I hope you're able to join us for the cruise - we're going to have an amazing time!

I'm with you, buddy - I dislike snow intensely.... A lot of people love it and it's beautiful for a few hours, but it's cold, wet, slushy and gets dirty outside and brings dirt inside! OIY!

I'm off to the movies today. I'm going to see "The Kings Speech". I've wanted to see it for about 3 weeks now, but this is my first opportunity.

I'm also going to visit my mothers grave today. Today is 30 years since she passed....where did the time go? It's hard to believe it's been so long....I was a whopping 16 years old at the time. I'm getting old!

Snow can be extremely beautiful and if you go out at night it just seems so still and quiet when the ground is covered with snow and the air is crispy cold.

BUT I can only appreciate that for so long. Unfortunately I have to live here, so I look forward to my little escapes to the south periodically.

Ann, 30 years is a long time to have been missing your mother. I am fortunate to still have mine and hope she will be around for many more years to come. It is great that you have Dean though to help fill the gap just a teeny tiny bit. Not as good as having your own mother but still nice.

I agree that she certainly did seem like a treasure when I met her. So sweet and kind. Now she may not always be that way but that was the impression that I came away with

Yup! She's pretty much that way all the time! The only way to get on her bad side is to hurt my dads feelings.....I consider that a plus!

Well Mike is catching a plane to Kansas City, Mo. tomorrow morning...Right into a winter storm...Hopefully he will beat it and get there before it starts..but he will be there til Friday, and its suppose to get bad here towards the end of the week

Hello everyone, having a good day?

My credit card has had a very exciting past few days

I have booked us a return flight from Florida for March. We are driving down, renting a house for a week, heading to Orlando for 2 nights and then flying down. Friends are flying down and doing the driving back This is mainly a trip for the guys to fly their airplanes and the ladies to enjoy the warmth.

I booked us a place to stay while in Orlando.

Then I booked our flights for Alex's wedding in May

I still have to call Disney and reserve our room. Alex has reserved a block of rooms at the POP Century for the wedding group.

Rick brought up the possibility of a cruise on the Dream this fall Heck, if he is willing I sure won't be the one to turn it down

We are expecting snow here starting tomorrow and going on towards the end of the week. We are planning on heading to Alex's on Friday and hopefully the snow is all cleared away by then, which it should be.

Sounds nice! (Except for the snow ) Never turn down a Disney cruise! I've never been but my best friend always talks about the midnight dessert buffet

The snow just started here. They said it was supposed to start around 4pm so a bit late.

I was just outside and it wasn't snowing, I was in the house less than 5 minutes looked outside and it was snowing

I was hoping it was going to miss us, but maybe not afterall.

I made spaghetti & meatballs today - it's a favorite! Yesterday, I made a roasted vegetable soup. It was really amazing! Tom said it's his new favorite soup!

Other than that, my life has been lovely, but low-key lately! I hope ya'll are well!
