Who has been to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom?

I was thinking of going here since I will be passing by Louisville and I have a Six Flags season pass. However, a friend told me it was the ghetto of Six Flags. He saw a few fights and a bunch of other horrible stuff there. Is it really that bad? All I really want to ride is Twisted Twins and maybe Chang. No T2 for me since Im tired of Vekoma SLC headbangers!

I live 10 minutes from there and I really like it. It is probably smaller than other Six Flags but has some great rides.If you like wooden coasters, Thunder run is pretty good, if I remember correctly it was desiged by he same people the designed King's Island's Beast. And I LOVE T2! All of the coasters are good and mile high falls is a great way to col down if you're there in the summer. Also, Huricane Bay, the water park that is included w/ your pas or any pd. admission is alot of fun. I've never seen any problems there that are out of the ordinary in a park and park staff always responded and handled any problems quickly. You really should check it out. A group of us went about three years ago.We didn't like it at all and will not go back.I thought it was a dirty park and very poorly landscaped.It just looked like it wasn't finished yet. Not many choices of places to eat. Two of the big coasters and another big attraction were down-never did know why. Also there were very few things for older kids to do-the ones too old for kiddie rides but too young for coasters. I'm sure it's improved since then,but I would rather go to King's Island or Cedarpoint. I did think Chang was a fun coaster though.

This has been the WORST theme/amusement park i have ever been too!!!!
The park was dirty, the rides werent staffed properly with unfriendly/slothlike employee's. And then the park has a 100am starting time, but that only means the small front portion opens with few rides and the rest opened at 1100am.
I will say that i loved Thunder Run and really enjoyed Chang/Twisted Sisters and they had a decent water ride(based on Penguin i think) but the rest of the park was substandard and of carny quality, and bad even for a Six Flags park.
Barry if you are in the area and want to increase your coaster count it may be worth it but not for a trip just to go to this park IMHO. They do have a couple of excellant coasters byt most of the park is a downer, and as for atmosphere forget it!!
