We had crazy flooding here too, Robin. My guess is that, like here, the people in Betsy's area had no idea just how bad this was going to be. I've lived in my area my entire life (I'll be 50 in January) and I have never seen anything so bad as what we are experiencing in my region right now. 2006 was bad here as well, but nothing like the past couple of weeks.

I am here trying to get my writing done, My writing class work done, and waiting to welcome my new grandson into this world.
Unfortunately My grand son does not want to meet any of us quite yet. Lori was due Sunday. They went in for her to get induced yesterday. Even with all the drugs to induce her He did not want to come, so they sent her home. It is now a waiting game... stubborn lil guy! LOL
I hope all is well with you Robin. Also all you lurkers, (If there are any
)
Cant wait until its time to start planning the cruise trip.
What has been happening with everyone else????

I'm doing good. Just booked the moving van. Official moving day is October 4th. I'm excited and not excited..... you know how it is

I have a cruise to go on in October. Let's not rush us up to December yet.

We got our passports today but my youngest son's passport didn't come even though we applied at the same time.

We are going on the Norwegian Pearl, Oct 23 - 30th out of Miami.
It goes to Norwegian's "private island", Cayman Island, Jamaica, Cozumel and a couple of sea days.
Plenty of space still available on the ship Wanna come
I'm sure that his passport will show up soon. Once all 4 of us applied at the exact same time and my passport was dated a couple of days later than the other three

Marcelino, or Marc. He was born on the 28th, and weighed 9lbs, 4ozs.

No, no problem really Betsy.
Just was about to embark on my last sleep in my home of almost 25 years.
Tonight I will stay at the new house and tomorrow the moving truck comes to pick up all our furniture and whatever I have boxed up in time.
We officially are moving in tomorrow.
I was/am also a bit sad for my kitties. They don't know that they are about to lose their home and their outside privileges.
I will be keeping them indoors for several weeks before I let them venture outside and maybe keeping them inside at night forever if I can manage it. They like to be outside at night and to terrorize the little creatures.
But I'm afraid that if they are out at the new place, THEY might be the ones who get terrorized. I have heard there are coyotes around out there but so far have not seen any evidence of them. I have seen other cats out and about but still makes me nervous.
So......... busy days ahead for me. At least I have a cruise coming up in a few short days to look forward to
