Missing all my Dis friends!

I am doing well. Not doing much, except some writing for Millivers, and my class.

Who is gearing up for Thanksgiving?....
I am just making a few things. It will be at my Sons house this year, and its a good thing as I will be heading for KC Mo. on the 29th and be there til the 10th of Dec.
Mike has to go for work, and I thought I might as well enjoy the free room and do some Christmas shopping. I have found some interesting shows, and museums to check out too. It should be fun. Mike wont be available til 6sh in the evenings, but they have a cool 14 block section that they light all the buildings up for Christmas, and have horse-drawn carriages to take you all around to see it!...Lots of Christmas choirs to hear too!

I am sooooo ready for next Aug. to get here. I would be very happy to skip winter all together.

Well I hope this will entice someone to post here, and breath some life back into this thread... We seem to be suffering a slow death....

I've been busy in KC. Its been fun. Went to the war museum yesterday. It was very interesting in a depressing sort of way. I can see why they say "war is hell"

We are going to an art museum today. Should be fun. Its raining here today so it will be a good place to visit.

Missing my lil guy, but Id be missing Mike more so I'm glad I'm here.

I keep trying and trying to get on here but I get so frustrated that I just quit trying.

I am at Liz's right now and it seems to work better here.

Hope the weather is okay, kinda snowy and yucky here last night when I drove home from dance but this morning the snow was all gone

We leave for Cape Canaveral today! We'll see The Dream tomorrow. We're all excited.

First cruise ever...

I've been looking at the weather and it seems pretty rainy everywhere but once we hit WDW it should clear up. Doesn't matter to me tho, rain or shine I'm still looking forward to this.

Let you all know how are first cruise goes when we get back.

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd make a quick post. We're sitting in Scat Cats Lounge @ PORFQ having margaritas about to watch football.

We spent the day at DTD and Raj's sister drove up from Ft. Lauderdale and had lunch with us at T-Rex. It was fun.

The cruise was amazing even tho I got sick. I missed dinner the first night at Royal Palace But the rest of the days weren't too bad. I felt bad the first day off the ship also. I still felt like I was rocking.

The ship was fun tho. The kids LOVED it and the clubs. The shows and all the activities they offered was great. The best part.... all the adult time we had! I love love love the adult only areas. . Not sure if I can handle another cruise tho I'm so afraid to get that sick feeling. It was the worst.


The biggest news I have tho and the best part of the cruise is.........





WE ARE NOW DVC Members!!!!!! We got such a great deal with incentives signing up while on the ship we could not resist!

We bought at AKL so as soon as we get home I'm planning our next trip.

Tomorrow we are going back to MK. Hope it's not freezing like it was today!

Happy to hear that you had a great cruise. You will find that the sick feeling will happen less often the more you cruise. So just keep cruising

Your sister in law is from Fort Lauderdale? We are cruising out of Fort Lauderdale in February. Could you maybe ask her a question for me?

We need to find a place to stay the night before the cruise. We want something fairly close to the airport/cruise terminal but we don't want to spend a fortune on it, since we are really only there to sleep.

We need somewhere clean, safe and relatively inexpensive.

Does she have any suggestions for us of where to try?

I am still having so much trouble getting on and posting on the DISboards. It frustrates me greatly Every now and again I can get through. So I just want you all to know that I am thinking about you and trying to post but the forces are against me

Glad you had a good time in spite of the seasickness. Maybe you can book the Dream when we are going ...We'd love to have you join us!... Keep Aug 15th in mind! We will also be in the parks from the 10th til the 15th. Not sure where we will be staying it depends on whats a good deal then. I would love to get into DVC, but Mike is not a fan of it. We do however get the AP and that saves us big time on the second trip of the year.

YEA!!! Robin is on a two day streak! Nice to see you here.

I am going like craaaaazzzzzzy now, I am so busy. Sunday we had Kateris, and Emily's birthday celebrations, and Caroling at Mike and Lori's

I spent yesterday in stores with my girlfriend, buying for the big day....We had dinner out with my inlaws last night til 8ish, then went to get a few more presents. Came home around 10ish and cut up fruit for a salad Mike brought to work for a Christmas party this afternoon.

Today I am taking Brit shopping. Her car is not working, and I have to bake cookies sometime today too.

Tomorrow is a grooming apt. for Albert, and I have MORE shopping for presents, and I have to finish figuring out my Christmas dinner menu.. Sooooo not sure what to make???? to go with a ham, and a lamb, and it has to be vegetarian.???

I still have to go food shopping for Christmas morning brunch, and dinner.
We started out having Christmas dinner for 5. Us, with my Sister, Bro in law, and Daughter Jenn.
It has blown into my sister adding her step daughter, and my brother with his wife. So now we have eight for dinner..... Oh well the more the merrier I always say... Now why do I always say that........

On a high note the weather has been wonderful ...mostly in the 40s during the days and to cold at night for snow... I have heard that that may change on sat. tho...

I hope you all are having productive days... and you are enjoying the season.
