Who feels like a Thread-Killer?

Well I am relatively new here and I LOVE it (I spend WAAAAAAAAY too much time reading posts and dreaming of our upcoming vacation) and I don't feel so so much like a thread killer as much as a dead before it starts thread starter! I figure if you are the last person to answer a thread then perhaps you have given the definitive answer, the "can't top that" addition, the "well I better not post after THAT answer because I will pale in comparson" reply.....

BUT if you start a thread and no answers or only one person gives you a sympathy reply..well now THAT sucks!!!

We were without power 12hrs, luckily evryone made back to MIL within an 1hr of the black out. She's west of Toronto, not o bad, except to heat made it really hard to sleep.

Susanne, my feet ach for you! The first thing I said to dh after the power came on was " I'm going to buy a stove top kettle so if the power goes out again at least I can make COFFEE !"

Glad you and yours were okay also.

And, boy, was I going crazy without my coffee! On Friday we walked to our closest 7-Eleven Store which was open, without power. They had put all the drinks from their refrigerator into a big tub with ice. Although most of the ice had melted, the drinks were still pretty cold and at the bottom, I found four Starbucks Iced Coffee drinks. I felt like I had hit the Lotto! Folks were offering me a lot of money for it, but I wouldn't give them up for anything. I told DH in our closet survival kit, as well as water, I'm going to always keep a few of those Starbucks drinks in there as well so I can get my coffee fix!

GREAT NEWS!!!! Good luck. I hope it is something hou really like and the pay is really, really good I have an interview tomorrow (Thursday) at 4:00pm.
