Hi Threadkillers!
I'm caught up, but I'm gonna do a short post. Had a GREAT time at WDW. No crowds and made it to two parks. Mary & I were tapped on the shoulder for the "Year of a Million Dreams" and received a special lanyard. The lanyard was our ticket for after hours. At 8pm the park closed and if you didn't have a lanyard - you were NOT allowed in the park - no rides no stores - and they checked!
Anyway, only a couple hundred folks got this lanyard, so the Magic Kingdom was ours for the rest of the night (about an hour and a half). In that time we literally WALKED on every ride. It was amazing to be in the park (practically) by yourself.
After 18 hours of fun and driving, our time was up. I spent the rest of the next day recovering and sleeping.
Recovering because I FELL in the park! Not your little "Oopsie Daisy" but a full-contact-with-the-pavement-I'm-bloody-and-bruised-fall! All I can say...I'm WAY too old to fall any more!
Ya'll take care...it's nap time! TW - I have your antenna topper - I'm headed back to Orlando Monday for the week - I'll send it after that.)
Well thats a good news bad news post!
Ouch that hurts!
Hope you feel better! Good Evening Tk'ers.
I have now booked my next visit to DLP for January..managed to get a great deal in the DisneyLand Hotel. DD has no idea she is going there 10 days after Christmas...she is going to be so excited when I do tell her.
