I am wondering what you thought?? I kind of wish they had put a counter service type place in Italy.

We ordered salad and pizzas. The pizzas were better than what you can get in 60-70% of this country. But not better than what I can get in my neck of the woods which is a reknown pizza mecca. Still, it was fine, and 2 pizzas will easily serve a family of four. So you get a TS meal at close to half the price of most other Epcot TS restaurants.

I HAVE I HAVE!!! And I'm definitely going back...best pizza I've ever had. I had the Quattro Stagioni pizza- eggplant, artichokes, parma cotto ham, mushrooms, mozzarella - and the Zeppole di Catarina - ricotta cheese fritters with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Both were AMAZING. I also had a yummy glass of Sangria which is reason enough for me to go back to this restaurant. My ressie was for 8:45 and I was given a window seat in the inner back part of the restaurant, so when Illuminations began I was able to see some of the fireworks. Definitely give this one a try.

Dh and I went in Dec. We are NY pizza snobs. Dh had the pizza, we shared the salad and I had the eggplant. We both didnt care for our meals at all. The dessert I had was good. We wont be going back. We like Tutto much better.

You can read my review on the dining review board. It is also VERY noisy in there!! And the service was really slow. The diisappearing server couldnt be found for drink refills etc.

The pizza is closer to what is served in Italy than here in the US. I was surprised at how similar it is to what we had in Italy. If you like that type of pizza, you will enjoy this.

I did not care for the restaurant. It was hella noisy. I was stressed just dining there.

We ate there in Dec-DH, and our two children ages 4 and 16 months.

We loved it, BUT we didn't order pizza. DD had the kid's spaghetti with meat sauce and loved it. DH had a pasta dish with seafood-amazing. I had veal parmiganna and it was delicious. The portions were very generous. We were seated in the little side room and didn't find it noisy at all. The service was a bit slow-but that is how things are in Italy-relaxed family environment. If we did need something we were easily able to track down a server to ask for assistance.

Just got back a week ago and ate there, won't be going back.I have lived and travelled for years in Europe/Middle East/Africa and never had anything like what I had there, even in Napoli.Pizzas were similar.Everything we had was blander, smaller, expensive even for Disney.Il Mulino is worth the walk and it's not that much more expensive, much nicer setting.

Glad I didn't take the MIL as she lived half her life in Italy and half in NY before moving in with us.I'd get blamed for it:laughing:

Our family is trying it for lunch this May. We are looking forward to it. I showed my kids and DH pictures of the pizza, and they immediately had me call and add the ADR to our reservations. We all love pizza in ovens like that though. DH is born and raised in Bergen County NJ and works in NYC, so he eats a LOT of pizza like that! So did I when we lived in Bergen County, but I'm not the huge pizza eater DH and our sons are. ;)

I'll report back after our trip and tell you all what we thought. :goodvibes

DW and I had a mixed bag when we went there in September. The atmosphere was good and we really like the House salad, but the Pepperoni Pizza while OK, wasn't worth $28. I know its WDW and high prices are expected, but I expect high quality for that high price. like I tell everyone, try it once and then go from there.

We went the first week they opened, last summer.

We thought it was definitely the best pizza in Disney. We had the huge margharita pie and it was plenty big enough for all 5 of us. We had the rice balls too.

We liked it so much we are booking it again for our July trip!

i think i was expecting too much b/c i didnt think the pizzas were extraordinary, it was just a thin crust with minimal toppings, the cheese was good on it. I expected to have bread as a starter but they never brought out anything. dessert was good, the fried dough balls with warm sauce was better than the ugly but good sundae. there was barely any seating when you are waiting to be called, and it doesnt help to request that you have your own table, they still put us at the huge table with 18 seats but luckily only one other party was there and then they all left. so at one point we had the table to ourselves.

Yes, it is the best pizza at WDW, BUT that is faint praise, as the pizza at WDW has been underwhelming for decades. The pizza is good, but not as good as the real thing, which it is purported to be. A large pizza is $30, which is typically Disney overcharging, but it seemed like alot of crust with minimal toppings. Good, not great.

We had lunch at Via Napoli. Was a little worried as reviews have been scattered on the boards, but no worry – this was awesome. Had a cute and friendly Italian waiter, neat looking restaurant. We got a pitcher of beer and a Quattro Stagioni - eggplant, artichokes, parma cotto ham, mushrooms, and mozzarella. Kind of weird that the toppings are not all spread out, but I just moved them around the pizza and we all enjoyed. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Quattro Stagioni means "Four Seasons" in Italian and as applied to pizza is traditionally (always?) served as four separate quadrants. Just as the seasons do not overlap, neither do the quadrants of the pizza. At least, I have never seen it done any other way.

I ate there about 5 weeks ago. I had the Quattro Stagioni and the eggplant appetizer. As far as high-end pizza goes, it was decent but not good enough to become a can't-miss destination. I've had much worse (even at a similarly high price), but it pales in comparison to truly great pizzerias (such as Mario Batali/Nancy Silvertons' Pizzeria Mozza in LA).

Judging by what was being delivered to adjacent tables, it appears that they need to pay better attention to cooking times. Mine was slightly undercooked (but acceptable), my neighbor's was waaaay undercooked, and others appeared to be overcooked. For this style of pizza, I'd rather have some burnt surfaces rather than having raw dough in the center. My other complaint was an incredibly watery cocktail--weak and not enough ice.

My last meal at Tutto Italia was much better than Via Napoli, but I know that TI has some issues with delivering a consistently good meal, too.

very refreshing...like an orange creamsicle.

I though all the food was excellent, even the arancini. The arancini was just not to my taste but it was still very good.
I highly recommend it!
Also, if you try an off time( we went for lunch as soon as they opened) it's not so loud. We went around 11:30ish and there were about 6 tables total.

We were at Via Napoli for a mid-afternoon lunch on Thursday before we left for the airport. We wanted to get a sampling of their offerings so DBF ordered an individual pizza (the one with the Italian sausage on it) and I got a pasta dish that had ricotta cheese and sausage. We also had the family salad which was a nice, fresh starter for the two of us. We enjoyed both of our meals and will be back. The pizza, prices, and quality were similar to Two Amys in DC which we've been to on a couple of occasions .
