Sorry I have no excuse for not posting here AT ALL. Not like I am busy at work or anything like that. Nothing to say about that other than I sent out 350 resumes and had 2 responses. What a pain in the ______!

Otherwise all is well. The ONLY thing I miss about working is the paycheck. Otherwise I miss nothing. I keep myself pretty busy. WAY TOO BUSY! Cant wait to get back to work to rest some.

Otherwise all is fine here. Pop is driving me crazy. Today I made 3 cheese cakes and while one was on he shut the oven off.....See if you can guess which one he KILLED.

James is doing fine....and Makenzie knows how to push everybodies buttons. She is soooooooooo flippen nutty & funny! She turned 4 in November. Could ya believe it?

This is a recent pic of her...wearing one of her many costumes. She wont go out unless she has some kind of costume on. AND WHATEVER MAKIE WANTS MAKIE GETS....SHE RULES THAT HOUSE.

Christmas eve me & Pop will be going to my friend Debi's house. She lives across the street. She use to live upstairs from me when we were kids in Brooklyn. Then Christmas my niece is doing (FINALLY..... I DO EVERY HOLIDAY HERE) it at her house. Then James will come back for a few days here, then he will go to Brooklyn for a few days at my sisters.

Elvis is getting Spoiled too. He is acting all crazy since I put the Christmas decorations up.

Most of our Christmas is done.

Having dinner tomorrow here for my mom and Rick's parents but the gift giving was done last weekend.

Dinner on Sunday for Rick's extended family and then New Years Day dinner for my extended family.

Then it is time to start to look at losing a few pounds before the wedding in May

I have floors to clean, Clam Dip to seperate into 3 separate bowls, a Bedroom that needs desperately to be organized (its a fire hazard right now)and Really I got to take a shower. My friend Debis mother needs to be picked up...and umm ummmm hmmmmm something else....OH yeah pack my sisters car (she is going down to her DD's tonight) with stuff for tonight.

Only then can I sit and post stuff.... OOPs better get crackin. How does Santa do it every year?

Christmas went swell!!!!! NO SNOW....YET!

I had bought all the kids (cousin kids, Friends grandchildrens, neighbors kids) Lite Brite's for Chrismas. (they were on sale for 7 bucks last week) . Every single kid I got them for, parents let me know that was the #1 Present the kids got. Everyone was surprised that in this day & age that good old fashion Lite Brights are the was to go. My friends granddaughter spent 5 hours mesmerized by this contraption on Christmas eve.

Makie got one too but didnt open it. Her Fav gift (again a UNC production) was her Generation Dolls (American girl knockoffs sold by Target) cothes, wardrobe & Bunk beds. She spent THE WHOLE DAY QUIETLY playing with them! "quietly" is the key word here...Makie is NEVER quiet. It was like a christmas miracle.

and MERRY CHRISTMAS ...... a bit late

Mike and I both had to work Christmas eve. I got out at noon, but didnt get home til 2ish....I had to get the food for Christmas morning, Just pasties and breakfast stuff.

Everyone got here around 10AM, and we had a great egg sausage cassarole dish, along with the doughnuts and bagels, and fruit. I also made mimosa's which were a very nice start to the day(the kids had fruit punch).
Mike and I went to see my mom when everyone went to their respective familes....Gave her a nice pair of slippers for Christmas, and a polish star.

Then had a nice quiet evening at home. We watched Toy Story 3. A gift to me from Albert...Good dog!
and played about 3 games of "Guilty" (a who done it Wii game) It was a fun evening!

I hear ya Robin about not eating after the holidays..I have gained WAY to much...and need to get back into shape.

I love the pics!...Mackie is getting quite big...Wow ...I'm getting old. I almost did the petsmart thing ...but couldn't get Albert to look like himself...so gave up.....Yours turned out great!

Well the girls should be here soon...So Im off to get ready for them...

This thread has been neglected quite a bit lately.

I miss my old friends.

Sounds like everyone had a busy and happy day yesterday.

We will soon be heading out for the annual Boxing Day dinner for Rick's extended family.

Well I was told yesterday not to come in today( I was replacing a coworker on vaca)because of the snow....We didnt get any snow....but I now have another day off...
Oh well...I have some shopping to do anyway...

The big blizzard is just east of us, and I hope it stays there....or goes farther east into the ocean...

I have Makie & James here. They were suppose to go to my sisters in Brooklyn...BUT that was cancelled. NYC is a MESS!!!!! Makie is going home tommorrow (her Mom is catching up on sleep and in NO rush to have her home) James will be here till Sunday.

Me & him are going to see Little Fockers tonight. Even though the reviews were HORRIBLE. James gets to pick.

We got about a foot of snow overnight. It is cold, but absolutely beautiful. Definitely a winter wonderland! I find it invigorating!
