Hey and guess what everyone? We extended our vacay... once we check out of the poly on the 18th we're checking into the sheraton vistana for 3 nights... were gonna go to UNIVERSAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!

Military deal on universal as well.. hubby gets a free 2 park 7 day pass and companions get it for $89 each. And then we'll try SeaWorld... free admission

It's gonna be a long 10days!!

Kim, thanks for asking about me.

The CT scan was okay. Before the scan they made me drink this large jug of red stuff.

It neither tasted good nor bad but was mainly tolerable. Found out later it was Kool-Aid mixed with the contrasting agent to show up your internal organs.

They also used an IV to insert some other interesting stuff partway thru the scan.

I survived just fine but for the rest of the day my stomach was gurgling like crazy I'm thinking from the "tainted" KoolAid

Well, today I've got things to do, places to go and people to see.

Hello everyone. I'm back from a nice weekend with my dad. I'm in terrible distress upon learning he's getting a divorce. It's awful to see him in so much pain. Maybe he'll be happier alone. Anyways, it was a weekend of new beginnings. I hope you all are well.

My parents were married for a long time but he hasn't been married too long to his current wife. About four years. It's just such a tough process. I wouldn't wish it on anyone

I need a CM ADR on 10/4 or 10/6 for lunch or dinner earlier than what I have! I try everynight to get something earlier and, I have 3 CM ADRs at 8:10, 8:50 and 7:40! I need earlier! Either day, and I'll give up all 3 for just the one ADR! I tried the trade thread, restaurant board, etc. No one will let their ADR go. I'm thinking this online booking is causing OVERbooking! I know I am guilty of the SAME thing!

I could hardly get anything I wanted before they put the online res in. Then When they started that I got everything I wanted thru the online res.

However ....I had NOOOOOOOO problem walking up to any podium and getting right in at all resturants I tried while I was there. (then again it was only 2 of us)

I haven't checked out the pics. Can I assume that "fuzzy" is a web site and not a characteristic of the pics taken?

Well, I've been busy today.....I just made some REALLY good coleslaw and I currently have some baby back ribs marinating in Coke, garlic, brown sugar, vinegar & jalapeno peppers (since I'm allergic to BBQ sauce, I thought I'd try this). I'm going to cook them low and slow on the grill and baste them in the marinade just before they're done. I'll keep you posted!

While the sisters were here, I managed to make some really amazing French Onion Soup. We also ate a ton of potstickers, 3 lbs of potato salad & homemade guacamole (they're favorite - with the exception of Disney - I have to travel with my molcajete).

I hope ya'll are having a wonderful, relaxing day. My housework is done, so I'm going to read.

Well I made my ADR's this morning. I got everything I wanted. The girl on the phone seemed like she was rushing me and trying to hurry me off the phone.

I have one question for you experts tho'

We're trying to plan the vacay with my SIL and family again.... and I made some ADR's for party of 7 but we will be paying separate. They kept saying party of 6 or more they automatically add gratuity....

Do they add gratuity even if we pay separate?
