Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I got the costume already for one of my tap numbers for this year's recital.

Now if this isn't incentive to lose 10 pounds I sure don't know what else is

I like sweet potatos too. I like the ones that they have at the Outback

Yes, I do tap dance. I've been doing it about 5 years now ( or is it 6, I don't remember).

It is really great exercise and a lot of fun.

I also do hip hop dance and line dancing.

Guess you could say that I'm a dancing fool

Robin - what does your costume look like? When is your recital? Sweet Potato Casserole (at least mine) is mashed sweet potatoes with some butter, sugar, milk & egg baked with a crunchy sweet sugary pecan topping. It's one of our favorite side dishes. I made another one for tomorrow's party. I just have to put the topping on and bake a 2nd time!

Today I'm meeting Mary & her family and my parents at Wendy's (something for everyone - no McDonalds *boohoo*) and we're going to have lunch and exchange Christmas gifts.

Tomorrow we have a Christmas Party, Sunday I have a cookie exchange and then we have a dinner to go with a bunch of friends - about a dozen of us. Then I have to get ready to head out for Christmas!

Yesterday I did a TON of laundry, change the beds & towels and worked on my coupons & met a friend for breakfast.

Good morning Ann.

What does my costume look like, hmmm.

It is all one piece, black body suit with short legs (quite short, we have decided we will probably wear black tights with it). The top goes straight across over the bust. Over top of it is sewn a glittery dark blue piece that covers the waist area with rouching (how do you spell that? ) and then the top looks like a bra covering the black straight across piece. Hard to describe maybe I can take a picture of it and post it.

Have fun with all of your plans for the coming weekend and week.

Today I get to go to the hospital for a scope. Woohoo, fun.......... NOT. It is the one where they look down your throat into your stomach. I have to be there at 9:45 for the scope at 11:15. I'm not really looking forward to that.

This afternoon is Christmas at my mother's house and tomorrow we have Christmas here at home.

Alex, Steph and Liz are all here at the moment and since Alex has to work Christmas we are doing it early here. So Christmas will be done for us by tomorrow evening.

That's about all the excitement around here at the moment.

fyi, blamemysister's grandpa-in-law passed away earlier tonight. Sad, but a long 93 year life. Nice man. Just harder this particular time of year. And, 2 grandparents since Sept. {{HUGS}} for my DSIL, Amy and her family!

I know - sounds weird but the tradition is McDonalds and all the kids enjoy the junk food and no one has to dress up! We just find a fast-food place and meet in the middle. We used to do Christmas Eve Dinner at my house and exchange gifts....but Tom and I started traveling during the holidays.

Susan texted me. She got 14" of snow and her son couldn't make it in last night. He bought chains this morning and is gonna try to make the last 50 miles.

Well, today I have to finish that second Sweet Potato Casserole. We're attending a Christmas party tonight. I also have a cookie exchange tomorrow at 1, so I have to get the cookie dough out of the freezer and bake it!

Our Christmas is now all done. We had it at my mom's last night and here today.

I ended up with a Band Hero game and a Toy Story Mania game for my Wii

The scope, well, I'm not too sure how that is going to turn out. My stomach looks good (the doctor showed me pictures afterwards. Have you ever seen the inside of your own stomach

But there is a definite lump there. It is outside of the stomach and pushing into it. The doctor took some biopsies of the area and I guess it will be a wait and see what happens next type of thing.

Colleen - fabulous pics! I (once again) didn't bring my camera when I went to Disney. When Tom and I travel, we plan on taking the camera for at least a few pics so we can put them in a Christmas letter next year!

It's a 'sorta' Hidden Mickey - in the red ornaments, kinda detached, but when I saw HOW CLOSE it WAS to a hidden Mickey, I chose that background!

Yes it looks like a very skimpy costume but it looks great on and is very sparkly. Now I just have to make sure that I can dance the dance good enough to justify wearing the costume
