k

Lin:: Sour milk smells are the worse!!! Hey, that tea recipe sounds really good. My MIL would probably enjoy it a lot.

Ashley:: Hello, how ya' doin'?? :wave2: You are one brave Chicka getting out on Black Friday!!! I drove to the mall one year and the exit ramp was lined up for about a mile!! :scared1: Makes shopping an adventure, however.
I think my Mom, Sis and Niece have a shopping trip planned for the first weekend in Dec.

Michele: Ouch!!! Watch those knives. Thanks for the explanation about the boy/girl classes. I was just a little curious about that.

Well, I don't mean to leave anyone out, but I got to run!!! Have a super day !!

Good Morning!

It's raining here and we are suppose to have nasty weather all day. I can't believe I have under a week to go! I am so excited!! :Pinkbounc

Donna, the drive should take about 14 hours (I'm hoping for 12). Last year it took about 14 hours, but we were stuck in traffic twice. Once on I95 (a tractor trailer had flipped and was on fire) and again on I4 (no idea why we were stopped. We were close enough to out exit I could have walked).

Michele, :grouphug: I don't cook at all, because I just know that I will cut myself (yep, I don't even cut apples). Hope it heals quickly!

Ashley, you are brave to attempt Black Friday. Mike and I went a couple years ago to get a game boy. Walmart said that they would not put them out until 5am. So, we woke up very early and were at Walmart buy about 4:30am. It was a madhouse! They had already put out the game boys and they were gone! One lady had at least 20 in her cart. I told Mike if it weren't for the TV she had on top the cart, I would have taken one and ran  I did call and speak to a manager in regards to why they were put out early, but he was very rude. Walmart did end up giving me one after the fact for the same price and they apologized for the rude manager.

Lin, thanks for the recipe! I think I may have to make that.

:wave2: to everyone! Have a great Thursday!!

OUCH!! Hope it isn't too bad.

Glad you had a good lunch with Chase today. That is very sweet of him to request and hug and a kiss in front of his peers.
Great pics, btw.
I'm not sure I realized that your mom had passed as well. I'm sorry to hear that. :grouphug:
Chase is a very affectionate person. He loves to be hugged and kissed. And when we watch TV on the couch, he likes to snuggle right up to me.

Yeah, my mom passed away in January of 2003. She had been in bad health for several years. I miss her terribly, and so do the boys. She absolutely adored Colton and Chase. DW was pregnant with Courtney when she passed, so she never got to meet Courts. And I can guarantee that she would have gone completely crazy for Courtney.

Great news! I hate vehicle problems!!

Yeah, pretty much so. Sometimes they will tend to get a little messy, but usually they are pretty clean.

Yes, you do. Pretty high - 8th floor. :rotfl:

Pozey - how sweet Chase is! you're so lucky, your kids haven't gotten old enough yet to look at you as though you were toxic waste....
Sad to hear that your mom never got an opportunity to meet Courtney. I agree, I bet she would have been crazy about her!

pozey said:
Or is it??...???
Shhhhhh..... don't tell anyone.

Linzy - sour milk... ewwwww! And one of those peppermint things sounded really good - until I read that!

Lesa - so good to hear that they took care of your battery. Any more escape attempts from Gracie?? We had a Golden a few years ago (he's since passed) that was a great escape artist! He even un-wove the chain link fence once. I'd get at least one call a day at work from a neighbor who had him, and had to drive home and pick him up. I finally gave up and installed dog hot wire around the base of the fence. He was REALLY smart, and figured out how to work things so he could get out. At that time, we had a pond up the street from our house, and he'd go there sometimes to go swimming. Frustrating!

2x2s - when will you know if this new treatment is working? pixidust: and :grouphug: that you get better! I really hope the insurance company comes through for you.

Ashley's attempting Black Friday??? you need lots of prayers, darlin'. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Donna, a fabulous breakfast as always! What would we do without you?

starve.

See ya'll later!

ok. so I'm supposed to be getting ready for work and instead I'm on here enjoying a wonderful breakfast (thanks Donna) and catching up on all I missed. :)

Michele- I hate cuts on the hand, they seem to take forever to heal. Hopefully this one will heal quickly. Just so you know, I had a bad time cutting up a whole chicken to cook (when I was young and first married). My husband insisted we buy a whole chicken because it was cheaper. Well, needless to say my husband came home to a wife whose fingers were covered in bandaids and a very mangled chicken. Nuff said, I bought them cut up from then on and he didn't say a word.

Shoot- I've gotta go, My cat just tipped over my coffee all over my keyboard.

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Michelle- Ouch! Be careful around those knifes!

2X- Good luck with the insurance co. Hopefully they will take care of everything. :grouphug:

Ashley- Last year I went to the mall on black Friday at 6am just to get a free purse. Never again. :sad2: But I did manage to get some shopping done. This year I have done absolutely no shopping. And I won't be going shopping the day after Christmas. 2 years ago I was stuck at the mall in the parking garage for 2 hours trying to get out!

Pozey- I'm sorry to hear about you mom. I'm sure she would have adored Courtney.

Lin- I wanted one of those Peppermint drinks too.... now maybe not! Well I still might get one!

Mornin' glories---

First of all, I cannot believe it is just a week until Thanksgiving!!!! Where has this year gone??

Hi Ash!!! Missed ya!! Glad to see Ruby's smiling little face too.
Good luck on Black Friday-----you've got more patience than I, my dear.
Don't feel guilty----I never see Norway either----it's just too loud and "clangy". I cannot pass up France though----just beautiful and relaxing---completely different than Norway.
Sorry about the confusing leaping lizard reference-----just a little Annie humor. :teeth:

........NINE LADIES DANCING

:teeth:

Oooh Donna-----yummy----I'm starving!!

I think I could take an 18 min. Canadian movie a time or two. Did you say there was a wine shop close by??

yep, and I even read that there is a new kiosk with Grand Marnier and Grey Goose Citron slushies!!!!! hmmmmm---anyone getting the same idea??

Amber---I can't stand it when a store is out of something you need and then you spot one---or 20 :rolleyes1 in someone's cart!! Good for Walmart for making good on the situation.
Don't worry about your bad weather-----soon to be in the World!!!! :cool1:

Pozey----yes, I'm sure Courtney would have melted her heart!! But, she knows. :goodvibes

DznyFan---you had me laughing with your toxic waste comment!! We NEVER did that, right?? :teeth:
Thanks for the well health wish. If the insurance company approves, I will start the treatments-----one per week for four weeks, then a possibility of repeating it in about six months. They will take 8 hrs. the first treatment, but then they can shorten the next three to four hours if I do alright with them. Allergic reactions usually happen during treatment time. These treatments are in addition to my regular IVIG which I've been doing for a long time----my usual monthly, three days a week for four hrs. that I always talk about. I'm not sure how long it will take to see if they work. I'm assuming we will be able to tell a difference pretty quickly. Or at least I'm hoping.

Keagansmom----how do you clean coffee off of a keyboard?? Just wondering. Good luck with that.

Nicole---okay, I think I would have had a nervous breakdown if I were stuck in a garage for two hours. yikes.

Gotta run------have a good day everyone!!!!

Just back from our local Disney Store and got us so cute t-shirts "ON SALE" for our trip next week! :cool1: I had fun talking to the CM about our trip. I ended up buying a tinkerbell shirt but really wanted to buy the sparkley shirt that says "I Love Jack" but I thought maybe not a good idea with dh and all! :rotfl2:

Ashley if I were staying home I'd be out on Black Friday. My mom and I leave out of here at 4:30 (that's a.m) and drive about 40 minutes to the outlet malls in Pigeon Forge (or Pigone Forgay for those not local :rotfl: ). That being said I hate, hate shopping but it's fun to go out with my mom we walk around and find a few deals, I'm never on a mission for something and we're at the Pancake place by 9am. Have fun!

Michelle ouch about the cut! Hope that heals quick (and gets you out of washing dishes for awhile). :grouphug:

Keagansmom :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I was laughing as I imagined you cutting up a whole chicken as a newlywed with the bandaids on. Those are things that are funny when you look back on them.

Donna--Thanks for the omelette, I love eggs so I'll eat Lyzziesmom's portion!

2x2s I hope insurance approves your treatments! Refresh my memory because I've been trying to remember what you are getting the IVIG for, if you care to share. :goodvibes

Nicole I missed the post about being trapped in the garage!! I would've gone a little wacky myself!

Pozey I was showing my dh the pictures of Coltons room and as I was scrolling down he said "wait go back up" and then he said "Oklahoma" (he saw the pillow). He's a big College football fan too, we've got season tickets for Tennessee "Go Big Orange!". Very sweet about Chase and lunch! Have you ever read the book "Five Love Languages", he sounds like physical touch.

All right all I'm going to do my favorite thing now......clean whoohoo!! :woohoo: :woohoo: Check ya'll later!

Cool that your DH is a college football fan! One of Tennessee's best players - a wide receiver (can't think of his name right now) - is from Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa.

We actually have "Love Languages" here in our group at work. The department head is a big believer in it, so we all had to do it. My number one is.....physical touch. Imagine that.

Hello again. My keyboard is finally dried out but some of the letters are a little stiff. I soaked up as much as I could with kleenex and then took a hairdryer to it. :teeth: Hopefully some of the stiffness will go away after I type on it for a little while. If not, guess I'm going out to get a new one. :confused3 Oh well, can't get mad at the cat, he's just a kitten and into everything. It looks like my "n" is sticking. bummer.

Oh well, it's going to be one of those days. My disposal quick working and my dryer is making a noise. On the bright side, it looks like I'm going to get to go shopping :teeth: .

2xcited- hope your insurance comes through.

Well, I've gotta go grab some lunch. Have a good day. Ok, definately a new keyboard is needed- you can't see this but I'm having to erase a ton of "N"'s every time I hit that button.
