Just exactly how long does a thread have to sit quietly unnoticed before it can be declared officially dead?

in the last 6 days just on the CB

I did successfully kill the NASTY virus in our home w/ the help of my dh & ds.

NO one has had a fever over 100.0 F in 12 hours ... YEAH!!!!!!!
