Kevin, many a DIS meet have been had, when outta towners visit OUR lovely city (and other Cities, too, I might add).

It might be for those who need to travel.

And, for me, June is probably out due to DS's driver's ed in summer school.

But, PLAN AWAY!! Get one going! How's the weather in July and August?!?!

In all seriousness...if people would come, I'd love to have a DIS Meet in Atlantic City. Two of the big events this summer are the air show in August and Miss America week in September. For the air show, we could spend the day on the beach while watching the air show and then hit the town later that night or something. Anyone interested?

Atlantic City is a long ways away for me. I have been there before though. It was very nice there but we had our daughter who was about 13 with us, so we didn't get into any casinos or shows etc.

It is fairly inexpensive to fly there from Detroit, but it's once you get there and have to pay the room prices that's the kicker

I went to a DISmeet last weekend and I really enjoyed it. There were about 20 people there in total, and it was about 1 1/2 hours from my house.
