We head out tomorrow morning for Miami to get on our Norwegian ship.

We will be back home on the 7th of February (flying Miami to Detroit by way of Chicago )

I am so wth you on the star wars weekend Kim. We wandered unknowingly into that situation several years back...never again!

I didn;t know about the Tusker House/Nemo thing! We'll have to try that next time. We still ahve not seen Nemo, we always just miss it!

In '06 we actually WANTED to be there for SW weekend, but NOT after we were there! With Tusker House, you have to get a 1-1:40 lunch ressie ONLY to get the Nemo voucher for seating at 3:15. Very restricted on that.

Good Morning from the frigid Northeast! Man it's cold! Good news is my DD(16) got her learnier's permit a month ago so she still thinks it's cool to start up the car for me, so I send her out into the cold to start the car ever morning. Last night NSalz and I went to our other sister's house for dinner. It was below zero when we were ready to leave, so we sent our teenagers out to start our cars for us! They thought they were so cool!

Hello Threadkillers!

Sorry I've not posted since we returned from the cruise. Robin, Rick, Tom & I had an AWESOME time! I spent most of the cruise eating (the food there is so darn good!) and was going through a spinach phase...if it had spinach - I ordered it!

After the cruise, Rick & Robin spent several days with us before they headed out for another cruise (non-Disney) for a week. The day the left, I woke up feeling yucky and it only got worse from there. This is (literally) my first time out of bed since Sunday. I'm starting to feel better, but this is the pits!

Kim - congrats on your new ticker! You're gonna have so much fun!
PD - Yeah to your DD for her drivers license - any time you need milk, they are always happy to go to the store for you!
DU - I haven't seen avatar - not in a big hurry, but I've heard it was good.
DP - I might have missed it, but what movie did you see? Robin & I saw "Blind Side". We were going to spend the day in St. Augustine, but it was raining.
TW - you sound busy. Is it my imagination or are you & Betsy going on the same cruise? What day is it?

Well, I have to get better because I'm headed to Savannah on the 10th to spend some time with the sisters. When I get another chance, I'll post some pics....I didn't take many, but we had an awesome time! Parasailing was cancelled (again), so we didn't get to do that. Tom & I took a tour of the Atlantis and had a great time with that.

My laptop power cord thing stopped working' so I'm posting with my Wii.

It was my day off today. Mike and I spent the afternoon in town shopping.
Ann,
Colleen and I are going on the same ship (Disney Dream),but different sailing dates. I'm not sure when hers is, but our sailing is May, 29 2011. Its a 5 day, double-dip cruise. I would be very excited to have as many of you all join as possible! May should be a nice time to go I'm thinking!

Well I am happy to report .... I have lost 5.25 lbs!!! I have to admit I am dying for a giant sundae though .... LOL.

got to go make dinner (shrimp fried rice).

Hey Kim. I was in Chicago today between 2:30 and 3:30, yes at O'Hare.

Too bad there wasn't enough time to get together.

We were actually supposed to be there for 2 hours but our flight out of Miami was delayed for an hour, waiting for the flight attendants to arrive on another flight.

Ann, so sorry to hear that you were/are not feeling well again. Is it the same sickness that you had before our cruise?

Robin - I hope you had a great time on the cruise. Can't wait to see your pics!

Just a quick update. I was unlucky enough to get a cold, a virus AND the FLU! Then to add insult to injury, I got an eye infection! I am - single handedly - keeping my doctor and pharmacy in business! I have a cough that is driving me crazy and can't get more than about 2 hours sleep in a stretch. However, the doc gave me a medicine that he promised would knock me out and slow the cough down (no luck so far, but I'm hopeful). I also have NO voice!

Tom now has the flu as well. We both went to the doctor today and were placed on a week's strict bed rest. No goofing around, no driving, no going anywhere....he was very adamant!

Fortunately, my folks are close by and have dropped off popsicles for us (about all we can eat right now). They do a "ring and run" because they are elderly and susceptible to infections. Robin, believe it or not, I've lost 11 lbs due to this flu/yuckiness! Even after the cruise and eating all the delicious food!

Unfortunately, I had to cancel the Savannah trip with the sisters. I was SO bummed about that. Hopefully we can reschedule one for the spring.

This is the first time I've been on-line, but I wanted to catch up with my threadkiller friends! So....if you don't hear from me - no worries!
