Who has their 2017 disney trip planned?

Realize we can not book the whole 2017 year yet. But what are your plans? We are planning/thinking spring break. Using our dvc points at the 7 th window. Less missed school for the kids. Starting with 2 nights universal. And Sister going with us.

It will depend on if my friends and I do D23, assuming it's August 2017. My WDW AP expires in December so in any case will likely do DL next year.

Yep, we have our June 2017 dates planned....and we too need to bank/borrow to make a 15 night trip for ten people a reality We did consider 11 night over Christmas

Yes, we are planning a 9 night split stay BLT/AKV in either early June or mid September 2017. I'm hoping to take that school year off to do more of the room mom thing. I'm a teacher and my kids will be in kinder and first grade that year. If it works out, they get three days off for Rosh Hashanah and then they will miss three more days to make a 9 night trip. If I keep teaching, we will go right after school gets out, last week of May/early June.

We are out of points until September 2017 so we will not be going anytime soon. Of course that is after our two trips this wonter/spring. With the massive cost increases we are looking at resort only trips.

I plan the same way and consider point usage for my current and upcoming use year. In my 2016 use year, for example, I created a list of booking possibilities/combinations for Food & Wine in the fall and Flower & Garden in the spring, all of which sum to my point total. Although not everything has yet to be booked, we have tentative dates and resorts through May 2017. Moreover, I always consider multiple point combinations, just in case dates or resorts are unavailable.

Planning on a week in early Dec '17...dh and his best friend both turn 60 at that time. So, the two couples will spend 5 nights at BWV, then possibly make the looooong drive to Key Largo!!!

I can see that it would be a serious project if you own a lot of small contracts. Or if you were always stretching your points to go as far as possible. I know DH and I often will use a spreadsheet to figure out how many days we could stay at various DVC resorts before we decide which to book.
