Hi Threadkillers!

I'm caught up, but I'm gonna do a short post. Had a GREAT time at WDW. No crowds and made it to two parks. Mary & I were tapped on the shoulder for the "Year of a Million Dreams" and received a special lanyard. The lanyard was our ticket for after hours. At 8pm the park closed and if you didn't have a lanyard - you were NOT allowed in the park - no rides no stores - and they checked!

Anyway, only a couple hundred folks got this lanyard, so the Magic Kingdom was ours for the rest of the night (about an hour and a half). In that time we literally WALKED on every ride. It was amazing to be in the park (practically) by yourself.

After 18 hours of fun and driving, our time was up. I spent the rest of the next day recovering and sleeping.

Recovering because I FELL in the park! Not your little "Oopsie Daisy" but a full-contact-with-the-pavement-I'm-bloody-and-bruised-fall! All I can say...I'm WAY too old to fall any more!

Ya'll take care...it's nap time! TW - I have your antenna topper - I'm headed back to Orlando Monday for the week - I'll send it after that. :o)

Well thats a good news bad news post!
Ouch that hurts!:headache:

I can imagine the plane journey is long? This is a reason why i opt for DLP then WDW these days. I'm not a plane person!:lmao:

It's a gorgeous day here today.

Temps in the upper 70's and sun shiney :goodvibes

Wonderful.

Looks to be nice for all of next week too. :thumbsup2

I for one would LOVE to go to Disneyland Paris.

It is on my list of things to do ::yes::

Hello again my threadkillers!

Beautiful and cool here today :sunny:

DU, I am researching school options and wanted to confirm with you that CCNA certification is useful in the real world? Before I commit to start visiting schools~

Hi Threadkillers!

Sounds like everyone is having GREAT weather. It's a bit overcast and rainy here, but NICE temperatures...mid 80's.

TW - I have no idea what CCNA is...but it sounds important!

party: :cake: :bday: :cake: party:
Tomorrow is Robin's Birthday
party: :cake: :bday: :cake: party:

Good evening everyone.

Just popping on to say goodbye and I'll speak to you all next weekend when I get home as I'm going to bed soon and won't be around tomorrow to say bye bye!

Have a great week

CCNA is a Certified CISCO Network Analyst

Unemployment will put out up to another $4000 for me to get certified in a job on their demand list. I have to pick something worthy and marketable...after the CCNA question I found a school for Architectural Drafting that might be more up my alley. I have a long list of questions for the career councelors come Monday morning~

I HATE HATE HATE flying (in a plane)! I gotta be all Xanaxed up to board a plane.

Last time I flew back from London, I took my Xanax...and fell fast asleep. I woke up 7 hours later...AND THE PLANE NEVER LEFT THE RUNWAY!!!!!!!:scared1:

I guess I was on a talking jag cause halfway thru the 8 hour flight the guy sitting next to me (total stranger) turned to me and told me to SHUT the explicative up!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

If they are gonna pay...THEN DO IT! But is that what you want too do?

It will get your foot in the door. But in real world....Nobody cares if anybody is 'certified"! Thats just a thing Companys use to to qualify people. But a certified person starts in the same place as the Bosses neice. Its just a bs tool.

I've been in the biz 30 years and no one has ever asked me if I was certified in anything or not.

I like to fly.

It usually means that I am headed towards sunshine and palm trees:thumbsup2

My foot in a door is what I'm looking for...

the main reason I am being turned down for jobs is because of my lack of a Bachelor's Degree and/or specific certification for the jobs I am applying for~

and no...computer tech isn't at the top of my list.

Thank you Ann.:goodvibes

I love all of your countdown timers.

They are so nice and cheery and bright:thumbsup2

How are you doing today?

Still hurting?
