I'm with Robin...Nassau isn't all that much. I'm sorry you don't like the spa...Tom and I LOVED the massage we had last time and can't wait for spa treatments!

I cant do massages...way too tickleish!!!!! Couldnt even get my shoes shined...for the same reason!

Liz is certified in a great area! Congratulations to her on being hired!.

My going to school for IT certification will most likely get me a really good paying job. The director suggested I get the certificates in all the stuff I already know while I am there~(Micrsoft application stuff.)!.

I can start October 16th if I unemployment approves my choice.

As for classes in school now adays...
I guess there isnt to many times a person needs to know how to sew and/or cook anymore...everything is already predone now....

I just had to flush tw of my favorite fish yesterday...Im not sure why, but my Gourami, got all fat and bloated, and my loach had white all over his face...Im thinking I had a parasite...But Im not sure...Im going to wait and see if I lose any more and if not replace them....
But It was a sad day for me yesterday...oh well fish are just fish...This is why I dont let the kids name them...

James Guinea Pig had a stroke & died on Monday. He was fine....his Mother Not so good!

You know on some days I took my patients for granted... When I started working on weekends they put me on a different hall... that's when I realized how much I bonded with my patients and missed them!!!

She took me to see Regis & Kelly Live for my birfday~

after the show we took the subway to central park to see David Blaine!

What was the big deal?

Didja see Regis and Kelly today? Blaine came on and explained that he was disappointed in the trick and how it was *supposed* to happen. He wasn't supposed to fall that far and hang...he was supposed to fall about 10 feet and then (via balloons apparantly) magically float away. The wind messed up his balloon trick - they made it work after he hung for a minute, he flew up via the balloons and then was brought down further into the park.

Yes DU. Not personally met her but I did get to see your Kelly up close and personal. I have at least a dozen more to post from during the show. Mostly from in between being on air because that was the only time I could use my flash. For as bright as the lights are in the studio, it was still too dark for my pictures not to come out kinda blurry.

Diane Lane is so cute and tiny. We also saw Poppy Montgomery from Without a Trace. She is very pretty. R&K taped a fill in interview (that they could use as back up tape/interview/time filler, later.) The guy is from Heroes. Unfortunately, I don't watch Heroes

I went to my second school interview today. This one was a quick one, about 20 minutes. It took me longer to drive there

The studio had people outside after R&K looking for audience people for Millionaire. Aisling gave me the choice and I was more eager to go see David Blaine hang upsidedown in the Park.

Was supposed to go for work yesterday but didn't so I went this morning.

I knew that I should have gone to check my desk first because when I got to the office there was another cheque (or check, take your pick ) waiting there for me.

So back to the bank I went again.

Hello Threadkillers!

Sorry I've been MIA. I returned from Orlando and our computer got a virus...we couldn't use it at ALL!

So - DH and I decided to go crazy and get a 24" Mac. We just set it up. It was SO easy to do and the screen is GREAT for those of us who have eyes that are aging faster than our bodies!

Anyway, we just returned from dinner out and I'm headed to my cake decorating.

I'm not a David Blaine or Kelly Ripa fan, but I'm glad ya'll had a good time.

TW - what a cute cyber hug! Thanks! So far, we've enjoyed the MAC...it's nice not to have to wear my tri-focals to be on the computer!

I'm back from the cake decorating class. We made a frog on a lilly pad. It was a pretty cute cake - considering that's not my thing. I took a picture of it...on my phone, so I can't download it. I'll have to remember to bring the regular camera for the next class. It's the final class and we're making a cake with roses on it.

I'm making a chocolate cake with a cheesecake filling and chocolate frosting. So my roses will probably be yellow.

The one that sells crystal and has the swords on the back wall.
He *loved* it! So we bought home a photo of it
