Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

I'm just popping in to say hello and to tell everyone that I might not be around for a bit. Dad's just called me and told me he needs my help so it looks like I will be spending the rest of my summer in Washington. I'm very sad to leave my sister and mom but I told him that if he needed me for any reason I would come and help him. I'm going to help him move his wife's thing for him and try to just be there for him emotionally. I also had to give my one weeks notice today. I really did not want to quit because I actually wanted to follow through with a job this time but unfortunately, it's just not in the cards.

Whew, TKers it has been a tough week. One of the toughest of my life. I haven't told my sister yet; I know she'll be upset. I'm just very glad that mom and I are going to Disneyland this weekend. Maybe that will cheer me up a bit. Have a good thursday everyone, it's almost friday!

Dad is having Cataract surgery next Thursday...Geez I got to take him too more places for PreOp stuff....crazy!

I grilled fresh artichoke hearts today - I've never done that before. Not too bad. It was a lot of trouble to clean the artichokes, but I'd do it again!

Sorry I wasn't on today. I had a dental visit and for some reason it wiped me out! My tooth that was bothering me had a small cavity AND a crack in it. So after the dentist, I went back to bed and slept most of the day. So....now I'm up!

Anyway, I hope ya'll had a GREAT day! Kim, I'll try to get that recipe to you tomorrow. I'm making and taking dinner to a friend of ours who is in a rehab/nursing home. He has cancer and suffered a stroke. Anyway, he's tired of hospital food and is clear to eat anything he wants. He wants chicken! MOIST chicken to be exact. So - that's what he'll get!

I am now NOT working at McDs any more...HALLELUJAH!
I am now working at the vets four days a week( Tue, Wed, Thurs, and Sat)......Oh happy day!

the soul saearching is gooing well. I had alot of things in my life that were not working for me. I have gotten rid of somethings and some people in my life. I am coming to terms and moving on from it all.

Is everything okay? Why a CT scan?

Hey Cally. The CT scan was to check on my kidney stones. I have an appointment on Monday morning with the doctor to get the results of my tests that I've had done.

I'm in terrible distress upon learning he's getting a divorce.
