That'll be done by this weekend.

I went and priced a new bed for him at Sleepy's. The hardest thing in this house is getting mattresses thru the stairwells. Adrian's is old anyway so we're keeping his old set and having a new one delivered to him in Philly.

I'm really looking forward to the quiet that comes with no kids in the house.

No fighting over the computer, no friends over at 2 in the morning...

I'm gonna be fine~

It's already quiet in my house with both of them still living here.

It's going to be very very quiet when they leave.

I wish...it would be if there was ever a time when noone was here

They go out late at night and on weekends but I'll never notice as long as the only time they are gone is when I sleep

I shipped out some stuff I sold on ebay, did summore shopping (still only found one outfit so far) got my scrapbook business back up and running - we're holding a party at my mom's house this saturday. I had the chance to spend money on tuition for real estate school or reinvest it in stock for my scrapbboking venture with Brenda. The scrapbooking (Creative Memories) stuff can yield me a decent profit if I put some real time into selling it. Real Estate right now? Notsogood~

I made enough on ebay to get what I wanted for the pieces, covered the shipping and packing costs and still made a couple dollars profit! John's gonna go thru his collectibles this weekend and get me some stuff to sell for him for next week.

Bizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzze day today!

Worked all night then Mom had her 'procedure' today. They put 3 more stents in her right leg. She did good this time! Sooooo i didnt even get to sleep until 3:00pm, then slep till 6:00.

After the operation, I took James to Perkins. I had their Southern Chicken breakfest special!!!! TO DIE FOR! And not as much calories as Anns posts!

Otherwise same ole stuff here.

been crazy busy around here with shopping & meetings & planning for 36 of us to hit Rome in 11 days.....Well we leave in 11 days, but don't reach Rome for 12 - the tour company really got us some GREEEEAAAAT flights & even better layovers....ugggghhhhh but i guess it is what it is & we have to make an adventure of the journey there.....

Shouldnt you hold off on the 'shopping until you get to Rome!!!!!

DU - I'm glad to hear your mother did well with her operation and you had a good meal! I love your phrase "scare the woohoo out of you". It made me snort diet cola up my nose - which stings, but is my funny-o-meter!

CADZ - Your trip is coming up soon! You're gonna have SO much fun! It's a lot of hard work, but I know it will be well worth it.

TW - I didn't know you were doing scrapbooking as a business venture. When did I miss that? Congratulations and the best of luck with it...it's a perfect fit with all the photos you take!

Robin - are you feeling any better? You & TW are just going through the empty nesting...I went through it about 12-15 years ago. I was sad for a week and then I really enjoyed having the house to myself!

Betsy - did you get your lawn mowed? I didn't build a hail man...they were melting pretty fast and hitting pretty hard. I decided to stay inside and watch instead! Everyone has trips coming up soon...including you!

Well, today DH took off work and we had a date day. We went to St. Augustine (where we'll be spending Christmas) and had a lovely lunch at Columbia House and walked around.

Then we visited my favorite spice shop (right by the restaurant) and she made my "Ann's Blend". It's my own salt blend. It has Salt, Shallots, Rosemary, Garlic, Parseley and a pinch of Lavendar. It's good on just about everything. My DGS loves it, but he can't fathom that Nana & Ann are the same person. He wants to meet the person who made Ann's Blend!

After that, we had a leisurely ride home, took a nap (jumping smilies here) and went to a burger joint for dinner. We've been watching movies ever since.

Such a lovely day. I also got an e-mail from tinknutt - they are currently in South Dakota having a lovely time. I think it's Montana then Colorado...I dunno...we'll see!

Brenda got me hooked into her Creative Memories program, and yes! It absolutely goes hand in hand with my photography...I've gotten LOTS of replies from the girls cause what I am doing is a scrap party instead of a demo!

I'm bringing stuff for them to use and stuff for them to buy, I bought a few new tools to show the ladies and stocked up on what they told me at the last party they need for the kind of albums they want to work on. Brenda even pointed out some Disney bundles that are a great price and come with a Mickey head hole stamper~

It's a shame you all don't live closer...

Sounds like fun! However, if I lived closer, I'd be making food for the event! I'd also bring along my Kindle and read why ya'll scrapped (what IS the word for it? Scrap Booked? Scrapped? Booked? Snip, Clip & Glue?). Anyway, I'd check and refill the drinks and keep the food comin!

BTW - I figured our my next food project! I want to make (from scratch - dough included) Asian Dumplings. I think Pork and Chive. I'm thinking I'll invite SWHNN and a few others for an grown-up dumpling, sake & spirits get together. Sound good?

We are only one hour away from Detroit.

If you ever decide to come to visit John's godfather you might just want to travel thru Canada to Detroit.

It might be quicker coming from your direction to do that.
