Unfortuantely it is POURING here. We are suppose to have our Annual Block party tommorrow! Doubt it!

Had the new LR rug laid today, pulled a muscle in my shoulder moving furniture. Rug looks great, Shoulder is a mess. But everything is back in place...and CLEAN!

Just chillin tonight. James is here watching The Mummy 3 in HD...Great special effects but I aint followin it so good.

We got our DME tags today!!!

Only trouble was, I was sooo excited, I whipped them out to show Kelly and, our resort was printed on the tags! I forgot about that!! CBR was supposed to be a SURPRISE. Not anymore! It's the 1st thing she noticed! I guess I've trained her too well!

BTW....I 'think" I told you about Makies Facsination with Harry Potter movies...If not...She is FASCINATED with Harry Potter. She quotes them and everything (too smart for her age).

2006, with my whole family, brothers, parents, kids, etc. Even some cousins! Family affair! 11 of us, 16 with cousins. Before that, 2001, Kelly's 1st trip. So, this will be Kelly & Matt's 3rd trip together. Matt went 3 times (?) before Kelly arrived, too.

Well, after 10 days of being sick, I went to my Dr. today. I sounded like I had laryngytis the past 3-4 days, from coughing. She says I have bronchitis, again and, sent me for a chest x-ray also. She prescribed an antibiotic, an inhaler and, cough syrup with codeine, so I can sleep. If possible, I actually feel worse after starting the meds. She said it'll take a while tho. I'm not fond of those inhalers either and I have to take it until it's gone - 4 Months! I blame the crazy weather we've ALL had!

Sure hope Ann's wedding and food and cake and FUN are going along well!!!

Finishing up before we get on the road to NC...John had to work today so we aren't leaving til around 1. Since his work is giving him the whole two weeks off, I am not complaining at all about giving up my morning.

Depending on my wifi access, I will try to pop in while we are away.

Hi Threadkillers!

The wedding was SO much fun! The cake came this close to melting completely! It was 94 degrees and it was an hour to transport. Then when we got there, it was warm inside.

Then....someone fell and they had to be treated and transported (they're okay, they were just old and careful with her) and they kept the doors OPEN the entire time to treat her, so the place got even warmer!

The bride and groom were late so....melting cake! However, it didn't collapse (although I'm came pretty close) and it tasted darn good!

The flowers are large, but my DSis picked them, so without further ado.....

The top layer does look a little bit tippy Ann but other than that it looks lovely.

Hopefully we get to see some more pictures of the wedding.

I've got some exciting news... I've lost 16lbs... I weigh myself tomorrow... hopefully I've lost more.

I need to lose 10 more lbs before Raj gets back and we go to Disney!!

I need to get back into weight loss mode.

I have kept off most of what I lost a few years ago but a few pounds have crept back on and I need to lose another 15 pounds or so.

Hi Robin! Sorry, I worked today, dragged myself there anyway. Kelly had school and I'm her ride so, why not stop at work for 3 hours$?$ LOL

I didn't feel good all day but I came home and napped about 45 mins and I woke up, made dinner and yelled at Marty for something stupid so, I must be getting a little better!

I even called to modify my ADRs from 3 to 4, but that was useless.

Need to check the ADR exchange thread. Someone may want something I'm giving up.

The Canadian Snowbirds just flew over my house.

They are the equivalent to your Blue Angels in the US.

Noisy, noisy things.

I was wondering what in the heck was flying over making so much noise and went out to look and they were gone

But they came back and made a couple more passes over, really low and really close, actually right over my head at one point.

There is a school on the next road over that they have some sort of ties with and they do these flyovers every couple of years.

It's awesome to see.
