Who has been on CLOMID???

I believe mine was about 7 days after my last clomid but it's been almost 6 years since then so I may be foggy. I was on clomid for days 3-7 if that helps any.

I also recommend the Clear Plan digital fertility monitor expensive but sooo worth it. I got mine for free because I applied for a test panel that they were running at that time. Wishing you the best.

I am using the Easy Blue Clear Ovulation testers. LOL I don't remember what they were calleed, they are the same brand, but they are the cheap 7 day pack. Do they work the same? I havne't had an OV to try them on yet, but I have them on standby. lol BellePrincessBelle, can you give any other tips??

Do you reccomend BD every day or every other day?

EOD worked for us. I also used Evening Primrose Oil tablets that cycle 1000mg a day to help with CM(no people it doesn't mean Cast Member ). Have you got a copy of Taking Charge of your fertility? Are you taking your BBT? feel free to PM me. I never got a reading with the regular stciks thats why I decided to use the digital monitor. I sold it on ebay for a good price(but no where near reatil since I got it for free I started bidding at .99) so you may be able to recoup costs if you do buy one.

We used Clomid with much success. I finally concieved on the last round and really could not believe it happened. Be ready for the ups and downs each month and for lovemaking to become not so much fun. The ups and downs about did me in and I really did not know what I would do if I didn't get pregnant within that timeframe. The lovemaking on demand about did my DH in. He said he felt like he was on call. We had fun and all, but it wasn't the same after about the third month. He still says he knows exactly when i concieved. It must have been good for him!!! My dear little one turned seven yesterday.

I got pregnant after one cycle of Clomid of 50mg. I had secondary infertility and the clomid kickstarted my system My daughter Julia is now 18 months old.
I also recommend the Clear Plan digital fertility monitor - it helps!

Thats so Funny Frye7127!! My Dh is starting to feel the same way I believe! lol Funny, b/c before all this, he was Asking me for lovin' every day, now that we have to, he is like ..where's the variety. LOL . Oh..we're going to be doing it with your hips at an angle again. HOW EXCITING! LMAO.

Thanks for the tip on the Clear Blue Monitor BellePrincessBelle, I am going to check out Ebay. What is Evening Primose Oil? How does it work? I am scared to even mix a Tylenol with all these other meds. LOL I have heard of taking a baby asprin with clomid, of taking mucinex with clomid. Any of these actually do anything??

Evening Primrose Oil is a natural supplement found with the vitamins in walmart/target. It's supposed to make better EWCM. I found that to be true in my experience since I had an issue with that. I didn't have any problems but I wasn't on anything other than the clomid either. It's the same reason as taking mucinex but all natural. It makes mucous and LOTS of it.

Today was my first day of CLomid!! I can't believe that AF actually came after the Prometrium!! I am surprised!! Can't belive that its actually doing what its supposed to! We are very excited now, but trying not to get the hopes up too much! =)
?...for those of you that had to do 2 cycles, did your period come again right as it was supposed to or did you have to go on the Prometrium again? I am wondering, if i need to go back to the doctor after this round of clomid, or if i just wait to see if my period comes. ???

The Doctor gave us our clomid perscription today, and I am SO NERVOUS!

We have wanted number 2 for a while now, a long while, but now that it is more OFFICAL, i have a thousand things running through my head.

What are your experiences with CLOMID??
He gave us 100 mg.
Also I am on Progesterone and gave us some sort of cream to use before intercourse i think it is progesterone cream as well. I AM SO NERVOUS. Was anyone else like this??

I've been on Clomid and have the triplets to prove it. Make sure you are monitored. It made me break out horribly. Other than that, I noticed no other changes except for the positive pregnancy test and ultrasound that showed three babies.

I got pregnant in my second cycle and I got AF on my own in between.

I was told by my gyn that the Clear Blue monitor did not work properly with Clomid -- I had bought one and it never showed I ovulated with the clomid. She told me to use the over the counter sticks - which I did (but continued to use CBM also b/c I was curious to see if it would work after I shelled out $$ for it) - the sticks showed I ovulated but the CBM did not. I also sold my CBM on ebay for $99

I did not get my period after my failed Clomid cycles, and had to do the medicine again. I think it varies from person to person, though, and depends on whether you actually ovulate. Are they doing ultrasound monitoring?

No monitoring..i think thats the down fall using an ob instead of an RE. But I will take what I can get right now. we are HOPING this works the first time, seems to be that I just have some hormones out of wack. and btwn the metformin, prometrium and clomid. I am hoping it does the trick! Wish us luck!!

I didn't do ultrasound monitoring with my OB, but I did have to go back at day 25 (before a pg test would come back positive) to have an internal exam looking for cysts (?, it's been a while)

WOW! Triplets!!! Congrats!! How was your pregnancy?
We were told that with any fertility drug we should count on twins and be happy with single. That way we aren't SHOCKED! But i don't know how people do it two at a time. Let alone 3 at a time. What dosage were you on ? (Clomid)

We were absolutely shocked when we found out about the triplets. I was told there was a 10% chance greater than a person who is not on fertility meds to get pregnant with twins. My perinatologist told me that higher order multiple births were much more common for women on Clomid than those going through IVF.

I was fortunate to have a rather uneventful pregnancy for someone carrying triplets. Unfortunately, I didn't know that would be the case during my pregnancy and I spent a good part of my pregnancy a nervous wreck that something bad would happen. My children were born through a planned c-section at 34 weeks and have no residual health issues or developmental delays (now that they are two - they were, of course, rolled back in age to fit with gestational age up until that point). No one came home on apnea monitors. I was in the hospital with premature labor twice - let's just say magnesium is not my friend, ick. I was on partial bed rest (4-5 hours a day) - gradually building up to only bathroom and one-time-a-day shower privileges starting around 28/29 weeks until my delivery. I got the nasty red bumps that itch (can't remember the name of that condition) and had the normal heartburn, etc that a 9 month pregnant woman would have - I just got it sooner. I am thankful to have had one of the best specialists in our state as my doctor and to God for giving me a 5 foot 3 body that held out until my babies were developed enough to be born in good health. I had been to a different group of doctors who tried to convince me to reduce my pregnancy b/c I was too short. I was in my last year of law school at that time and went to my graduation a week after my kids were born. Busy year.

I was on 100 MG and then my second month my gyn upped me but I can't remember whether it was to 125 or 150.

I just found this thread and wanted to wish you well. We had secondary infertility, tried one round of 50mg clomid and were blessed with twins. I thank God everyday.

I have read that after you take your last clomid pill you should bd every other day until your temps peak and then ovulation is over?? Am i reading correctly? Some things say that the sperm lasts for up to 5 days and other sights say that it only lasts 24 hours or so. I have not invested in the expensive Fertility Monitor, but did invest in the Clearblue one with the smiley faces. I was thinking we will use that.
Every day is probobly too much right?
I keep getting conflicting research on this one, so any further advice on how often to baby dance would be great. =)
also, does the angling your hips up really work or aid in conception?
I am so EXCITED for this to work!! I really hope we only have to do this once.
