First day of work went good. Didn't do much but sign my life away. Lots of paperwork. I did find out when I get paid.

I'm not too sure about the Chinese New Year. I think you got it confused with Japan That's where I lived most my life.

When I came home today. Dante and DeVaughn were outside playing and saw some kids playing in the field next to our house. They said they saw some kids starting a fire out in the field.

We left to go eat dinner and when we came home there were firetrucks and cops all around. I believe the fire went out but they were there making sure it didn't start back up.

Oh and some other news... Roger got me a very cute Tinkerbell watch today!! I'll have to take some pics to show it off

Ive heard about it before...in the OLD stories....
Its told, that its a bright globe...way up in the sky...and if you live in the right place it shines down on you and gives you warmth....and vit. D....
Much needed here in the north.
According to Dr. OZ(from the Opera show)
Vit.D deficiency....Is a BIG problem in the north.....Because the sun doesnt shine enough here...

AI, was good..they are finally singing whole songs....I think there are quite a few good singers in the mix....But boy that Simon can be brutal sometimes....

I agree, If she could do her pacing outside,like she does in the summer, (going around and around my pond)..I dont think it would drive me as nutty as it does, in the house.....OR If I could go sit outside while she paced inside I could take it MUCH better....
She is still sleeping..right now, So I dont know how she will be today... Some days are much better then others...

Im going to go look on Ebay...to see if I can come up with a few more cheap sets...but three is a start..anyway, and the older girls still have some from the other trips...Im not sure if they are willing to tread them tho...

John has started physical therapy, I have to take him 3 times a week for the next month. Thankfully, the therapist doesn't think John will ned quite that much. I took him yesterday for his "consultation" and today and friday he goes for his sessions.

We actually tivo'd part of AI - then watched it so we could skip the commercials...i LOVE David Archuleta - the 17 y/o from Utah...he is JUST so darn cute! & yes Betsy the last two singers were two of my fas as well- Jason (i think) with the guitar & Michael Johns - he sang an amazing Bohemian Rhapsody during Hollywood week....i don't think Chikezie will make it thru but not sure who the other one will be... i don't usually vote - but i did twice last night....

and Cally - sooo glad the 1st day went well & that you're actually going to even get paid!!! that makes it all worthwhile!

I think you all know, I'm not a trader either...I *am* looking for a good way to show them, I've seen books and bags but have them all on a few lanyards for now. Rose has been (sneakily) buying me pin sets on almost every trip she and I have taken. I say sneakily because I know we look at these and then 6 or 8 months down the road she shows up with them for Christmas and birthday gifts for me...she's a great friend~This year she brought home a MVMCP pin *and* a Christmas Party coffee mug for me~

I dont really trade either....I keep mine on my binder that I use for my tripplanner....I have alot of cool ones, that I have gotten as gifts...If I trade I buy what I want to trade, and trade for a theme...Like the last time I traded...I just traded for tiggers(my DSs favorite)..and then gave the whole lanyard to him at the end of the trip... ...BUT I dont care to much for the pins I trade for, I just do it for the fun!....I love talking to all the CMs..and its a great way to start a dialogue..

i was thinking that you didn't trade pins either...getting pins as gifts is like getting Christmas ornaments....i think there is always some thought behind the purchases...they have to match the person....it takes me forever to pick out just the right pin as a gift!!! but i love them!!!! Other than my lanyard & my Disney jean jacket i have no other great way for displaying them either one of these days i may need to just get a display case
