I played cards last night (Tom didn't - wasn't feeling well) and went to McDonalds this morning. I'm about to wash the dog and then I've got a yen to re-organize my pantry....we'll see how long that lasts. If it's still there after I wash the dog - great....but I doubt it!

That is absolutely adorable! What room do you have it in? Nicely done!

I'm baking some Christmas cookies (freezing some dough). Tom wants some and I am attending a Christmas cookie exchange on Sunday (hence the frozen dough). I'm also making Hoppin'John - a yummy southern dish. I've not made it in years, but that's what I was in the mood for!

Hi everyone!

Robin - hoppin'John is a very Southern Dish - usually associated with the Carolinas and served at New Years. For most, it's black eyed peas, veggies & a ham bone. For me (I'm a mutt southerner) it's a sausage & lentil dish served over rice. The one thing that ties it together is a vinaigrette with onions spooned on top....it makes the dish. Tom and I really like it. I bet I haven't made it in 7 years....

I'm waiting for the Pest Control guy to come in and do the yearly inspection then I have my final check up for my contacts & I'll order them.

Wednesday, I have a Bunco party to attend - so I have to make my side dish on Tuesday. Not much else going on....I hope everyone is having a great day!

Rick is not much of a fan of sausage though so that is something we don't often have in this house, unless there is an alternative made available for him.

I'm not sure what I'm doing today besides dance classes tonight.

I do need to go to the grocery store but I'm not sure I feel like doing that today.

Hello everyone...
Just popping in to say hey..before I go to work...
Two Birthdays this week, Kateri's(5), and then Emily's(2)...

We have been busy, BUSY, with wrapping presents marathons, and having people over for dinner. Mike's DB, and DSIL last Monday night, and this Friday, we have some friends coming to spend the evening, playing Wii.

Then we are going to my DS, and DDIL's this Sunday again to sing carols.

Happy ones day to both Robin and Ann
