Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

You could never 'trash' an area like I have! :scared1:

All I can say to that Kim, is that you've obviously never been in my house;)

Liz did about half of our gift wrapping while she was home this past weekend. She's not home again until right before we have our Christmas (Dec 19). So I am have to do it myself before then.

We are having Christmas at my mom's on the 18th and then here on the 19th. That is the only weekend Alex has available to come home, so we will work with what we can.

Oh yes, exciting news, Alex and Steph got themselves a house :woohoo:

They still need to have it inspected before the deal is final but they have found something they like. It is in the country and has a lot of land around it. Alex has never been a country boy, so we will see how they like it.

I will try to post a link here so you all can see it.

Wow Robin nice house!!! I love the size of the yard!

I haven't actually seen it in person, only in pictures but it does look nice.

Kids these days :confused3 They sure don't seem to start out where I started out when I was that age. We lived in a little tiny house when we were first married but it served it's purpose just fine and we liked it.

The yard is huge and neither one likes to do yardwork, so I'm not sure what they are thinking :rotfl2:

They did write the lawn tractor into the offer though. :rotfl2: It's a lot easier to mow a lawn when all you have to do is sit on the tractor and take a drive. ;)

Very Nice house Robin! I'm sure they'll love it there. I agree the yard is beautiful, but it's a TON of mowing!

I've been doing house stuff today - not a lot...bargain shopping (food) and getting the checkbook straightened out.

I made some really great homemade chicken soup the other night and we are going to re-heat it, but all of a sudden, I have a craving for popeyes chicken....hmmmmmm. Can I talk hubby into going outside? It's cold!

Hiya my Threadkillers!

Got internet, really bad connection tho :(

Robin, I met the artist of your beach picture at DTD the other night! Great stuff!

Miss you all, yes, of course we are having fun~

Lots of pictures to share when we get home on Saturday...TTFN

I finally took a few pictures of my bedrooms that I painted a couple months ago.

The first set is Alex's old room. The colour of this room is very strange. It seems to change from a dark terracotta colour to a fairly bright pink colour depending on the light:confused3 I'm not sure that I'm in love with it but it is what it is and I'm not about to paint it again.

The picture is one that I've admired at Disney the past few years. I finally bought it when I was there in October.:thumbsup2 It has a sand pail for each of the parks and also DCL:love:

This room still needs some suitable bedside tables but I haven't found anything I like yet.

I love the bed and it is so very comfortable. It's great. It is a queen size though and the room is tiny, so it tends to dominate the room but that's okay with me.

Big  's to you DU.

It must be very difficult for you:guilty:

Morning PD.

DU - I'm sorry you're having a difficult time this Christmas. Like Colleen said - the first year is always the hardest. You're in my prayers.

TW - I'm glad you're having a good time. Disney is really lovely this time of year.

Robin - I'm with DU! Guest rooms! WooHoo!

PD - always great to see you!

Hi to everyone! I'm thinking of you.....I hope ya'll are having a good day today. I had my teeth cleaned this morning and I'm off to have lunch with my friend (our annual Christmas lunch). Had a nice dinner with friends out last night and I'm going to an open house tomorrow.

Ya'll take care!

Thanks Colleen:thumbsup2

Hi Ann, busy as usual I see.

Thanks Betsy for the card:goodvibes

I am going to see Liz tonight.

We are going out to dinner at a chinese Buffet place. It is a very large place with lots of choices. I'm not real fond of Chinese food but I can eat at this place okay.

Then we are going to see the stage tour show of So You Think You Can Dance, Canada.

Seems like a long time ago that I bought those tickets.

The weather is not supposed to be the greatest here for the next day or so. Right now it is doing nothing but it snowed last night and then washed it away with rain. Expecting more snow and more rain today. Yuck.

Robin - how cool that you're going to see a show! I LOVE that sort of thing (Tom isn't a huge fan, tho he has a good time when he does go). Looks like you're busy, too! Have a great time!

Really heading out this time....

 The show was fantastic but the weather is atrocious.

It is so very windy outside right now.

Now, you all know that I'm no little person but the wind was almost knocking me right off my feet when we were walking to the theater:scared1:

Nasty weather.

Is it summer yet:confused3

So I saw on the weather channel this morning that my daughter's college town is in the 4th snowiest city in the US! They are supposed to get several feet of snow between today and tomorrow. Al Roker is an alumnus so he gives a report on Oswego about once a week.:santa:

Several FEET of snow in the next few days:scared1:

We don't often have several feet of snow for the whole winter.

And that's the way I like it.

The less snow the better.

Lots of winters we barely have any snow at all.

Cheesy Mak & Santa!

At 3, She knew how yo play Santa.
