Hey Tkers. I've been been busier than anyone should ever be with work so haven;t had time to really catch up with all of you since we got back fromWDW and yes I know it was over a month ago!
Robin~ the new car looks great. Very nice. I have leather seats in my car and they don't bother me. I really like them, but my kids don't like them at all.
Cally any news yet?
So my first night at WDW I got to meet Du and James at the pool at POR. DU, we aren't really zombies...just had no sleep the night before, and had DDs grad party the day before so we were really tired and dragging! DU and James kept us all very entertained with stories of their vacation. YOu 2 sure do fit alot into your days! DU gave me a cute stuffed Mickey and rings for all my girls!

Thank you! We love them.
We had a great trip. A couple of days after we got there we were joined by 2 sisters and 1 brother along with their families. Our rooms were right by a quiet pool so my girls and nieces and nephews had swim parites every night at midnight after everyone was back from the parks. The adults swam a boit, but mostly sat by the pool sipping wine.
We tried some new restaurants this trip and have a few new favorites. This was our first trip without any character meals!
Everyone loved Boma. After dinner we took a walk around the resort and went to the viewing area to see the animals. That was cool. They have guides there to answer any questions.
We went to Cape May Cafe also, which ws very relaxing and delicious. We went there on the fourth of July which was pretty cool. I thought it was neat to be at a "clam bake" for the 4th.
Other new restaurant for us was California Grill. Loved going out on the roof before dinner. We took lots of pictures up there. We had to wait a little bit for our table because there were 14 of us and we did not want to be split up. While waiting my BIL ordered a bottle of wine. He just picked something off the winelist that looked good. It was the best bottle of wine ever. When I picked it up to look at the label to see what is was it was Montecillo. Isn;t this the wine that you guys were talking about having on the cruise? I'm pretty sure it was, and thought it was quite a coincidence, but it is my new favorite wine. NSalz's BIL owns a wine store and we are asking him to keep it is stock. I had the pork tenderloin for dinner at DU's suggestion. Great pick DU, you were right best pork tenderloin ever, and the risotto that came with it was wonderful. After dinner was done, they suggested we order our coffee and desserts and go outside to watch the fireworks and then they would bring us our desserts and coffee after the fireworks. We did that. The fireworks from the roof were great. When we got back to our table the waiter was just bringing out our dessert. I shared this : Valrhona Chocolate Cake and Cherries - Warm chocolate cake with molten center, housemade cherry swirl ice cream and balsamic macerated bing cherries - with my neice....absolutely incredible!
The restaurant is expensive but worth every penny. We'll definitely go back there.
