Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

:sad1: I am bringing my dog to the vet tomorrow to have him put to sleep. He was diagnosed with cancer about 2 months ago and it was untreatable. He is only 8 1/2. I am sooo sad. I simply love and adore my dog!

awwww, not another one :guilty:

I am so sorry PD to hear this about your baby.

I've been there before and it is not an easy thing to do :sad1:

I'm sure that you are giving him all the love and attention that you possibly can today.

What kind of dog is he? Can you post us a picture of him?

Oh, PD....I am SO sorry! I will be thinking of you tomorrow and I'd like to think that Holly has someone to play with at the Rainbow Bridge. You are in my heart and we're here for you anytime....

Thanks guys! Sure am spending alot of time crying. I know that I am doing the right thing, but boy am I going to miss him. His name is Buddy (original, eh?) but I often call him Mr. waggy tail, because he is always so happy...just not so much tail wagging going on anymore. Here's a picture from a few months ago.

He's a mutt. The vet thinks he is part Rhodesian Ridgeback, but is unsure of what else.

I sure hope he and Holly meet up!

PD, he is a handsome fellow. His pedigree really doesn't make much difference, does it.

I know what you mean about the crying thing. When I had to take Subway (cat) in a few year back I cried for weeks, off and on. :sad1: I can still cry when I think of him.

I think Buddy is a great name. I call most male dogs Buddy ;) Just seems to fit them. :confused3

Yes you are doing the right thing, but I know it sure doesn't feel like it right now, does it.

We will be thinking of you and your Buddy tomorrow :grouphug:

Oh PD,
Im so sorry:hug: I know you will miss him. Sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest.

Ann,
It sounds like an awesome trip, so far!
I'm off to facebook to check out your pictures.

:sad1: Buddy has way too many TKer furbabies to play with now...

BUT...they will all keep him happy and busy til we meet up with them again...

They really do attach to our hearts :dog: :cat:

Aww thanks! She is the friendliest kitty i've ever met. She always has to be near me or sleeping on me :rotfl: Even now she's curled up next to me on my Cars bedsheets

Hi Everyone! In Wyoming tonight and headed to Mt. Rushmore and the rest of South Dakota tomorrow for several days! Just wanted to pop in (first time on the computer in several days). I posted pics on facebook if you're interested.....thinking of you!

Nice hearing from you Ann. I enjoyed your pictures.

Where did you stay in Vegas?

Looks like you've seen some awesome stuff on your travels already.

 Hi threadkillers and lurkers alike.

I've been busy enjoying the lovely hot summer weather we have been having.

What's everyone else doing?

Hiya threadkillers!

PD - I bet you're having a marvelous time! I loved the pics you posted here and on facebook. Anything exciting planned?

Robin - how are you feeling? How's your mom?

Tom and I are in Pennsylvania. We're going to visit a friend of ours for a few days and then head to Pittsburgh. After that, we're staying the night in Leesburg, VA. They are rumored to have the "South's Best Pie" according to Southern Living Magazine, so we felt it was worth a stop. It was also voted one of the most picturesque town in the US....I'll let you know how the pie is. After that, it's on to Tennessee to spend a week or so with my sister!

I hope you are well, and I think of you often! Take care my threadkiller friends!
