Who has an IPad and which version?

We have the IPAD 2 (with data plan) and IPAD 3 (wifi only). I do not think the 3 is worth $100 more than the 2. We rarely use the camera and only use Siri on our phones.

Having one with data plan and one without works great - we bring the one with the data plan on long car rides, I use it when I take the bus into the city, when we go to my mom's house (no wifi).

We were just saying yesterday how at first we were skeptical but now we can't imagine our lives without them!

I got the iPad1 back in May 2010 when they first came out.

Fell.In.Love.

Just replaced that one with iPad 4 (but they are calling it 4th generation). OK, I love this one MORE!

Get one. You will love it. :wave2:

I have the iPad Mini and love its smaller size; I like being able to hold it in one hand.

I'm an Apple person through and through but got the Kindle Fire when it first came out because of its price. Well, you get what you pay for -- a year later, I was begging for the iPad. For me, there's just no comparison.

We have the IPad 4th generation with wifi (no cellular).
We got the 16GB but I'm regretting that we didn't go with at least the 32GB now. I will put a few movies on it for the kids and along with a few apps and some photos, etc, it fills up pretty fast. (large movie files)

Ipad 3 owner here. Totally, totally regret not getting 3G and 32 GB (I did 16 GB, wifi only)

For WORK - I just use it for checking email from home or occasionally taking notes at a meeting - or to check my schedule from home.

But - for home stuff - movies, apps, personal email, book reading, etc - I use it much, much more than my laptop.

We are an apple family:cool1:. Both of my boys have the iPad 2, and use it constantly (games/apps, movies, youtube, pictures). I splurged and got the mini at Christmas, and I absolutely LOVE it! I love the small size so I can tote it in my purse. I got the 3G. We do a lot of car traveling. I know I can use the hotspot on my phone (so the kids can access wifi), but it drains the battery fast. The battery on the mini lasts much, much longer, so I prefer using that as my hotspot.

We have a 1st gen that still works great. Had it about 2.5 years now without any issues and it gets used daily. DD6 is the main user. It's so handy to have to jump online quick to look up something instead of having to sit down at the computer. It's also great for traveling and not having to bring along a laptop. DD19 has the Ipad3 with Retina 64G wifi only and uses it tons for college. She is in elementary ed program and some of her classes require the use of an ipad. (and her school even has an ipad lab) DH just got the ipad mini because DD has taken over the 1st gen. He loves it. Loves the size and everything about it. (we are also a family of iphones, everyone but DD6 has one LOL)

iPad Mini here. Love it! I'm a nursing student and i have an app where I can record lectures and type notes at the same time. Awesome! I love the smaller size.

I have the Ipad 4 with the retina display with 64gb, But when I got it it only had 57gb free to use [all the programs and stuff they put in it took 7gb] i'm still getting the hang of using it and ALL those different aps you can get for it. my biggest use for it will be when I go to Disney, i'll be watching movies on the plane.
