DH and I are staying three nights prior to our cruise at the WL. The morning before our cruise, we want to have a nice, leisurely breakfast before driving to the port. We will have a car, so location is not an issue, other than it needs to not be in the parks.

If it helps, we do not care about seeing characters, so that is not a component for deciding who has the best breakfast. We are looking for the best tasting food.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

I'm sure you'll get plenty of differing opinions, but my favorite breakfast is the buffet at Boma at AKL...

Concourse Steakhouse - great Eggs Benedict.

I have 2 favorites.....and I just can't choose between the 2, so give you both of them:

Boma's, at AKL, which really is just awesome, IMHO. The variety of items, the frunch, the coffee......we can't NOT eat at Boma's when we're at WDW. It's also the perfect place for a slow, leisurely breakfast AND you can head out to the pool area afterwards to one of the animal viewing areas and watch the animals eat THIER breakfasts. :)

Kona Cafe, at the Poly, for two very good reasons: Tonga Toast and Kona Pressed Pot Coffee. I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Can't tell you why, maybe it is the peaceful atmoshpere, maybe it is because I like the resort, but Boatwright's at Port Orleans Riverside is a good place to eat breakfast.

I must agree, that Kona's is wonderful too. My dh just loves the press pot coffee. We usually go the for dinner, but have been about 3 times for breakfast.

I really liked Park Faire, but when we were staying at WL, CM's everywhere were suggesting Trail's End. The boat captains said it was the best breakfast on the property.

Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. The Tonga Toast alone is worth the trip, but everything we've had there has been wonderful!

Kona, pressed pot coffee and tonga toast YUMMY!!

Cape May buffet is my absolute fav tho, the fruit they have is amazing and so many different types....very good food

My family and I really enjoyed the Cape May Breakfast. The food was great, the servers were pleasant, and if you like characters they were very attentive.

My favorite was the Yacht Club Galley. We went to Boma's once for breakfast, went near the end of the breakfast time. About 1/2 hour after we began, they started taking down the buffet, a real pet peeve of mine. I felt like they were pushing us out.

Thanks everyone! I think I'm leaning towards Kona. We'll be eating a buffet for lunch on the ship, and for most breakfasts' the rest of the week, so a sit down might be a nice way to start off :thumbsup2

We're looking for the same thing on our last full day. I think we're going to try Trail's End at Fort Wilderness. I've heard good things.

I love the Kona Cafe and their macadamia nut pancakes.

I recommend either the O'hana breakfast at the Polynesian or CM at the Contemporary. Both are delicious, and fun

If you don't mind going off site MIMI CAFE!!!! It has great food you can look them up on the web and see their menu.
